Don't like the tea and coffee in rooms , always bring our own. And the lifts are to small you have a long wait for them . Other than that a enjoyable stay

The location was good, staff were very helpful. Hotel room was clean and had a bath in our room. Really enjoyed our stay. Would definitively recommend.

Room could do with a bit of an update.

Good location for seeing illuminations. On tram route for ready access to town. Also walked in - about 20 mins. Was there on a dancing weekend. Food was self- service reasonable choice at evening meal. Good selection at breakfast. Both meals piping hot. Staff very pleasant throughout hotel. Bar prices reasonable. Good parking. Ironing board and iron in room a definite plus. Plenty of tea/coffee/milk available at reception. Just across road from beach.

Bedroom was a bit small but clean and functional. Shower a bit erratic temperature wise. Only 1 lift to service whole hotel. We are reasonably fit so stairs not a problem but could be for 'not so nimble'.

After reading the reviews I was very sceptical but try it yourself you will definitely be surprised , we wasn’t disappointed at all , yes it does need updating but for £117 for 6 adults , 3 rooms for 1 night it was fantastic value , rooms were clean , tidy and comfortable with everything you needed The staff we saw were friendly, the bar is very reasonably priced , we had a lovely stay , would we go again yes definitely

Only downside I did ask if we could have our 3 rooms close to one another because I have health issues and my family look after me , unfortunately we didn’t get that we had 1 room on all of the 3 floors but we managed so it wasn’t a big issue

The room ok as was the bed. The food was good. The staff were very efficient and helpful.

Our room was on the landing and we hardly slept due to the singing in the main function room. It only had one volume and that was louder than loud. This didn't finish till 12am then we had drunk people trying to get up the stairs. You might as well have put our beds in with the line dancing event. This was the only thing that spoilt our stay. It would have made more sense to put someone from that party in our room. What a shame!!

The hotel is very easy to find with a carpark to the front of the building and free on road parking around the side if required, there is also a very large pay and display carpark available as a last resort, it is overlooking the roundabout at Gynn Square, and is 1.3 miles from the Tower but there are trams and busses running past the hotel on a regular basis. The Reception staff were out of this world and made us all feel welcome. We arrived about 12.00, as the rooms weren't available until 15.00 and we were advised that we could use the hotel facilities while we waited, no drinks available though, there was a coffee machine but no cups, there was a cold drinks vending machine next to reception (£2.40 for a bottle of water). When we arrived in the rooms 214 was smaller than room 217 but both with double beds, En-Suite, TV and Tea/Coffee making facilities in both rooms, I tried to close the window due to blustery winds (217), the key was missing from the lock but they immediately replaced the handle and locking mechanism with no fuss. The breakfast was exceptional, it was a Buffet style breakfast with loads of adequate seating space, everything that we all could expect. We`re not vegetarians so can`t comment on this, I didn`t see any kippers or porridge but I`ve no doubt that they would have fulfilled any requests, there is an automatic Toaster and are Coffee/Tea/Hot Water Machines. The chef was an absolute delight and fun to be around, he really did make us all feel welcome, we all enjoyed everything on offer. If you go to this hotel, we strongly recommend the evening meal, it was £17.50 each but it was a 3 course buffet style meal where you could eat as much as you wanted, I had the Spicy (not too much Spice) cauliflower soup, there was a choice of Roast beef, Fish Cakes and Cauliflower Cheese Bake with all the usual vegetables and gravy etc. I also had the Jam Roly Poly with Custard, mmmm Delicious.

The décor room and the Conservatory overlooking Gynn Square just needs a little tidying up but apart from that, the hotel is absolutely brilliant. Make hot drinks available when you arrive at the hotel.

The Savoy was excellent value for money even though it was the Blackpool Airshow weekend. Its location is right next to the beach. The lady on reception was really helpful and gave us our favourite room.

The pillows were uncomfortable because they are too thick. The mattress was showing its age. Some springs could be felt. No WiFi could be received in the room. Water was left In the kettle and there was a hair grip on the carpet from a previous occupant.

Staff helpful and friendly. Room clean and fresh. Bar prices good and breakfast exceptional

Only 1 choice of no/low alcohol drinks meaning I could only have either j20 or the usual coke, lemonade ect. Some like myself can't drink alcohol for various reasons and unfortunately Heineken zero reacts with my meds so more choice would be fantastic. Although beyond staffs control, interrupted sleep in early hours due to an inconsiderate patron causing damage to fire alarm. The shower could do with upgrading and a grab rail for when climbing out of the bath.
