Excellent location, easy access to transportation, clean, polite staff. Bathroom in great condition. Variety of in-room items (coffee tray, iron, etc.) Well organised property and building well kept. Stopped every day to smell the flowers at the lobby.

Since I booked the basic category, I understand that value for money has limitations. For a 3-star hotel comparing with other cities, I missed a fridge, and WiFi faced periodic lagging. By myself, I couldn't manage to get fresh air from the window, which really puzzled me. The safe could have been placed in a more convenient area. Breakfast included almost exclusively sweet offerings, and personally, I missed a hot plate. Though I stayed 4 nights, I spent a little in-room time, so the convenient location and the good condition of the facilities were sufficient for me.

The breakfast was perfect to start the day. We arrived very early in the morning, they let us have breakfast and stored our luggage. The hotel had lots of charm, and I enjoyed using the stairs. The location was perfect across the street from Hyde Park. The staff were friendly. The rooms and common area were very clean. The WiFi had a good signal.

There wasn't any air conditioning, which is fine. However, the floor fan provided didn't work very well for the size of the room. The rooms at the back are very quiet, and the window could be left open. However, our friends at the front of the hotel mentioned the street was very noisy.

Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day, there was complementary coffee/tea/cookies, the beds are extremely comfortable. There was also a working safe (large enough for laptop), hair-dryer, and iron. I booked the smallest available room and for a solo traveller who's short and traveling with a small suitcase the space is perfectly fine, but if you're tall or have lots of luggage you may want to consider other rooms. The breakfast was very good and the location is ideal for tourism, or even if you have a limited amount of time as it is very close to Kensington Gardens. Underground is <5 min away. Highly recommend this place.

An absolutely lovely gem of a hotel. The staff couldn't be more friendlier. We stayed in the suite at the top,, which was lovely and absolutely clean. Bed was really comfortable and the pillows were the best we''ve had in a hotel. Nice to have a fan in the room as we were in a heatwave 3/4 July, but fan provided could be upgraded a little. If you wanted to watch TV we would say that Netflix needs to be in the main seating area and not in the bedroom, or accessible in both rooms. We couldn't fault the hotel. Lovely access to Hyde Park and across the road from Kensington Gardens. We needed a base for BST Hyde Park and this was absolutely perfect. Would definitely use again and great value for money. Hotel was perfect for what we needed, it’s right opposite Hyde park and down the road from Lancaster Gate tube station. They provided a fan for the room, there was plenty of plug sockets, tea and coffee facilities, shower gel and soap provided, shower was good, wardrobe and hangers, ironing board! Breakfast catered to gluten free and dairy free which was also amazing as I wasn’t expecting it to. Absolutely brilliant

We were there in the middle of June, it was very hot, and whilst we had a fan it wasn’t great at keeping the room cool. The breakfast provided was continental which again was okay, but I don’t remember this being advertised so we were a little disappointed

The location was the major draw, so convient to the train station and bus stops. Beautiful park right across the street with access to the Italian Garden, Kensington palace, plenty of restaurants about. I also walked to Marble Arch. Just very convenient. My room 108 faced the street so there was a bit of noise however the room was cozy though small and served it's purpose as I was only in London for 2 nights for the Beyoncé concert. The breakfast option continental served it's purpose just to have a bite to get the day started.

Not much honestly, I guess just the fact that i could hear a bit of street noise. I would stay here again, it's basic but cozy clean and affordable for that location.

The location for Hyde Park as we were attending a concert there. But it’s within walking distance of Oxford street (if you don’t mind walking) & 2 mins from Lancaster Gate station on the central line. Nice size room as we were in a family room. Comfy bed but there is no air con. You can open the windows though. The bathroom is a bit dated but the shower is good. And there was a complimentary bottle of water for each person. A good quality, selection of continental breakfast. And the takeaway coffee from reception is very nice and very reasonably priced (especially for London) The 2 members of staff I dealt with were polite and helpful.

There was nothing to dislike about it.

Location was fabulous, minutes from the tube and opposite the Italian gardens. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room had everything I needed and breakfast was plentiful.

Only issues was the surfaces and tea tray was dusty so I rinsed mugs before use and I didn’t like someone banging on my door at 10am reminding me check out was at 11am when I was well aware. I was happy and relaxed in the room and was actually ready to be leaving soon. The man banging on my door when I wasn’t late out was stressful and made me unnecessarily anxious. It was almost a perfect stay and I would have scored the hotel higher if it wasn’t for him. Maybe wait and knock the door if people are late checking out or have asked for a reminder moving forward.

Location was perfect for our needs. The room was clean and had a nice view of Hyde Park. Close to transit. Breakfasts were excellent.

The weather was hot and our room took in the afternoon sun. There was only a double glassed door (no windows) to a small patio that was not private so keeping the door open at night was not an option. The fan that was provided did not work. To be fair we did not ask for a replacement which would likely have been provided.

What makes this little hotel special is the staff: Vittorio and Sam couldn't be nicer. Everyone was so helpful. The location couldn't be better. It's safe, beautiful, and with easy access to buses and the subway. The room was pleasant, quiet, and very clean. It's my second stay at Hotel 63, and I will be back.

Please, have the brewed coffee every day. The breakfast was excellent, but the pot of brewed coffee was not available after the second day. And the coffee machine had some options out of order.
