The location was excellent, everything is a shortish walk from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping around the area. The food was excellent, it took a while to arrive but was very good when it did. The staff were helpful.

The room was small but functioned well. The storage/wardrobe was a cupboard. The shower had 2 taps where a mixer would have been much better as you had to get in it to adjust it which meant you were either freezing or being scalded as it was only a rainfall head. Only 1 working lift which meant that it sometimes took an age to arrive.

I travelled into the city from the suburbs by train and it was very convenient to have your establishment within easy walking distance of Town Hall Station. To be honest, it was a little difficult to locate the hotel but once I was there the check in process was very well and professionally handled by the Concierge. My room, while a little on the small side, was well made up with clean sheets and towels and a clean bathroom. I couldn't fault it and it was the perfect venue to catch up with friends for a drink in the bar before heading out. The location was great. Walking distance to everywhere in the city.

I had difficulty locating the actual entrance of your hotel from the street. I had to refer to Google Maps.

Location is excellent which was the main reason I booked but I was pleasantly surprised at how roomy and charming our accommodation was. I called and asked for a roll out bed for just the first night and with minimal extra charge. When I arrived this hadn’t been noted but it was quickly organised and I was able to check in early as well. Room was large. Bathroom was massive. Books were a quaint touch. I’ll be back.

The hot water warning in the bathroom was a tease as it was lukewarm at best but as it was so warm outside this wasn’t an issue. Could be a problem in winter. We had some unexpected guests in the form of cockroaches on one evening, but it’s an old building I guess. We had an evacuation on night 2 which wasn’t the fault of the hotel but it wasn’t as well communicated as we’d have liked. False alarm.

Location was fantastic. Middle of Sydney CBD and an easy walk to Darling Harbour and Opera House. For the price you can't realy go wrong. The room is spacious enough and beds were comfy. Its a shame we didn't get to try the hotel breakfast or the bar as we had little time during our stay. I would stay here again when back in Sydney. The hotel manager was kind enough to give us a room at 10am that was available as we had a very early flight. 10/10 stay for this price point and location

Not a criticism of the hotel but there is A LOT of construction happening is Sydney CBD so don't review bomb this hotel for something that is uncontrollable for the hotel staff. If you're expecting a lakeside tranquil nights sleep, go stay in the suburbs somewhere as there are a few reviews mentioning noise levels. Noise was not that bad at all, we barely noticed it tbh

The room we had was clean and well appointed with stylish touches in terms of classic boutique furnishings and a good selection of tea and coffee (Nespresso machine!). We especially liked and were pleasantly surprised by the size and cleanliness of the bathroom attached to the room. The hotel itself was easy to find and the check in process smooth and efficient, especially as we had a very late arrival and were a bit tired. It was nice to see reception staff on duty who were helpful and friendly.

The only very minor issue was the bed was actually made up of two separate beds which had a tendency to drift apart a bit in the middle of the night. But as mentioned - this was only a very minor quibble. Aside from this the bed itself was clean and comfortable.

The hotel has a great location, all important sightseeings close by. You can lock your luggage until your room is ready and as well on the day you leave. Our room was 2h prior to the check in available! No extra Charge for that

We had the Continental breakfast and it was a little disappointing. The Croissants and pastries tasted like they were 2 days old. It was very, simple: jam, toast and that's it. The coffee was really good.

The staff were more than happy to help with absolutely anything. They assisted you in any way possible. I love that you're able to use all the facilities, washing/tumble/ironing board/fridge, tea etc. I stayed in an older room, very small but it was exactly what I needed for a solo traveller.

How hot instantly the water comes out. There is a sign warning about it but it's VERY hot. The ledge between the bathroom and the bedroom. I must have stubbed my toe too many times 🤣🤣🤣

Great location. Within walking distance to lots of cafes, public transport, museums, shopping malls and Hyde Park. Clean bathroom. Quiet at night. Suited my needs for a no frills accommodation for a weekend getaway.

The facilities and furniture do feel dated but I suppose that's part of its charm. It's a cozy sized room and did smell a bit musty but I wasn't too bothered. Larger rubbish bins would have been preferred as there was a small recycling bin in the bedroom and a smaller general waste bin in the bathroom.

All the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. I was grateful that my son and his partner was given a room next door. I made the booking for them very late. Thanks.

I was disappointed with the Continental breakfast. It was nicely presented in a corner area of the dining room. But it was awkward to get to the toast and milk etc if others were accessing the food. Please re consider the way the food is set out. Also, there was a narrow selection of cereal.

Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with separate space for toilet, washing machine available for free, great location where you can stop by during the day to freshen up or relax, good recommendations for local things to do and see, helpful with our ask for early check-in

Cleanliness under bathroom bench could have been better, no proper windows which restricted light and fresh air, a little noisy from vents and what may have been a parking garage nearby (despite being on 8th floor), only a recycling bin in main room, a normal one was only in the bathroom
