The best thing, the staff! Lovely people, a family feel, and always kind and helpful, and just genuinely nice people. I stayed in another hotel that was much larger and fancier, but with no sense of connection. I learned more about Istanbul from my one night stay at the Omiya than the rest of my stay in the city. Serving tea and coffee as a courtesy to guests. Happy to help with anything. The location is good, and transport access great, but it is the human connection that provides the warm memories. Small additions. The room is nice, clean, stylish. Nice quality fittings, good air conditioning, nice bathroom, fridge, kettle, water, teas etc. Any time, you can also have tea or coffee downstairs. Staff will recommend cafes, restaurants etc. Tram stop is c.4 mins walk away.

Well, manage your expectations. This is not a five star hotel. It isn't huge and fancy. Yes, you may be woken by the call to prayer at 5am. There was nothing to be negative about, just remember that for this price, in this location, these days, this hotel provides a lovely place to stay, and with good people providing great service. Tram stop is uphill, along cobbled streets, some being repaired in August 2024, so beware these external factors of access. Taxis can also take time through old city streets.

The staff and the location were great. Felt very safe as a solo female traveler, even after dark. Walkable to Grand Bazaar and tram line, as well as the Blue Mosque and other main sights. I loved that there were restaurants and other hotels near by but it was away from the craziness of the high tourist areas.

Upon arrival, my driver for the airport transfer I had arranged through the hotel took about an hour after I checked in at the meeting point to pick me up, and he almost got in several accidents along the way. The return transfer to the airport was flawless, on time and safe driver. A couple of months after booking my reservation, the price of the hotel for my same dates had dropped by over half. I contacted the hotel to see if they would honor the lower prices or price match but they wouldn't. They advised that Booking.com runs discounted specials that they can't control. So book a free cancelation room and watch for specials, especially during the off season!!

First of all the hotel is new, everything inside is so fresh and nicely designed, lobby, restaurant, rooms. On top of my pros list is the staff, unforgettable hospitality experience! The location can't be more convenient like that to move around Istanbul by any mean, everything is nearby. In the morning the street is busy but safe, not so loud, even that things get calm before afternoon so don't expect to be bothered at night. The rooms are exceptional, nothing to complain about. Also a pros that they offer 24h tea and coffee in the lobby and you can enjoy it in the restaurant. The reception can offer you very good options for anything you can imagine even if you come with zero organisation by your side. If i go again i will book the same hotel without searching, its the absolute value for money. They informed me that they will soon create a larger lobby room on the first floor, its good that they're keep upgrading!

The only con, the breakfast variety needs lot of improvement. Especially the sweets and pastry, but still it's tasty whatever they offer. That's not changing my preference though for selecting the hotel to stay again or suggest it to friends, the only thing i would change is to book without breakfast. The Turkish breakfast around in Istanbul is a MUST, with about 10 Euro per person, so better will be like that!

The staff was really amazing. Ready to help you with everything. The breakfast was really good. The hotel is 10-15 min away from the major attractions in Istanbul. Also, at front desk you can find all the useful information about visiting Istanbul. Highly recommend.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and warm. They went out of their way to help us. The hotel is new, the location is a walking distance from the attractions in the Sultanahmet part which is great. Although there are many restaurants and food options the hotel also has very convenient room service which comes handy after a long flight. Nice breakfast.

I particularly loved the cleanliness, thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, and found the staff to be quite impressive. Overall, my experience at the hotel was extremely positive.

Everything was perfect.

The Omiya is in a fantastic area, just a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. There are lots of coffeeshops nearby and the hotels offers free tea and coffee all day long. The staff was very friendly and the area was very quiet at night, making for a perfect sleep every evening. All in all, great value for money and highly recommended as a three-star hotel in Istanbul!

Everything was very smooth.

The staff is awaresom very welcoming, ready to help, smiling. We are really grateful to them. The location is very good, not too crowded, but really close to everything you need (main places, food, tram, shop). The hotel is new and has everything you need.

Breakfast is rather basic and barhroom needs hangers.

Breakfast would be perfect with a sweet option (pastry etc) to go with coffee at the end. Nothing else to add, was very satisfied with our stay
