It’s well-located just south of the Sultanahmet area’s main street, one which the tram runs. It’s close to all the major tourist spots in the area (bazaar, Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque), and close to plenty of restaurants, bars and grocery stores. The morning breakfast is quite good and there’s a mini fridge and water kettle with instant coffee provided. It’s a busy street, but not right on top of a busy business on the main floor. You can hear noise from the street if you don’t wear earplugs, so just wear earplugs.

The beds are horrendous. I was able to take a comforter off the adjacent bed (my room had 2 beds) and use it across my mattress and use it as a cushion, but I shouldn’t have to do that. The hotel needs to replace the old spring mattresses immediately.

Its a good value for the money with breakfast included. We were very warmly and welcomed by Regaip Erdógan. We forgot to reserve airport transportation to the hotel, but to our relief Regaip saved us from being ripped off by a taxi. Regaip informed us about the pricing and offered to reserve transportation for our return, which we were very grateful for. In addition, Regaip also offered us a lot of information about tours and the Bosphorus cruise, where we joined. Aside from this, Regaip also recommended a nearby restaurant, which we loved. Throughout our entire stay Regaip and the rest of the staff were very attentive and we felt very well taken cared of. I would stay at the HHK Hotel Downtown again!

Our stay at this hotel was exceptional from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the charming Regaip and his colleague, who provided us with a detailed map and excellent recommendations for local attractions. Their suggestion for a tour turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The hospitality extended further with the delightful Turkish coffee they prepared for us, adding a touch of local flavor to our experience. The service here is truly outstanding, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. The location is perfect, within walking distance to all the main attractions of the old town. There’s also a trolleybus stop right next to the hotel, making it convenient to reach other parts of the city. The rooms are elegantly designed, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for anyone seeking a memorable and luxurious stay.

me and my friend stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is located in an extremely good location, a five-minute walk from the Grand Bazaar in one direction, and a five-minute walk to Hagia Sophia in the other direction. if you are not up for a walk, there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel. The room was clean and tidy. It is quite small, but the beds are very comfortable, the toilet is clean, the air conditioner works properly and warms the room quickly. Every morning the room was cleaned and the maid would leave us new clean towels. In the room you have a hairdryer, as well as a bath, shampoo and conditioner. All the staff are friendly and unobtrusive, but I must especially praise the receptionist Regip Erdogan. Cheerful, smiling and helpful at all times of the day and night. He welcomed us upon arrival, explained everything to us about where to go and what to see. When we were waiting for the transfer for dinner on the boat, my friend was a little afraid of how safe it was and who would come to pick us up, and Regip got out in front of the hotel, waited with us and checked with the driver if everything was safe and calmed her down, thank you very much for that ! Whenever he wanted to, he would offer coffee or tea, really, I have never had such a service anywhere before, and he deserves all the praise!

The location is perfect. 15 min by feet to the main places. The room, breakfast was perfect. The tourism agency from the corner of the street (Gazova tourism agency) is perfect to make deals.

We booked the transportation (to/from airport) from current site (booking.com). In the airport we found the company in charge for transportation and it was perfect. It`s a pity but the return date the transportation company didn`t know. In 3 min from the hotel is a Gazova Tourism Agency and by 40euro we arranged the return transportation to the airport.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! What I appreciated the most was its perfect location, making it easy to explore the city. The highlight of my experience, however, was the exceptional service from the staff, especially Regair Erdogan. He was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. Thank you again for making my visit so enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Customer service and care here are of the highest calibre. From the moment we entered the door, Regaip Erdoğan on reception, looked after us and made our stay great. He displayed fantastic customer service skills and was eager to make us both welcome and satisfied with the hotel services.. Breakfast is absolutely terrific and varies from day to day. I will definitely stay here again and again.

This hotel has no negative aspects

The receptionists are incredibly friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. The location is exceptional, 5 mins walk to a tram station Çemberlitaş, 15 mins to the metro station, 3 mins to the closest supermarket, and 10-15 mins to Ayasofya,Topkapı Sarayı, and most of sightseeings are within walking distance. Clean and nice rooms. Breakfasts were great, 3 types of bread, vegetables, white cheese, eggs, olives, fruit, cereal, turkish coffee 😍🤩 and etc. Initially, I paid for 1 night just to check that everything is fine and then extended to almost a week as we really liked the location, hotel itself, people here, and food ❤️

Sometimes, it might be a bit noisy in the mornings, as the location is close to the city centre (our windows were facing a street, so we heard inpatient drivers from outside 😄🙈). Water and tea in our room were not provided on a daily basis, so we have to ask the receptionists every time. Otherwise, there are no any issues at all.
