I liked overall experience, breakfast was English and you could have yogurts, coffee, tea, fruit, toast and marmalade and then English breakfast, room was clean, tiny and we could smell breakfast every morning from kitchen, but in general English houses and rooms are small, it was clean and tidy and they clean and change bedsheets if you there more then 4nights... Owners was friendly and helpful. If we will ever come again we will defo stay in Guilderoy Hotel because old fashion style over there is magic...warmly recommending and is good value for money

the bed was comphy nice and clean rohna was always seeing to breakfast tyding up making surewe enjoyed the food breakfast was amazing tea coffee dif cereals all kellofs orange and apple juce freshe fruit youghurts and cooked breakfast cumberland sausage no cheap food her husband we didnt see much he done all the cooking and kept the kitchen clean a lovley couple

nothing everything was great for the money would recomend to others im bad at walking they have 2electric seats that take you up and down the stairs it was a basic room but was nice the hand rail outside was off he ordred a new one and put it on as i need something to hold on to when sing the stairs

Everything in this hotel was amazing. I had such an amazing breakfast, lovely beds with a TV, bathroom with showers were lovely. Simon and Rhona were such nice kind people who really welcomed me and Christina in Blackpool. They are the nicest Hosts I have ever met. We will defiantly come back in the future. The lounge and breakfast room looks beautiful with all the nice pictures of different cultures around the world. The prices included the breakfast was a fantastic bargain. I felt like I was home. Best hotel in the UK I have ever visited.

The hosts were excellent very friendly, the breakfast was great made with high quality products very tasty and plenty of choice and all cooked fresh.

My room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. It did however have a non smoking sign on the table but on entering the room the smell of cigarette smoke was overpoweringly, previous occupants had obviously been smoking in there. I could have complained and asked to be moved but as there only a couple of nights I put up with the smell. It was a shame as this was the only thing that would stop me booking in there again.

We stayed at the new Guilderoy hotel from the 4th-6th April I booked two rooms the rooms were budget rooms but a very comfy stay the owners were very welcoming and nothing was much trouble for them the hotel is in a lovely quiet place the breakfast was delicious with a menu each morning at your table for you too order from fresh juice daily different breads for toast all preserves at your table from jam too marmalade fresh fruit yoghurt too Also choose from all in all was a fantastic stay and definitely will be going back for sure

the photos so not do the decor justice! there were 9 of us with an age range of 23-32. we were all so inlove with the decor and overall feel of the building. the lounge area is absolutely stunning! was perfect for a couple of nights away. we were all here for my wedding and Rhonda looked after us so well! you can tell the owners genuinely enjoy what they do. The breakfast was outstanding, the bacon was so thick and just presented so well-the only thing was, there wasn't an options for mushrooms..I do love some mushrooms on a full English! Room size isn't great if you're over-packers like us! we will never learn haha! but each room had so much character. It is the first place we've stayed with a mini fridge to store you're own drinks & provided a biscoff biscuit for the coffees in the room.. it's the little things guys! whilst we've never stayed this far in the north it hasn't put us off staying again. tram stops around a 5 min walk which gets you down to town in no time. corner shops a couple mins walk.

whilst there was obvious cosmetic issues, few cracks here and there with a few bits of flakey wallpaper- you do have to go searching to find these issues(we did "search" for the issues as we couldn't understand how the B&B only had 2 stars), that really did not change the experience we had. the hospitality sure made up for it.

Simon and Rhonda were excellent hosts. The nicest hoteliers I have ever met actually! This isn’t just hyperbole. They were extremely friendly, kind and welcoming and allowed me to check-in 5 hours early. I was staying there for an interview with a nearby company and had to wait for a taxi outside to the company and the taxi was a couple of minutes late, but Simon came out with a coat for me and offered to take me to the company in his own car even though they were still busy doing breakfasts at that time. The rooms in the hotel were very nice and the beds were warm and comfy. The hotel was done in a traditional style, but they had many Asian ornaments and artifacts on display from their travels around the world in their past. They are very nice conversationalists with interesting stories of their traveling exploits and the English breakfast they serve is second to none! Extremely highly recommended.

I truly have nothing bad to say about them, their hotel and the whole experience of staying there. They are lovely.

Simon and Rhona are exceptional hosts, the hotel and rooms are all very clean and comfortable, breakfast is cooked fresh every morning by Simon with quality products and sets you up for the day and with plenty of other choices. Wi-Fi works great in the rooms and you even get a fridge allowing you to store drinks etc. It is street parking but plenty of it all around the hotel. Stayed a couple of times now and it will always be my first choice when I visit Blackpool.

I’ve just got back from a lovely long weekend of 3 nights with the wonderful hosts Simon and Rhona. Where do I start! I’d booked to stay and see friends who were visiting the area and was quite wary because I’ve never stayed in a Blackpool B&B, and there certainly are some ‘interesting’ places. I booked for the location which is slightly out of town but I didn’t want to be right in the hustle and bustle. The good news is being away from the town centre means free on-road parking and I was able to park (nearly) straight outside! The accommodation itself is very welcoming and secure as a key is needed to enter at all times. On the ground floor is a lounge / seating area which can be used by guests and a small food room where takeaways can be brought back. Breakfast is served in a dining room also on the ground floor and was super! Freshly cooked to order and plentiful juice, cereals, tea & coffee as well. I stayed in the ‘small double’ room which was on the top floor and absolutely fine for myself. The room was cosy, bed was comfy and shower nice and warm! There is free tea / coffee in the room and this can be topped up yourself from provisions downstairs as for stays under 4 nights the hosts do not interrupt you. Simon & Rhona were so welcoming from the moment I arrived right through to departure. Affable and chatty without being intrusive! Would definitely stay again.

Booked a weekend break for myself and partner to attend a family wedding. Very friendly owners who did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. Hotel offered everything needed, WiFi, mini fridge in room, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, towels and toiletries. Room was very comfortable and just what we needed for the base of out stay. Breakfast was very impressive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Price was very reasonable especially for what we received. I do visit Blackpool a couple of times per year and would definitely return here. Thank you for your hospitality 😀😀
