The Collingwood is very good for public transport services, both bus and tram. In addition there is a tram stop adjacent to the train station. If you are not using a car this makes for very little effort to carry suitcases etc. The hotel was very quiet eventhough fully occupied. I felt welcomed on arrival with Franco explaining everything to me. I was very pleasantly surprised to obtain a double bed for single occupancy. This can be very hard to obtain. In addition, there was an option for a cooked breakfast . The breakfast was very good value for money and cooked individually, not kept warm under heat lamps. Thank you to all the family.

How clean everything was. Set in the quieter part of Blackpool for those that prefer to get away from it all. Franco is very hospital and friendly and takes great pride in his business. Everything was immaculate, excellent service and facilities. I was a little worried about my stay in Blackpool due to the reputation the area has for having a big drinking culture but all my worries vanished immediately when I entered the B&B. We were greeted with a warm welcome and lovely clean accommodation. We had breakfast on the Saturday which was delicious and heart value. Highly recommend.

Nothing, everything was good.

Decent sized room and bed. The bed was comfy. The room was nice and clean. Small En suite shower room and sink but it was ok and I'm a big fella. Soap was provided by the sink. Clean towels a bit small but fine. I didn't try the coffee but they had Tetley tea bags. Breakfast was sausage bacon beans mushroom tomato and toast with tea or coffee. Cereals and apple/orange juice were available. Friendly hosts. Overall a great stay. Excellent value for money. I would recommend and certainly stay again.

Really clean and comfortable hotel. Food was excellent. Room was really good size and immaculate. Easy access and good parking. Everything you needed for a perfect stay was available, hairdryer, toiletries, towels, tea/coffee making facilities. Ideally located, tram/bus stops 2 minutes walk, lovely quiet area away from all the hustle and bustle in main area of Blackpool yet plenty of places to go if you want a night out. Franco, the proprietor, is brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for him. Makes you feel so welcome right from your arrival. Highly recommend Collingwood hotel. 5* in every way.

Nothing to dislike

Franco & Family were Lovely and made us feel like one of the family, Food was great too, rooms clean, and beds really comfortable,, nothing to much trouble for Franco & Family, For the price you pay it's. Really good hotel Malcolm & Michael Lamont. 4 Star rating.

No lift , stairs are not wide for large cases, Some rooms the en suite shower bathroom's Are quite cramped,for a large person ,but very clean , Which is why it doesn't get 5, Stars.

On arrival we was greeted and was able to access our room straight away, the room was spotless clean through out with every thing needed . Breakfast was excellent served hot and was good to start the day. We also took our 2 yr old grandson with us who was made welcome. This is a very nice well run hotel and will stay here again on future visits to Blackpool.

There was nothing to dislike

Everything was good 10 out of 10 from me, Franco was very welcoming, and also informative as well, nice manners, also his wife was very nice and pleasant when i went for breakfast, my room was very bright and clean, breakfast was excellent and filling.

To many stairs to my room, thats the only fault, but my knees are not good and it was hard for me going up and down the stairs three or four times a day. Everything else was great.

It walk fine one thing that would put sone people off was the litter outside the hotel. Not down to them but it did look messy

Couldn't ask more from the hotel. A exceptionally friendly welcome from Franco, who couldn't do enough for me including offering to make me breakfast early on Sunday morning as I had a train to catch. Great location for catching the tram and bus, and it's a nice stroll into town for fitter people.

Nothing really. The room was dated, but this is a project for Franco, and he'd done a great job in redecoration of the lounge and breakfast room.

The hotel was very clean and the owner very friendly. I had a double room, which was quite spacious. The breakfast was very generous.

The hotel is about 20 minutes walk to the centre of town, so if you are not a great walker, then there is a tram stop nearby.
