We find the location great, due to being near the train station. It's great value for money. The staff are all lovely and the hotel is clean and has good energy. We've stayed here in particularly as it's closed to Warner bros studios and it's nice seeing kids excited about their day ahead.

We've stayed here a few times and the beds have always been comfortable, but on this occasion it really wasn't and neither me or my hubby slept well. Also breakfast is very nice, just as a vegan, it'd be nice to have a couple of vegan sausages to go next to my hash browns :) but your milk alternatives are fantastic and a big plus for having oatly barista.

My twelve year old daughter and I stayed two nights here as we were booked to spend a full day at the Warner Bros Studio tour. I had booked this hotel mainly for it's proximity to the to bus depot at Watford junction train station and for this it was an absolutely excellent location, being only a 3 minute walk to the bus. What I really hadn't expected, and what really made our stay was the exceptional helpfulness and friendliness of the staff! They were extremely professional and elevated our stay from a very nice basic stay to throughly enjoyable. I can't commend them enough. I had intended that we would eat both nights in the hotel. Unfortunately, the first night, the restaurant was closed for maintenance but on the second night, the food was super. My daughter ordered the pizza and it was particularly good. We did find the air conditioning system to be extremely loud in our bedroom which was unfortunate as we didn’t sleep very well on the first night. However, on mentioning it to staff, it was turned off and they were very apologetic about something which clearly seems to just be general maintenance issue in some rooms. We had a great sleep that night. All in all, the hotel was ideal for our needs on this short trip, with very comfortable beds and a good breakfast but again, the main reason I give this hotel a high rating is for their wonderful staff. Loud air conditioning unit in the bedroom

On arrival we were met with a warm and friendly smile by Hossein who welcomed us booked us in explained what time dinner was breakfast, how the parking worked what time the bar would be open to, including our check out time, should we need anything we only need to ask. Bebitha was very friendly when taking our dinner order she explained our menu for us very helpful.

I did look for a bible to read, I thought all hotels carried one. I didn't find one Breakfast was great lots to choose from. Meat option was bacon and sausages meat we don't eat pork. There was not alternative. We still enjoyed ourselves and breakfast.

The hotel was simply wonderful for a last minute booking . The staff were excellent, kind, approachable. The breakfast was great and such a wonderful surprise as they also had GLUTEN FREE and DAIRY free options which is a plus having allergies and it was all included in the price! The hotel parking was straight forward about £7 for the night and there's a pay and display at the back if the few spot get full up. Watford Junction is just next door, but cannot hear the trains from the rooms. The kids were happy and so were we. Thank you all! :-)

Accommodation and de-accommodation without problems. You can leave your luggage in the luggage room. Wifi coverage fine. Cleanliness of rooms good. Breakfast Mon-Fri 6:30-9:30 a.m., weekends 7:30-10:30 a.m. Location to the Watford Junction railway is amazing.

Breakfasts could be more varied. I understand that these are typical English breakfasts, but of the vegetables there were only boiled tomatoes and beans. There is no cheese or ham (only fried bacon), also only bread in the sweet variant (with jam, nutella) or with butter come into play (I had the opportunity to eat in another hotel of the same group in another country so I have a comparison).

Super clean, very comfortable, with every need taken care of. Thanks to the double glazed windows plus an extra secondary sliding window inside, any train noise was eliminated, meaning peaceful nights. Breakfast choices were plentiful with a 3 hour time span in which to have it. Parking charges are very reasonable and we had no trouble finding a space. There are lots of places nearby to eat in the evening and it's very close to the Harry Potter shuttle bus just outside the train station which was the sole purpose of the stay.

Couldnt fault this hotel It was so central to where we wanted to go (HP Studios) literally a 10 min drive away! The room was spacious and comfy and clean and the bed was mega comfy! A BIG Shout out to the night manager as he was extremely helpful to us we got back late from the HP Studios and no parking! He went out of his way to find us a parking spot which we really appreciated a huge Thank You to him. Breakfast was lovely, everything you like was there. The sausages were great!!

I properly would say about the parking not enough of it!

The location is great just next to Watford junction station, perfect to get into the city and for Harry Potter studios, it was a 3 minute walk to get there which we really enjoyed. The breakfast included every morning really helped for fuelling up each day, kept us full until dinner most days! The staff were nice friendly, and attentive, cleaning plates away and keeping the downstairs area very tidy.

The only issues we really experienced was the ac/heat in the room, it didn’t seem to warm up and only blow out cold air the entire time, which was a little disappointing. The bed was comfortable, however my bed light wasn’t working which was sometimes a little frustrating. While breakfast is good, the only thing I didn’t like is that there were no vegetarian options for the sausages and bacon, which I think really should be now as many people do prefer vegetarian. But overall good, the parking needs to be a little better, it is tight, and at the moment they’re having building works which makes it harder

Breakfast was good considering how small the serving area was. Location was easy to get to and right next to the train station. Rooms was of a decent standard, clean and tidy.

Thought the evening food was a bit pricey, but the portions were of a good size and decent quality so can kind of understand the cost. The car park at the back is quite small (approx 15 spaces) and not as secure as I would have liked, we were lucky to get parked when we arrived (3pm) as later in the evening there were no spaces left. There is a car park the other side of the train track though and some street parking.

Excellent hosts at reception who double up as bar / restaurant servers. Lighting throughout the hotel and rooms are creative and vibrant. Nice touch for the blue light in the bathroom, so it's not as bright when using it during the night. The shower was pleasant. Comfy bed and sofa. Food served in the evening was tasty and a nice spread for breakfast too.

Only negatives for me would be the rooms weren't quite as soundproofed as I'd like as I could hear people moving about in the room above, trains outside (however the location is next to the train station, so I'm not docking this in the points for review) and the doors slamming shut was irritating. Would be good if something could be done to have the doors close quieter as most people aren't considerate enough to close their doors gently. Lastly, the carpets are looking a little worn and used and need heavily cleaning or ideally replacing in the room (502 in particular) and the stairwell.
