Me and my family had the most incredible 10-night stay at the Metropolitan hotel, and it was an experience we’ll never forget! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. We checked it earlier than we expected the staff Yuki and Meena made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and quick check-in process. They went out of their way to assist us and got us a room as quick as they can. The room was clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained. I would like to say a huge thanks to Yuki she really made us feel at home and her service was excellent and she was super welcoming. Me, my husband and my kids especially my daughter were very fond of her service and she went above and beyond to assist us. She really made my daughter’s birthday special and I don’t think she’ll ever forget that experience. Thanks to her if we visit Dubai again we will be coming to stay at Metropolitan hotel and recommending the hotel to all our friends and family. I would also like to give thanks to Manager: Mr Anir and Captain: Jijith and all the other staff Anju, Rahma, Rumene, Joanna, Christian, Caroline, Erika and Honey for their outstanding customer service. Whenever I came to eat with my family for breakfast they were exceptional — so polite, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The staff were very attentive and friendly, ensuring a warm welcome and great hospitality. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options suitable for adults and kids. There were times during my stay when I had to order room service or required assistance. Caroline was very prompt with her service and went out of her way to help us and she’s incredibly welcoming and always ready to help. I would also like to mention I had an amazing time using the courtyard downstairs. Whenever I felt like going for a quick break and indulging in a hot drink and enjoying Sheesha.

Everything was superb

I had an amazing and unforgettable stay at the Metropolitan Hotel in Dubai! The staff were so kind and helpful — really made me feel welcome. A big thank you to Esther, the manager, who was just fantastic, and to Lorraine, our server at the restaurant — she was friendly, attentive, and always smiling! The food was absolutely delicious — the breakfast buffet had so much variety, and dinner was just as impressive. The pool area was great too: there’s a pool for adults, a smaller one for kids, a bar, and great music playing. Everyone, kids and adults alike, had a blast! I’d definitely come back here without thinking twice. They even offer a free shuttle to the beach and nearby malls, which was super convenient. There is also a dedicated place where you can smoke chicha (we are not smokers but it’s always good that everyone find his interest). The location is also perfect — close to the beach, Downtown, and the Marina, all within 10 minutes. I truly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai.

This is a nice hotel. I got a massive discount of more than 50-percent, which truthfully is the main reason I stayed here. The staff seems to be overworked and it reflects in their performance. The room is nice. The rooftop pool and views are great. The buffet breakfast was vey good. Dubai is a massive city so it can be tough to pick where to stay. This is a good location for Dubai Marina and nearby areas. However, the metro isn't very far (15 minute walk). And, of course, taxis/careem/uber are helpful to get around. I would stay here again.

Everything is as good as normal

The booking situation via Booking. com. On the way to the hotel we heard that we had to be back in Muscat a day earlier than expected. We told them this on arrival, and the very helpful staff said there was no problem, but this had to be authorised by Booking.Com. This proved IMPOSSIBLE ,all we got from Booking. com customer service was "Contact the hotel direct", We had to forfit our third night because of the ineffiency of Booking.Com website, We in future will book with the Hotel direct it will be much easier.

I rarely stay in a 4-star hotel so this was a real treat; you realise it is not just the superior decor and fittings and dining areas and the pool that make it an outstanding experience - it is also the calibre of the staff. From the moment I entered the lobby I was attended to by first class concierges and porters to a friendly reception attendant and then shown my room where even the cleaning staff give a cheery hello in the corridor. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai

The shuttle bus to the beach and city is not often enough and because the train station is 1km walk away it needs a frequent shuttle bus for that even.

I am usually very fussy about the hotels and never leave reviews but to my surprise this was but a great place. The positives were: 1) All staff were very polite and helpful especially osama and waqar from reception and michael from concierge. 2) The place was very clean 3) There was a great variety of foods in breakfast buffet 4) It was a very family friendly hotel e.g. the food options, swimming pool, Tv channels 5) The location was awesome- only minutes away from local amenities and places such dubai mall, jumairah beach etc 6) The price was affordable and worth the money

The staff were extremely helpful. Kamal guided us very well and gave us good dates. The concierge services were extremely efficient and all the staff attended to all our needs in timely manner.

Considering the hotel only has two floors the windows should be cleaned.

The location was super convenient easy access to downtown and major attractions. The lobby and common areas were beautifully maintained, and the check-in process was smooth and professional. The staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay

The room could use some soundproofing .We could hear noise from the hallway and nearby rooms at night. Also, the furniture is outdates. Needs for more refurbished and improvement.

Having stayed here before I knew what I was expecting. Great spacious hotel, no frills and very comfortable. Would defo stay again - price dependant. Great location for my needs, perfectly placed between downtown and marina.

Newbies to Dubai are unlikely to like location, you will need a taxi to everywhere you’re likely to go - but that’s nothing unusual for most Dubai hotel locations.

Good location, 5-7 minutes from the beach (taxi). Clean rooms, all needed thing (incl. tea) included. There is bar & Italian restaurant in it.

Sometimes it was difficult to set air conditioning, with the same set temperature it was either too hot or too cold. Also breakfasts are not diverse, small selection in comparison with other hotels I tried here.
