Generally, everything was fine. A beautiful historical building. Friendly staff (especially cleaning ladies and in the breakfast area). Cleaning every day. A gym with basic equipment. Various food for breakfast.

Cleaning could be better: stains after a toothpaste in the bathroom were with us all week, dust. Constant outside noise from the a/c. No chicken/fish for breakfast. On the last day, Netflix disappeared from TV. I reported an issue to the reception. They sent a technician who didn’t speak English. He tried to fix it but he wasn’t successful. After that he told me he would check the system and never showed up again. So the problem wasn’t solved.

The room was good, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the spa was great. The location is good, not far from the tram line T1 and it is easy to get to the center and main attractions.

The room could be more clean, the bath accessories are old and does not work properly. The room sound insulation is not good and you can hear everything that happens outside (especially several mosques around)

the property is located in old town and the moment you step out, everyone wants to sell everything to you. roadworks were going on right outside the hotel but once you enter the hotel, it a peaceful

do not book a cab that hotel would suggest you for the airport. we were told 470 TL and we were charged 530 by the cab driver saying additional for the taxes with no tax receipt. and the taxi driver had his own hustle going on where he made random stops on the way to drop off and pick up some stuff and didn’t care that we had flight to catch. on the top, he had 3 phones that he was constantly talking on only making us worried for our safety.

Good location, confortable room , good food

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We liked that there were two comfortable arm chairs. The staff were friendly, efficient and competent. Being in a Heritage Building, the hotel had some character, which fitted in well with the surroundings. Located in the 'Old Town' the hotel was within easy walking distance of the main sights of Istanbul. There was a private lounge for guests staying in the more expensive rooms and this was a real bonus. The buffet dinner there was included in the room rate. We would recommend this hotel.

Being a popular hotel for large tour groups the breakfast room was always busy and sometimes a bit noisy. However this didn't detract from our enjoyment of our stay in this hotel.

The location of the property is good. Easy to reach the main attractions in Istanbul.

I was quite disappointed by the quality of the food they served for breakfast. Also I’d like to note that there were gnats flying over the food area in the Club Lounge and the staff servicing lounge were very slow to clean up lounge after the visitors

Our room was upgraded upon checking in without asking to a suit on a high floor in a quiet location. The breakfast was a good variety and a fresh selection daily with the staff going above and beyond to ensure all that we needed. We requested of the concierge to organize several tour during our stay and each one was a unique and memorable experience along with numerous special dinning occasions to celebrate our anniversary along with recommending true traditional Turkish cuisine places to eat. just to mention a few with the most friendliest staff you could wish for.

Possibly a few more meat options for breakfast buffy to cater for us carnivores and possibly extend breakfast to finish at 11am for the ones needing a lie in after a big night out seeing the sights and shows.

I had a wonderful stay at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel truly deserves its 5 stars. The breakfasts were amazing, the sauna and Turkish bath were perfect for relaxation, and the room was comfortable and well-equipped. I also loved the lobby and the live music in the evenings, which added a great vibe to the place. Istanbul itself is beautiful, and the hotel made the whole experience even more memorable. Highly recommend!
