Our stay on the Queen Elizabeth 2 in Dubai was a truly memorable experience. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The egg station was a definite highlight – freshly made and delicious every morning. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, making us feel well looked after throughout our stay. A special thank you to Megan, who took the time to explain everything about our stay and suggest activities to make the most of our time onboard. Her helpfulness really added a personal touch to our visit. We also had the pleasure of joining a tour with Craig, who is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also very funny – his entertaining style made the tour both informative and fun.
One suggestion for improvement would be the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the ship. While the historical charm of the QE2 is impressive, some areas could benefit from a little more attention and upkeep to truly shine.

If you want to experience an amazing hotel that is stunning in every detail, go to this hotel. the staff is amazing, helpful and smiling. I stayed for 4 days, everything was great, clean, organised, calm, quiet. the room size is fair enough. the breakfast is various. it is an experience you wouldnt want to miss. the history is here, and you feel the connection to the history of the ship. also, things are new, not old, no wear and tear except the authentic that must be. hot water is good, free water coffee and tea everyday. many elevators.
wifi not at best nearest metro is 10 min walk nearest market is 10 min walk no free shuttle to airportnlike other hotels you can hear your neighbors a little from walls no slippers

It’s a pleasure to step aboard this legendary vessel it feels like a journey back in time, and I’m so pleased the rich history of this British icon has been preserved and saved. Well done all concerned. Love the thearter and the team behind it are putting on amazing acts and shows they are doing an amazing job, surly your biggest asset? Also, the staff and customer service throughout the ship, is amazing, world class. Well done with your recruitment and training. I also love the antique décor, and nostalgia and old-world charm. I would suggest a lot more of the antique décor, and nostalgia, let this theme run though out the ship especially in the cabins. The modern paintings and art feels somewhat forced and out of place. For example, why have modern paintings in cabins It seems pointless trying to make it new. I would suggest old posters, photographs and objects in all the cabins. Also do we really need a TV I know it’s standard, in hotel rooms but it seems so out of place. Or if we do need a to let’s have a looped documentary of the ships story. On the whole, this is an amazing experience and extremely reasonable compared with other hotels in Dubai, but keep it old, don’t make it modern more more nostalgia, please.

The officer's cabin was comfortable and a good shower and bathroom. The QE2 is an icon and very special to be on.
Most of the ship was closed/empty, it was like a ghost ship on some decks. There were no shops or entertainment and the pub was really lacking in atmosphere. Only one restaurant providing a really mediocre buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was disappointing. A long waiting time at check-in and we didn't get access to our room until 5pm, having waited since 10am Ye. The hotel had been full the night before, so maybe understandable but still the long wait was unfortunate. The ship's tour did not include interesting areas such as the engine room and bridge and outside decks were under utilized.

Originally from Britain the novelty of staying on such an iconic liner was fascinating to me and eventually once I found my way around the alleyways of the boat thoroughly enjoyed it. Cabins very comfortable and the food options decent with buffet and an ala cart restaurant on deck
Took a while to find everything and get used to it. Location a bit out of the way with the traffic at times and I did not like Not being able to have a credit card auth taken so I could add things to my room. I did not need breakfast in my last morning because Of flight times but I had already paid at reception. Refund will take Up To 5 weeks.. very poor

The QE2 is a floating hotel and museum. It's a really interesting and fascinating experience especially when you learn about the history of the ship itself. The bars and restaurants are really good and you're able to explore the ship freely. If you know more about the lore of the ship as to why it came to Dubai, it's definitely one for the adventurers. It's also nearby Al Ghubaiba where there is a mall and metro station and Port Rashid. You're also in good company as others staying on the ship are also interested in the history of it.
The only thing that it didn't really have was a supermarket nearby (other than the small shop in the reception area). It's also on a port which is being redeveloped so walking around it is a bit of a challenge, especially during the summer.

The history of the ship and the cleanliness
There is this Indian woman working there. Who is prioritizing only Indian guests. I was already seated on the table near the window and i was asked to move to other table saying someone will be sitting there.

I had the Captains room which had been recently(?) renovated and was exceptional. Check in was quick and easy and the concierge staff were very helpful as this is a massive ship to navigate The quality and choice at Breakfast was exceptional The bar and staff were very good Being able to roam (relatively freely) around this old queen was a fantastic experience. We will definitely stay again
The Outside fabric of the ship is suffering a little but it is a huge space to maintain. This did not affect our stay and is purely an observation

This is a legendary vessel and a unique place to stay. A little bit remote from places of interest, but itself is worth a discovery. Very satisfied to spend a night there and to wander around during the day. Some parts of the ship are in process of renovation. Some remain untouched. If you know the history of the ship, you'll love to stay onboard. Photos by Diplosophy.
Would not recommend for families with small children, but can be a romantic hotel for short stay for married couples.

It was The QE2, the most famous liner of her age; literally floating history. Cabin was clean and the bed probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The bathroom has an actual bath, which is a nice touch in a cabin of this size. Courtesy shuttle into town, which is best booked the day before Staff very helpful, especially the concierge. Lido restaurant provides a good buffet.
There was quite a bit of renovation work going, with much of the ship closed off. I do realise that we stayed at the end of the season, and a ship of this age requires maintenance to keep her looking her best. The port is a bit of a hike from town; typical taxi fare is 30-35 dhirams (6 or 7 UK pounds), if you miss the shuttle bus.
