The hotel and the setting was lovely. The food was delicious with good sized portions, plenty of selection when it came to drinks as well. The room was a good size and the beds were comfy. Having a bunk bed in the family room was great.

Parking is great, super easy to check in with friendly staff. The room is clean and styled well, beds are comfy and I've never heard any loud noises. All facilities are great - especially the pool and Starbucks, really elevates the stay. The overall atmosphere and feel of the hotel is warm and welcoming.
Bar is far to expensive - I paid £19.50 for 7 prawns some noodles and a generic sauce from a packet, not really good enough. Ill go elsewhere for food when I stay again. TV in the room could have an option to connect to Netflix or mirror screen/cast, to make travel that little bit more homely. Not a deal breaker but most modern places have this as standard now. Shower gel/ shampoo for the love of god please provide individual body wash, shampoo and conditioner - I don't mind them being attached to the wall to prevent theft but what is good for skin is not good for hair. I work away every week and this small change really makes a huge difference.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were super friendly and so welcoming, facilities were top notch and very clean. The environment is family friendly and full of activities to do in-house so in the event of bad weather, you will still have a good time. I will definitely come back again for this reason.
Food and drinks are a little expensive and overly priced. Meals had a wetherspoons vibe to it, £20 for a standard burger and fries is definitely not cutting it when one can just order a takeaway at a lesser price and value for money. Oh, and the room was extremely hot, and this made it difficult to have a good night's sleep. The window barely opens and having the fan on doesn't make any difference. The fire alarm in our room went off prior to 9am, so if you are thinking of having a lay in after a long night, do bear this in mind.

We can understand why it is called The Village Hotel as it had so many good facilities. We really liked the bar overlooking the golf course. There was a group of 8 of us wanting to eat but we hadn’t booked a table earlier. When I asked the supervisor he went out of his way to provide a table for us which we were so grateful for.
Unfortunately our room was very hot. There was a fan but it wasn’t man enough for the heat in the room. We were able to open the window a notch but it had a security stay so couldn’t be opened very far and when it rained the rain was coming through a small gap.

Room: Stayed in a double. Very spacious. The toilet is big enough for a separate shower and tub. Bed: 2 king beds. Comfy Deco: Pictures of Blackpool on the wall. Adds a nice touch Ambience: Whole place was a resort feel. Built for events, such as weddings, meetings, mini-conventions. Hotel on a golf course. In-door pool and out-door pool. Well-used/ serious sports club that hotel guests can use. Crowded. Area: Next to a big park, zoo, and near hospital
Without a car, it's quite a long ways to get to Blackpool beach area or just out to the nearest outside restaurants/ fast food, etc

I have been coming to this hotel for over 15 years and absolutely love all but one thing. It's clean, comfortable, spacious, the food, although slightly higher priced, is delicious, and the service from the teams there is fabulous. This is why I will continue to come back...
The only negative, is the same as i always say in my reviews... there are no sheltered smoking areas and for someone who enjoys sitting outside this is always going to cause me issues. The hotel have the perfect space at the front of the hotel to the left to add a small canopy over the current smoking area... add a couple of tables and a heating lamp and it would be perfect!

Loved it all very nice place to stay will definitely be going back there without a doubt food, the swimming pool indoor and outdoor both had really good temperatures was amazed at the outside one usually anywhere I have ever stayed outside pool is never warm but this was amazing. Overall very nice to stay with family and kids.
Jus one morning they were cleaning the jacuzzi other than that nothing else to actually fault the place but they had it up and running by 12pm so won't even say that I had something I didn't like about the place.

I felt breakfast was one of the nicest I had ever had in a hotel. It was fresh, hot and tasty. Tables were cleared quickly by the excellent waiting staff. We travelled in hot weather so it was great to have a fan provided. Room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool facilities and it was great for the children that there were plenty of swimming woggles. Being able to order from the table was great in the Pub grill as the bar area was busy at times. All in all a very good stay, thank you.

I found most of the staff very helpful especially those on reception. The hotel seemed very clean which is a refreshing change to some other establishments. As we only had an overnight stay we can only offer a snapshop judment. I maywell have to come back to this area again and will definitely look to book again.
As are stay was in the school holidays and it is a family hotel we found waiting for food ordered took too long. We waited 55minutes for an evening meal. It would be helpful to give guests some idea of how long they would have to wait.

The bed was so comfortable, I dont sleep very well and I had the best night's sleep in a long time. Room decorated beautifully. Lovely and clean room.
We got a club room so we could use the pool on our stay but didn't end up using it as it was really busy. Also there was a couple in the pool inside kissing with hands all over each other, really awkward!!! It was a bit of a waste really getting getting gym and swim. Poor view of half the outdoor pool and carpark. Was hoping for a lovely view.
