• Charging for early check-in/late checkout is for extra charge • Cold air enters through a slit in the window, causing sleep disturbances(addressed later). • Small space for two people considering the price. • Messages/requests seem a little bit automated • If your phone is discharged, access to the property is difficult. Perhaps an emergency phone / button to connect to someone who can help - would be nice.

Amazing location! The room was nice and spacious except for very little room between bed and bathroom. Small kitchenette had everything we needed. Loved all the small touches like the free tote bag, biscuits, etc. Great views from the 4th floor. Free luggage storage nearby with the Stasher App worked out great (they provide you with a code to use and then the service is free). Easy communication via WhatsApp and checkin and entering the house with the provided link worked really well.

We did have issues with the shower/ water pressure. At times, there is no warm/ hot water at all or just a little drip. Then it worked fine again, and mid shower, it would either completely switch off or reduce pressure so much that you can't wash your hair. Stairs are steep and narrow, and there's no lift. Generally, no problem at all also with a small suitcase. It's a bit of a struggle with a bigger suitcase but doable :)

Great location, Paddington station is just a few minutes away by foot. Room is modern and clean. Service is really responsive and helpful.

One advice, avoid the rooms on the underground. The ventilation of our room is pretty bad. We asked for a fan on our second day stay and it greatly helped but if you can, get the rooms upstairs which I assume will have better air ventilation. Also there is no physical key and it happened to me a few times that the link on my phone failed to open the door ( it did get solved quite quickly by the wonderful supporting team though).

Location is amazing. Breakfast in a nearby partner cafe - was super delicious. Convenient key system and easy check in. Comfy bed, fan in the room which was good for hot nights.

the rooms are tiny but well organised overall it has everything that is needed.However, with a big luggage it would be a challenge. Staircase, no lift - transporting luggage to the 4th floor is a challenge.

The hotel staff on site (particularly Ilaria), made my stay. Ilaria was kind, helpful and supportive as I was quite distressed with the overall check-in process and staying on the top floor with no elevator. The single room was small yet efficient. Overall this hotel is good for a couple nights if you want to be situated close to transportation for Heathrow Airport. Also Hyde Park is close by, which is always a bonus.

Check-in is electronic and done through your phone - make sure you have internet. I had issues connecting to the hotel wifi, so had difficulties entering the building. The WhatsApp operator was slow to respond to my messages. Most older London hotels do not have elevators, which is the case for Bob W (I didn't realise this upon booking). There were a lot of stairs to deal with and with much luggage, I would have struggled if it weren't for the hotel staff (Ilaria).

The hotel is in a great location, and the room was spotlessly clean and well decorated. It had a calm atmosphere and was quiet throughout my stay. The added touches such as filter coffee in the room were appreciated. The shower was very good, and access to the hotel using phone-based reception worked smoothly.

The room was quite small and, while fine for a short stay, it lacked a proper space to work on a laptop which would be useful for business travellers. The third-floor room required the use of steep stairs, which might not suit everyone. Breakfast was through a local café with only one option (Sheila’s Café). Although the food was good, the café was basic and no one explained that the £15 credit didn’t cover a full English breakfast and a drink.

The stay had a lot of character and it made it feel much more comfortable and warm. The room did not feel like an empty shell with just the "bare minimum" requirements. It had a yoga mat (actually two), a instant film camera, a retro games console, wine glasses, a reusable water bottle to take around town with you, and plenty of other small things I might be missing. They have gone above and beyond just a simple hotel stay experience and it shows.

The room I stayed in was underground which caused some issues: dampness on the walls of the bathroom which both looked bad and was a hygenic issue, a stale air smell especially in some corners of the room, a spider and a moth.

Loved the location! 5 min walk to Hyde Park. 30-40 min walk to Oxford Street through Hyde Park. Queens way just around the corner and very close to Notting Hill (although I never went there myself). Room was small but super cozy!! The bed was soft and really nice. The bathroom was probably the smallest I've ever experienced but it was charming and added to the coziness. There isn't really space to keep your suitcase open but they had a really nice shelf where I could put all my clothes. Loved that!

The pillows were a bit too hard for my personal taste and you could hear people wandering around in the hallway but basically every hotel has that problem so it's an issue for all hotels around the world. The sink in the bathroom was slightly too low for me but this is only an issue if you're tall, like me. So really only very small issues that aren't really issues to be honest. I had a really lovely stay!

I was very happy with my stay. The room I stayed in was very small, with no air conditioning and on the 4th floor, requiring negotiating narrow stairs with my large suitcase. Yet despite that the room was fitted out to a high standard, with a little kitchenette and all the comforts you would need. I stayed during a heatwave and they even had an expensive Dyson fan in the room. The door is opened using a secure app on your phone. Just check which room and which floor you are booking. The staircase was very narrow and steep, so would not suit someone with mobility issues.

My room was small and on the top floor. But I knew that when I booked. I would definitely stay here again - maybe in a larger room on a lower floor.

Convenient location, relatively quiet street, clean room and tons of amenities, including Atari Flashback with a couple of joysticks – really nice touch. I also liked that all the power socket converters were available in the room.

The room itself was tiny. It’s not a new thing in London, but this was the record-breakingly small room. The shower was under the stairs, so it was basically a sloped closed, so I had to sit in it to wash my head. We were also travelling during the time of extreme heatwave, and the room didn’t have AC, so we had to keep the window open, which didn’t help much, since it was so how outside.
