I recently stayed at Citymax Hotel at the mall for few nights and had an overall good experience. The location is just a short walking distance from Mall of the Emirates; ideal for shopping, dining, quick Dubai metro access & taxi pickup. Check in was quick, the room is clean and well maintained. Reception staff Mahmoud was helpful, I made a special request for a non-smoking room on the highest floor possible, and I was happy to see that it was accommodated.

The room size is very small with a relatively small leg room to move. The mini bar does not keep cooling once the main room key is disconnected which was really an issue to me. I paid 5 dirhams twice to room service for a bucket of ice which elsewhere is complimentary. After one day of arrival they started to renovate the rooms on the floor I was on but luckily I was there on business and was out most of the day so there was no noise at night. The room key was deactivated the morning of checkout; tried to access the room at 11:57am after having my breakfast and I was unable to access the room to remove my luggage for checkout, although checkout policy is at 12 noon. This really made me upset as I had to go down to reception desk again to get a new room key to remove my luggage.

1. Can be a little bit noisy. 2. I think the rooms are kind of small 3. If it can be a little bit cheaper due to the room size to be perfect choice for people looking for a good hotel on a budget.

Located near the Mall of the Emirates, the room and bed are very clean. Helpful staff and good Internet connection.

The area is very busy 24 hours, and the windows are not properly isolated, I used ear plugs to sleep in room 1005. The lobby is very small compared to the number of rooms, always crowded and no way to have a seat or to meet someone there.

The hotel is really close to the Mall 5 mins walking distance. We arrived very late around 21:00pm however we were not expecting to be a wow stay as we booked for 1 night only however when we arrived Maya from reception welcomed us with a smile and she was very kind and generous to give us LCO until 15:00pm even without asking. I would like to thank Hsk who decorated our room with balloons and did towel art. Overall it was a short and good stay.

We asked for water bottle and we were told by the reception team that it's our departure day so we will not get any kind of service. Giving 1 water bottle will not make any difference we were still inhouse and were checking out at 3!!!

> Front desk staff (Bianca and Sabah) were both very friendly & supportive making our check-in process really easy > Citymax is always my go-to place whenever I am in Dubai on short visits (I've been staying in this facility since 2016) > Located in a central location, you have a number of cool attractions close by at walking distance (restaurants, spas, supermarkets, gift shops etc.) > Rooms are small but cozy given its a budget hotel. All rooms are filled with all necessary elements (LED, refrigerator, open closet, washrooms with toiletries etc.)

> In the washroom, the bathing area should have a high boundary to avoid the bathing water from going outside > The refrigerator had some malfunctioning which had to be rectified > Basement parking is a bit too tight so drivers need to be careful when parking inside > High So bar is nice but the bar tender isn't able to make strong drinks. High prices for menu drinks yet they don't meet the requirements

citymax is becoming like my second home in dubai , whenever i think of going to dubai for a quick visit for 4 or 5 days , i never burden myself with any accommodation issues , i know trustfully Citymax at the mall is the best comfortable place to stay in despite all the heavy traffic and the super crowded situation , it remains the best for me at least coz its less than 1 mn walk to the MOE and super accessible to the Metro and when you have the gold card , nothing will be much easier for transportation , the breakfast is wow -> super varieties of everything and it changes everyday , spacious place to sit and have a nice cozy breakfast ... the staffs are super friendly

Nothing i didnt like at citymax at the mall Barsha area im trying to find a gap , but no im not gonna talk about issues that worth nothing on the scale out of 10 -> i give it 10

This is usama from Pakistan this was my first time travelling outside the country and i always wanted to live in a hotel like City Max meet all my requirements Location is so amazing everything is just near by Staff is so friendly and helpful Specially Miss Shashi she’s always been super nice no hidden or extra charges all basic facilities provided inside the hotel I would love to live in citymax again whenever i will travel yo dubai in future thank you citymax you made my day highly recommended

Staff were exceptional in terms of their helpfulness and demeanor. They were always ready to assist and greeted guests with warm smiles, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the property. the hotel's location was a major advantage is conveniently situated within walking distance of the Mall of the Emirates and the metro station. This made it incredibly convenient to explore the city and access various attractions, shopping opportunities, and transportation options.

my disappointment with the standard room provided as someone traveling with my wife and a 2-year-old baby, the lack of adequate space to store our belongings was a significant inconvenience. The room felt overly cramped, making it challenging to find suitable storage options for our luggage and other personal items.

(1) The Best about this hotel is the "location" it is a 1-2 minute walk to the Emirates Mall entrance with rich food court and a lot to do. Also, the area is full of local budget restaurants and mini markets that can deliver free to your room on the phone. the same hotel has a modest nice nightclub if you want to chill and know new people underneath your room in case you are lazy sometimes to travel to another neighborhood. (2) Staff are excellent always greet you with a smile and ready to help in a blink of an eye. Especial thanks to the wonderful security staff named "Fredrik" who was far beyond helpful, professional, and friendly. Though don't remember all of the staff names, all of them were excellent. (3) if you seek long stay, They do have rooms with cheaper rates for one month or more. Besides they have hotel apartments on another building on the back street (Not same building) and operate under another name (but same company) called "City Stay"

(1) Me and a friend had a twin bedroom with a back view. All their front view is only a double bed. So, we couldn't enjoy the nice front view. (2) Breakfast was almost the same every day, not tasty, and not worth it. Local exotic budget restaurants around the hotel would be much nicer.
