Our stay at this hotel was fantastic, starting with the villa with a private pool: spacious, with an incredibly comfortable bed, a bathroom featuring a huge bathtub and a shower, and breakfast served directly in the room. The cleanliness was excellent. One evening we had dinner at the restaurant — the food was very good, and there was even live music that night, which created an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. Overall, a spectacular sense of peace and relaxation, exactly what we were looking for. The hotel is very close to the airport — we booked the shuttle for 800 baht round trip. The location isn't the best in terms of surroundings, as there’s not much nearby, but right in front of the hotel there’s a shop that rents scooters. The receptionist and all the staff were extremely kind. In front of the restaurant there’s a beach, but be aware that it’s not a usable beach.

Breakfast was a bit repetitive

Beautiful pool and beach area. Cute walk to your cabin. Cabins are thoughtfully designed. We loved taking the paddle boards and kayaks out! Sea is clear and sand is easy to walk on. We loved seeing the monkeys in the forests nearby! Staff were all friendly. Great breakfast and all food generally!

The water cut out for the entire complex one evening so we couldn’t shower the sand and salt off us after a boat trip. Looking this up this is because phi phi get their water in from mainland. There is loud music on the evenings from a hostel across the cove. If you are a light sleeper you may struggle. We are both heavy sleepers and slept well though!

It was authentically Thai with beautiful decor throughout. Fantastic location on the waterfront. Gardens superbly maintained and spotless rooms and restaurant. From the moment we arrived till the time we left we were looked after with kindness courtesy and nothing was too much trouble. We had a delicious breakfast each day served in the restaurant overlooking the sea. We opted out of the room service breakfast as we wanted the sea view but the option of eating in your own room was always available. Food was excellent with great choice and served by happy staff who welcomed us each day with smiles and genuine kindness. The rooms themselves were spotlessly clean, beds so comfortable, hot water and a lovely drench shower in both our rooms. I booked the grand sunset suite and it really was exquisitely decorated with great air-con and fast WiFi which was needed as I work remotely. It was close to all the islands hot spots and we used the uber app to order taxis when needed. The hotel had bikes you can use and canoes which were all free of charge and available daily. It was a most enjoyable holiday. Over the Christmas holidays. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a holiday that was relaxing, in keeping with Thai traditions with luxurious amenities and staff who were just incredible.

This is an exceptional hotel tucked away overlooking the Big Budda. I traveled with a family 17yr and 15yr olds, I booked 2 villas beside each other which worked well, giving us privacy. Each villa has its own pool which is not overlooked. The complex also has an excellent roof top sunbathing area close to the communal pool, bar and restaurant. The Hotel has its own taxi/van that can be booked in to town. Grab taxis are always available nearby. The villas offer a peaceful and tranquil location. The restaurant on site offers a great selection. Tours can be booked via reception to ensure Hotel pick up as that is not always an option on Booking.com etc. Staff are excellent always on hand to offer advice.

Great property in Koh Samui. Lovely kind staff with gorgeous personal villas + pools. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, personalised service, daily breakfast at our villas. The main restaurant and pool overlook the ocean which is gorgeous particularly at sunset, and we enjoyed the twice weekly music and fire-show. The food at the restaurant is also lovely but we would recommend trying other options a short walk away, including Nahm restaurant.

The beach/water directly in front of the resort is not a standard "beach" as it does not have seating and the water is very shallow until the tide comes in at night. If you want to "sit on the beach" we recommend taking a taxi to Choeng Mon main beach. I understand this could upset some tourists, but I think this is a common thing for many hotels/resorts in Koh Samui, so we were not upset, particularly as the resort side of the island had the fantastic sunsets.

Everything about Tango luxe is perfect. The privacy, serenity, breakfast served in the room, laundry service and of course, the exceptional staff who go above and beyond to make sure your every need is attended to. Nothing is too much trouble- special mention to Wai who made sure we were looked after. We have stayed here before and loved the improvements to the property especially the renovated Sea La Vie- such a wonderful place to relax and have a drink and/or something to eat- fabulous food options too. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Koh Samui. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Nothing

Our villa was beautiful inside and out. The best things were the large comfy bed and gorgeous little plunge pool. If anything I would say the pictures do not do the place justice. It really is private as well, no clothes needed!! We really enjoyed a night here before our flight home. I recommend the slightly larger villa as there is more outside space and a lovely hammock swing seat. The airport is a 400 thb / 15 min taxi drive away. Apart from that I can't say the location is great so if you were staying longer I think a car or scooter is needed. If you want a beach this place isn't for you, it's sea front but there is no actual beach. Not a problem as long as you know what to expect, which we did. Breakfast served at your villa is a nice touch but be aware that the floating tray that you see on the pictures will be an extra charge. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Overall this place was perfect for what we wanted, a bit of chilled luxury and privacy at the end of our Thailand travels.

The only thing we really didn't like was the onsite restaurant. The food was average at best and insanely overpriced. We only ate there because we wanted a nice easy end to our 3 weeks of travelling. We paid around 1600 thb for one main, 2 sides and 2 drinks. This was 3 times the price of most meals we had enjoyed throughout our travels, and nowhere near as tasty. It was a very pretty sunset while we were eating but overall I wish we had headed out to find some better food, or even got take out and enjoyed more time in our villa. Also be warned the restaurant prices you see on the menu get bumped up with a tax and a service charge (never seen this in Thailand before) I think it was 17% extra added in total.

The rooms are superb with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Breakfast was beautifully presented and the amount of space we had between the three of us was sheer luxury. The bathrooms were enormous and very nicely appointed with interesting objets d'art all around the villa.

I work in construction in Thailand and it's very rare to find a contractor who will start work before 0800hrs. Not so at the property next door, it would seem. Fortunately the bed was so comfortable that I was able to sleep through the racket they were making.

The hotel facilities were excellent, the room was very spacious and well furnished, it was also kept very clean throughout our stay. The location was excellent and the restaurant and bar offered excellent food and drinks; the sunset was spectacular and well worth a visit.

Breakfast was delivered to our room each day, and the options available were somewhat limited; if you wanted to change your choices it was easy to do, but there was no buffet option and sometimes the coffee and food was not as warm as it should be.

The villa was actually the highlight of the trip. Very well maintained and the staff is quite nice. Don’t get fooled by the reception, the reception does not do any justice to the actual rooms themselves. - Villas are great, with huge rooms and even bigger bathrooms. - Private pool is so fun to use - We chose the sunset villa and had nice sun and wind. In the evening, could really see the sunset from outside the room. - All facilities provided ie. Standard ones like coffee, tea, water, but also additional ones like umbrellas, beach baskets as well. - Free kayaks available. Water is quite shallow for at least 700 - 900m that you don’t get scared at all. - Breakfast is wonderful. Ofcourse you have to order beforehand, and it is slightly expensive, but quite good. Chia pudding was lip smacking. - Food in restaurant is good too. - Staff is wonderful. Always smiling and more than willing to help.

- Reception area is not so well done, but well, we don’t need to spend time there. Aircon in reception would be really helpful. - Location is ok'ish. It is located near the big buddha temple, and this location is not the most happening place. But Koh Samui is a small place. You can rent a car to visit other places. - Spa is good, but you can find much better ones for half the price in Chaweng beach.
