The room was very clean and looked very new. I was there for 4 nights and was very comfortable indeed. The staff was very polite and on arrival, I was shown to my room. Smart TV made it easy to relax and watch some films.

Not a major factor but because I was on the ground floor I could not open my blinds in the morning or people walking past would have been able to look in. The room could do with either some privacy glass or net curtains to allow light in. The pillows were a bit thin, but maybe that's a personal preference.

Helpful and attentive staff, especially reception. Cleaning staff were very careful not to disrupt us in any way, but kept the rooms very well looked after. Great location for Hyde Park area, but not on the main road so was quieter than I expected.

Reception area toilets were a bit unpleasant, didn't seem to work very well and sink was without a plug for handwashing. Room was rather small (but it was very well equipped). No food available on-site.

I booked the Elysee at very late notice, this was due to my original Hotel, cancelling my reservation after I had already arrived, I booked the Elysee at approximately 17:00 and arrived within the hour. Both Reception staff on duty were very helpful, as I was travelling with two children they showed me options of two rooms, so to ensure we could choose what would suit us best. The room was very modern, immaculately clean, the room temperature was good, we did not hear any noise disturbance whatsoever, the beds were comfortable and the room had all the essentials we required for a two night stay- soaps, a safe, tea/coffee making facilities, reading lights, a smart TV and a bonus was the large amount of plug sockets (always handy for charging multiple devices). There is a nice cosy seating area with a sofa and chairs in the reception area. The staff were so friendly, always making an effort to have a chat when coming and going from the hotel, something you do not get in larger hotels or Air B&B’s. The location is great, 7 minutes walk to Paddington station and around 5 minutes to Lancaster Gate station. Hyde Park is just across the road and there are many places to eat, drink & shop close by (highly recommend the Italian restaurant accross the road). We will absolutely be booking to stay here again.

The size of the twin room matches the description. Although it’s not particularly spacious, it was perfectly adequate and comfortable for my mother and me. I’m very satisfied with being able to book such a good-quality room at this price in London. The room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary facilities fully equipped — the bathroom as well. There was daily housekeeping, and the front desk staff were extremely friendly. We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but they cleaned the room in advance and kindly allowed us to check in early. The surrounding streets were very quiet, and the location was convenient for transport.

To me, the bed sheets did not appear to be changed daily. I noticed mine had some stains on it and the cleaning lady did not change it at all. Same for the pillows. The pillows were not changed at all. Only some basic ordering was done each day The bathroom looked clean Shower cabin :extremely small place due to the location. If you are overweight or over 182cm height you will not fit The kettle was not clean when i arrived Could use a mini fridge in the room The furniture is old and basic and needs repairs

The location of the hotel is amazing, and central line is 5 minutes away. The price was ok for London standards. The stuff was really friendly and helpful. The room was quite small for two people and the cleanliness was iffy. It wasn't dirty per se but above the little wardrobe was a ton of dust and also the inside of the toilet cabinets looked lquite dirty. If this is rectified it the place would be excellent. The rooms were also a little old but for the price I can't complain. We paid 205£ for two nights.

The staff were amazing! They accommodated our requests and went beyond to make sure that everything was convenient for us. The staff were welcoming and gave us a homey- feeling. They stored our food essentials for us and we're open to provide them at our convenience (even late at night), and stored our luggage after check-out without any time limit. The location is ideal, close by several stations within walking distance. There are many great and delicious restaurants to eat within the same street location. Overall, a highly recommendable hotel and where we would be more than happy to stay at again! Customer service 10/10!

The hotel is in an excellent location, the city center and all important attractions are within a 20-minute walk, the staff is very friendly and everything is very clean. I would especially like to praise the heating, which is excellent, as well as the quick action of the staff when we had a problem in the bathroom. The furniture is a little older, but for someone who came to visit the city, that is not so important, because everything is very neat and clean. Everything that was written in the description on the booking was followed, so 10 from me! Plus, the price is very affordable. 😊

The only thing I would complain about is the size of the room, which is more for one person than for a couple. But I think the room size varies from floor to floor. We had it on the top floor.

The front desk staff were very attentive and polite. The location was great-just an 8 minute walk to Paddington Station, which got us to most everywhere we needed. In the neighborhood, there was a convenience store for incidental needs, and many different types of restaurants with great food. The rooms were small, but that's to be expected. It was clean and had the basic necessities.

If I had to choose something, it would be the carpet in the rooms-would feel a bit cleaner without the carpet.

Got the room for a very good price so even though it was very compact, it had everything we needed including air con which is not easy to find in the smaller London hotels. The shower had great pressure and good hot water . Beds were clean and comfy, room lighting was excellent too. Room and bathroom were cleaned to a very good standard.. and I’m very fussy. It had a window that opened which was nice as well and the curtains were good block out ones. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.. and held our bags for us for quite a few hours the day we checked out which was much appreciated. Location was on a quiet road with a 24/7 store a few close metres away and a lovely deli, and a couple of very nice cafes. Would most definitely book again.

The Tv had really poor reception so couldn’t watch it. The reception area is a little run down plus the carpeting leading to the rooms, but is adequate for a budget hotel and has plenty of sofas and a large dining table. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives..
