The breakfasts at Fer Hotel were some of the best that we had. The buffet was large, with choices for everyone - sweet and savory, meat and vegetarian. Our room was nice and spacious. The shower was amazing. The location was good - a ten minute walk to Hagia Sofia and many wonderful restaurants. And just a few minutes from one of the entrances to the Grand Bazaar.

The lighting situation was tricky. Trying to get all the lights off but keeping power to our bedside plugs was a challenge and even though we were there for four nights, we struggled every time to figure it out!

An amazing stay at **Fer Hotel Istanbul**. The staff were absolutely wonderful – especially **Faruk from guest relations** and the reception team. Also, the buffet staff were all amazing (sorry I couldn’t remember all the names, but each one of them was so kind and helpful). We were even given a **free upgrade** from a double room to a **mini suite deluxe** as a surprise for our wedding anniversary, which made our stay extra special. * **Room:** 10/10 – very comfortable and clean. * **Location:** 10/10 – perfect, close to the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, and the metro station. * **Staff:** Very friendly, professional, and they all speak good English, which was very helpful. Overall, it was an **amazing stay** and we would definitely love to come back again!

Everything! It was such an amazing hotel and so attentive. The location is perfect, it’s right next to all the important landmarks and definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Türkiye by far. It’s a walking distance to Hagia Sofia, Sultan Ahmet, Gran Bazaar, Egyptian Spice Bazaar, Eminonu. Genuinely was so pleased with the location. The hotel itself is luxurious and makes you feel good. It was really clean and smelled so nice when you walked into the lobby. I loved the interior too. We were initially given their best room on the lower ground floor but my mum had blood pressure issues and she couldn’t stay there so we were given a room on the 5th floor which was equally lovely, they were very accommodating and lovely about this. We had the Breakfast included and it was really nice, the only thing I would say is that the strawberries were not great they were a bit damaged etc but other than that the breakfast was great and the staff working were soooooo lovely you can’t fault them at all. Each and everybody working the restaurant were amazing human beings. I believe it’s Ahmet at the front desk, he was a great person and spoke English really well, was so helpful. We also experienced the 6.2 earthquake whilst in the hotel and felt the earthquake but the hotel withstood it very well. I felt safe being inside and staff were very reassuring. They informed us the building has been designed to withstand earthquakes and it’s very safe. Special shout out to Mohammed who does the cleaning he was sooo kind and so special. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to visit Istanbul!

Everything was great. I think if you could just tell all the new guests where the stairs are/fire exits in case of emergency. Other than that there is no fault here. The only other thing I would point out is the 5th floor bathroom had a bit of a smell to it even the first day we went. Idk if it’s a drainage issue but honestly not a big detail and it didn’t ruin the hotel for us. There were too many positives

The cleanliness of the washroom was particularly impressive, ensuring that we felt at home during our visit. One of the highlights was the breakfast offered each morning. It was an impressive spread of delicious and diverse options, catering to various tastes, and set us up perfectly for our adventures in the city. The service at Fer Hotel was outstanding, with every staff member going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We especially want to highlight Ibrahim, who was incredibly helpful. From the moment we arrived, he took charge of our luggage and ensured that we settled in smoothly. His friendliness and attention to detail made a significant difference to our experience, and we are grateful for his support during our stay. Another major advantage of this hotel is its prime location in the bustling heart of Istanbul. We found ourselves within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore the vibrant culture and history of this remarkable city. Overall, our stay was nothing short of amazing. We highly recommend Fer Hotel to anyone looking for family-friendly accommodation in Istanbul. We can’t wait to return!

Everything was perfect no complaints

The location of the hotel is fantastic, in the heart of Fatih, just 5min walk to the Grand bazar and 10min walk to the Sultanahmet square, but in a very quiet street. Eminonu pier can be reached in 15min walk, and the tram station is just around the corner. The area is filled with shops and restaurants. The rooms were quite spacious, and had everything that one can need. I recommend to take the breakfast, the food was delicious. And the most important thing: the staff! I don't have enough good words for them, from the reception, cleaning ladies and gentleman, to the breakfast staff, everyone was so wonderful and polite! My family and I will definitely come back.

There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom in one of the rooms we booked, but the staff fixed it quickly. I think that they should look into the problem more, because it seems that they were already aware of it.

There are so many excellent things about this hotel: - the staff: they're always ready to help and are so gentle. An special thanks to Mr. Ibrahim; - the room: modern, spacious and the bathroom is excellent and everyday the amenities we're replaced; also bottles of watter; - the breakfast: amazing food and full of pastries, cakes and Turkish sweets. - The location: the best one! Very close to 3 important spots that you can go walking few steps: the blue mosque, the old market and the cisterns. The trains and busses are 1 min walk and takes you for all directions. For sure, the best hotel.

We stayed 3 adults and a 2 year old. The room was true to the pictures and had a good size. Me, my husband and our son stayed in the room with double bed, while my dad stayed in the living room with sofa bed. The two rooms have a door in between, so there is possibility for privacy. My dad has back issues which is why we asked for a extra bed instead of sleeping on the sofa bed. The staff made that request possible. The room service was top standard. Elegant products with nice fragrance, slippers, bathing rope, daily water bottles. The staff made us feel like home. They showered my 2 year old with love and attention, so every morning when he woke up, he couldn’t wait to get out of the room to greet them. The owner gifted him apples and he ended up guarding the apples with his life. One apple even made it back to Denmark. We also had a nice chat with the owners dad on the rooftop, who gave us an interesting insight in Turkish politics. Thank you both for taking your time to give us a authentic experience. Breakfast is delicious and various. Would have been nice if it lasted until 11 - our son slept in almost every day, so we had to make a little plate for him, he could eat in the room once he was awake. The location is super; few minutes walk to tram line and metro line. Neighbor to grand bazaar, sultanahmet and Haifa Sofya mosque, 5-10 min walk to mehmetpasha shopping street and Egyptian bazaar, 15 min walk to tokapi. Everything is so easy to reach from Fer Hotel. We took a yellow taxi from airport, around 400 Turkish lira but he dropped us of 1,5 km from hotel claiming cars could not enter. it was possible, he just needed to take another/longer route. Hotel ordered taxi to airport for 500 Turkish lire and the taxi picked us up in front of hotel. For public transport we bought the Istanbul card (50 lira), which can be bought and filled with money at every single tramway and metro station. We were 3 adults who shared one card.

There are 2 glass doors that can be opened in the room. When you open the right glas door, it is secured by a glass wall, so a child won’t fall out unless you climb above. But the other glas door has no glass wall but instead a wooden wall, but it is located about 15-20cm from the glas door. Unfortunately we did not know this when we oppened both glas doors, so our son was very close to fall in between. Luckily we noticed it right away and grabbed him. Maybe you should just lock that glas door permanent so that it won’t be possible to open.

Simply outstanding! The location is unbeatable—in the city's heart, steps away from the most iconic landmarks. Exploring the area was incredibly convenient, with everything within easy reach. FER Hotel isn't just any place to stay; it's a destination where every moment feels special. A truly unforgettable experience that's a match!

Beautiful Hotel in the heart of the Tourist Centre. Close to all the historic attractions. The hotel was well managed, well maintained, and clean. It also had friendly and helpful staff.. Ps of you were like me trawling through endless reviews of hotels trying to decide where was safe etc. Look no further, you'll be happy with this choice. We stayed 3 nights.

When you are told how to operate the very fancy lighting in the room....do listen.

The hotel location was perfect. Walking distance to all major attractions and tram. Staff were always helpful and happy to attend to questions. Clean, calm and an oasis in the middle of a busy city.

On our departure we were assisted with a taxi to our next venue and the staff were brilliant but we ended up being ripped off by the taxi driver by charging us extras and perhaps a regular taxi driver who the hotel uses o a regular basis who is kind to travellers who do not speak the language and does not rip us off.
