The staff and service and facilities at the Rayelin hotel was excellent. The quality of the renovation and the quality of facilities was genuinely excellent. The breakfast was especially fantastic - the quality of the breakfast service was excellent and the breakfast staff was really fantastic in addition to this the cleaning staff was fantastic as well. The reception and lobby staff staff... Especially Urugu, Burhan and team were amazing and very helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend the hotel and especially it's staff for the fantastic quality of service provided.

Can't fault the hotel really. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. They really welcomed you to the hotel with coffee and cakes and assistance with getting luggage to the room. Rooms are spacious, clean and luxurious. We had a terrace which was lovely. The view was not so nice but can't really be helped with how the hotel is situated. Loved the little touches like robes and slippers. The spa and pool are amazing. Pool has a jacuzzi. Could make the pool abit warmer though as it was quite cold. Had it to ourselves most nights. Sauna and steam room are great after long walks round the city. Every part of the hotel is finished to a high standard. It is about a 20 minute walk from Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque just straight down the main road. Close to the tram stop round the corner. Close to the bazaars and easy to get to Balat. Surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. Really was a great experience.

So many great things about staying at this hotel. 1. Excellent value for money, spanking new hotel with top end fittings in the bedrooms and bathrooms. You can see that with Duravit toilets throughout and hansgrohe shower fittings. Everyone in our group of 13 said the showers were the best they ever had. Beds, duvets and pillows are so comfortable. It feels very luxurious and is well worth the money. 2. As an architect I can say it is beautifully designed, with a modern fresh feel. Colour combinations are great. 3. Location is perfect. There is a more less known mosque, Shehzade Camii (1500s) super spectacular although smaller than the grand mosques, directly opposite if you wish to offer daily prayers. In one direction you can travel to Fatih and Yavuz Salim Mosques and in the other direction the Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia area. There are also excellent transport links to the metro, bus and tram (literally 3 minutes walking distance) which connect you to the wider city. You can get to Taksim or Ayup Ansari complex in 20 minutes paying peanuts! Ask the hotel for a travel card. Our whole group (13 people) travelled with 1 card. Be careful though, like with any other major city, pickpockets about. 4. AC works like a dream. 5. Staff, super friendly and always around if you need anything. Special mention for Mehmet Seda Sima at breakfast times who really looks out for guests and makes sure you have everything. Breakfast was delicious and wide ranging prepared by chef Ensar Eyuup Sakine and his team. Breakfast does vary slightly, day to day. Finally Burhan in reception, who will always meet and greet you with a smile. To conclude we will be looking to come here again next year. we were a family of 13 and stayed for 6 nights in 5 rooms. We believe we got excellent value for money and hope prices dont rise for next year. Staff, location and hotel all 5 star for me. Please understand this is a city centre hotel. Thank you for making it an amazing trip.

I would say no negatives however lacking an outside space, but with central Istanbul difficult to get this in any hotel especially in the historic area. All other elements listed above more than compensate for this.

Location is close to most points of interest a walking distance away Beautifully built hotel to a high standard and finish with beautiful decor nice spacious bathrooms and rooms I had booked 2 rooms for the family and both were spotless and the finish was beautiful I know I have said beautiful a few times but it genuinely was I’d like to thank all the staff at Rayelin hotel for there exceptional service and there care for detail always greeting us with a smile and if we had any issues they were dealt with in a very professional manner I can’t thank you enough for making me and and my families stay so enjoyable I Will definitely be back and hope nothing changes keep it up guys all the best

Great location, only a few min walk to metro. Modern and clean hotel with great breakfast, daily free bottled water and access to a beautiful spa open till 10pm. Staff was friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

A minor thing but there could have been a few more hooks in the bathroom to hang the towels as well as in the entrance of the room to hang the coats. Also massage prices are quite high.

Very comfortable room, spacious, clean, with comfy bed. Bathroom reasonably sized. Bathrobes and slippers provided. We also had a selection if fruit, baklava and nuts in our room aa a gift when we arrived. Reception staff very friendly!

Breakfast was not a top experience and ultimately discouraged us from voting 10/10. Very loud. We couldn't get our juices and coffees but then staff took long sometimes to get it. Same with missing cutlery. I'm not expecting service staff to smile all the time, far from it. However, many employees at breakfast seemed barely motivated to do their job. Plus we felt like we weren't the "right" kind of guests they immediately jumped to help while others were given attention much more readily. I expect this breakfast experience to vary from guest to guest. For us, though, it just didn't measure up to the standard of the rest of the hotel!

We are staying 5 nights at this hotel. From the moment we entered we met a friendly and smiling staff, they were welling to help us with any matter or question. The hotel is brand new, it was open only one week ago so everything is new and clean. They serve a very good breakfast and the team there was very helpful. We stayed in a family connecting room, the main room is large and spacious. I have a special thanks to Mustafa and Sibel from the reception, Sultan from the support team and Shayma from the Spa.

The hotel exceeds all expectations, from the very entrance you understand that you are a welcome Guest…everything shines and smells good, magnificent room...breakfast,great spa…. And of course the staff... everyone greets you with a smile (natural), ready to help in any situation…. thank you very much....Already booking for March
