The breakfast had a brilliant range for everyone of the family. The pool access was lovely and the water temp was perfect. The hotel is under going improvement so this is the only reason that the rating could not be a 10. Excellent service and welcoming room the staff.

That the sink is not in the same room as the toilet and no plug sockets by the bed.

The drop off is a little tricky. There are no visible signs to Novotel from Sheldon Square. If arriving by taxi , at Sheldon Square there is a barrier, the driver can press the buzzer at the barrier and the security will let the taxi through. The taxi can then drive all the way down to the hotel.

It all seems very new. Good location, Paddington is very convenient to reach many areas of London. Room was quiet.

It’s at the end of a cul de sac, and enclosed by a highway and train tracks. Not a big disadvantage, just feels like a bit of an island.

The breakfast was very varied, rich, even the most picky eaters could find something to eat. There were fresh cut vegetables and fruits, yogurt, cereals, bread of several kinds, varieties of meat, sausages, beans, hasbrowns, ripe tomatoes, honey and hazelnut creams, jams. And for drinking there were 2 coffee machines, fresh orange juice and infused water. As I said, anything for all tastes. We also had dinner several times at the hotel restaurant, and the food was delicious and the service impeccable. The pool is not big, but it is a huge plus for the hotel. The fitness room is well prepared. The hotel, in general, is one that deserves the return and recommendations for accommodation. It is located in an office area, where you can find peace, cleanliness and permanent lighting. We had cleaning every day, clean towels, slippers and robes.

The location of the hotel is very good - it is very close (approx 10min walk) from Paddington railway station, in addition to that there are several tube lines that we perfect to and from the main attractions of the city. The hotel is located in a business area, which means that it is calm and quiet around it. There are several restaurants, grocery shop and coffee places. The personnel at the hotel was nice and helpful. We were able to leave our bags both on the arrival day (before check in time) and on departure (after check out time). It is clean and have everything a guest might need.

Everything was great. I loved how clean the room was. Spa zone was very clean as well. Our king size bed was very comfortable. Breakfast variety was ok, noone stayed hungry. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The sofa bed definitely needs a topper, as it was very uncomfortable without it and our child couldn't fall asleep. I must admit, the staff reacted promptly to our complaint and provided an extra duvet for us to use as a topper. We had a separate toilet room and a shower/bath room, the toilet didn't have a sink to wash hands which is not convenient at all.

The staff were all really friendly and very helpful. The room size was very good for London and the location is convenient near Paddington and in an area with a few restaurants and shops. Overall pretty good value for the location.

The pool - it is tiny and needs to be booked. I had messaged in advanced asking if it needed to be booked as I saw that on another review and was told no. On arrival, I was told yes it did need to be booked and the time I wanted was already full. Honestly, it's so small I don't think you could swim lengths anyway. The breakfast - the selection was quite average and the quality was poor. There were also some basic things missing e.g. jam amd spreads for toast.

Breakfast was really good, room was lovely, hotel was new looking and facilities were great, check in was easy, held our bags for us for the day as we atribed very early before check in time, and held bags for us after check out no problem at all. Room service was good quality food and arrived quickly, it was also good there was no awkward waiting to be given a tip as i hardly ever cary cash now.

Couple of small things as stay was very good, booked the room for 2 adults and 1 child, the sofa bed was not already pulled out and made up. There are no kids options on the room service so had to pay for a full size adult meal which is expensive. The pool was far to cold.

The personnel were friendly, helpful and service-minded. The room was clean and bug-free. The hotel exterior was well soundproofed. Our room faced the train station, but we didn’t notice any noise. The room had a mini fridge and a well designed desk. The main bed was firm and comfortable. The location was fabulous, close to restaurants, Starbucks, convenient stores and Paddington station. We slept very well.

Our 16 yr old son found the sofa bed uncomfortable. The shower door did not work properly sending lots of water onto the bathroom floor. We did not have enough towels to mop up after each shower. Our friends had the same shower problem in a separate room. The hotel seemed clean and well managed, but we did find the breakfast menu limited, and the breakfast eggs were very crunchy - like egg shell crunchy. Despite these few flaws, we do recommend the hotel.

The location was excellent, a few minutes walk from Paddington Station. The immediate area was very peaceful with plenty of outdoor seating and food outlets. Around the corner was Little Venice and within walking distance of Notting Hill. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice.

There was work being carried out on the outside of the building that was very noisy. We weren't given any prior warning that work was being done. Luckily it wasn't on the weekend but started 9am Monday morning which made it too noisy to stay in the room. You had to book to use the pool but there was no control at the pool which is very small and there were too many people in it.
