The location was fantastic. Very close to Hyde park, royal Albert hall and easy access to public transport. There are corner shops and restaurants/delis nearby. The room was clean, nicely decorated and well maintained with complimentary chocolates, biscuits and teas, coffee and hot chocolate packets in the room.

It is good value for London but for the price I’d expect more space in the room if it was outside of London. In the communal areas and breakfast room it could do with some painting or redecorating. The breakfast plates cutlery etc are a bit of a hodgepodge rather than matching. The breakfast was ok but not fantastic.

Central and convenient, near restaurants and the tube.

The walls were too thin - we could hear the neighbours and other guests talking in the middle of the night in the hallway and in their bedrooms next door and upstairs. Floorboards squeak and some guests just don’t walk - they stomp! Some guests are just rude and inconsiderate . It is not the Hotel‘s fault. Perhaps one should inform guests at check in to be QUEIT & to RESPECT other guests who would like to get a good nights sleep.

Very helpful and nice staff on the check in desk. Offered us complimentary breakfast and easy check in/out. Very clean rooms and good amenities within the room.

Walls are a bit thin so can hear people in the next room or corridor. Gap in the curtains at the side allowing light in and unable to pull them over to prevent this but not a major problem

Upgraded to a club room which was pretty big and right next to the entrance so no stairs. The shower was fantastic and the room had a complimentary bottle of wine and water which was a nice touch. The breakfast selection was small but tasty and gave us what we needed for the day. The location is right next to Paddington station and 2 tube stops from Tottenham Court Road so absolutely perfect for the theatres.

The breakfast food was a little basic and the staff struggled to find our bags both times we left them in reception but nothing else.

Great location, close to the tube and Hyde park, the room although small was equipped in everything we needed. We were able to store our luggage before the check-in. We liked the fact that there wasn't a curfew. Staff was polite and helpful.

We were not told at the check-in where the restaurant was, but a lovely cleaning lady helped us with that in the morning. The breakfast was nice, but the coffee was pretty bad. The staff couldn't cope with the volume of guests and some people couldn't sit because there was no space. The size of the restaurant is definitely too small. You also had to wait for items to be refilled. We couldn't switch off the bedside light and the fridge was very noisy.

Location good for my stay.

We had a lovely stay at Grand Paddington hotel during our recent trip to London. The location is truly fantastic—just steps from beautiful Hyde Park and about a 25–30 minute scenic walk to Regent Street and Oxford Street. There are plenty of charming cafes and restaurants nearby, which made grabbing a bite or a morning coffee incredibly easy. It's also very convenient if you're traveling via Paddington Station, which is just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciated after long days out exploring. A special shoutout to Cosmin at the front desk—he was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and his local knowledge really added to our experience.

One thing to note: the rooms are quite small. It didn’t impact our stay, but it's something to be aware of if you're traveling with a lot of luggage or prefer more space.

This was my fourth trip to London and I have stayed in similar accommodations in Bayswater area before. This one was the best so far. The room was in a good size (club room), bathroom was new and had enough space and bed was big and comfortable. The hotel is in a very good location- 5 minutes walk to either Hide Park or Paddington station where you can find a bus stop or metro. If you are up to more steps, then around 30 minutes walk to Buckingham palace. Also close to Little Venice area for a nice evening stroll around canals. We did not have breakfast so can´t comment on that but there are lots of options around the hotel and in Notting Hill area for that. If you walk to Queensway street (5-10 min), there are 3 different grocery stores as well. I like this area overall, because it is close to all the tourist areas but also close to Hyde Park for some peace and greenery. Also the streets and houses in this area are just so pretty. Overall, really recommend this hotel and we got a very nice price deal as well from Booking :)

Room: I was in the twin club room - comfortable beds, no problem with wifi, room big enough. I appreciate very much the welcome set (bottle of wine, chocolates, water, possibility to make tea/coffee), fridge, microwave, ironing devices, slippers, dental/shaving sets in the bathroom - all that made the stay comfortable and the feeling of being taken care of. The room I was staying in had a courtyard view, so it was quiet. Reasonable choice of breakfast options (English, continental, ect), althought in the peak hours queueing in necessary (but it is well organised). I find location perfect

Great location, 5 minutes walk from Paddington station with access to all tube lines, 12 minutes walk to Hyde Park. Small but fully equipped rooms with A/C, microwave, teapot, small refrigerator, desk with US/EU/UK power outlets, dimmable lights in room and bathroom for nighttime comfort and safety, rain head shower, elevators to upper floor rooms. Very happy stay, even when room was assigned across the street to an extension of the main hotel.

Drains in shower and sink were slow, but I’m sure the hotel would be responsive on this … we just didn’t have the time to address this
