The staff here were the highlight, they helped in any way possible and were always polite and friendly. The room was clean and comfy. The location was great too, found it easy to find my way around town.

The room was just a bit oddly laid out/ decorated.

It was in a great location; everything you would want or need was within walking distance. I have left a list below. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Twice they brought my Uber Eats delivery to my room—no hotel has ever done that for me before! I asked for more towels and toiletries and got them within minutes. The room itself was good and somewhat quirky (in a good way!). Lovely power shower. TV with a nice selection. Mini fridge, too. Pretty much everything you would need. Comfortable bed and pillows. No cards or keys needed; you get a code to access your room, which was easier. The room was also very clean and tidy. There are loads of bars, shops, and restaurants around, but no bother, no noise, no ASB. Bits of the room were slightly shabby, just wear and tear from age, but nothing major.

We absolutely love this hotel. Couldve stayed longer. Great staff, great rooms with a futuristic feel. My only negative thing would be that i think the cleaners need to be spoken to about taking more care into dusting the wardrobe cupboards as i put my clothes in them and when i went to take them out they were full of dust. also we had a drink at the funk bar. The glasses were all smeary and looked a little overused could do with a little replenishment of glassware. BUT saying those 2 minor things our stay was amazing and we will be returning

The hotel is in a fabulous location, a short walk to the Brighton Dome and the lanes and about a 5-8 minute walk to the pier. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we had booked parking with the hotel and we arrived earlier than planned. The hotel receptionist didn't hesitate to give us the barrier code for the car park and allowed to leave our bags in a safe room by reception as we were too early to check in. Our room was spacious, clean and tidy. There is a safe to put valuables in which is free of charge. Coffee and tea facilities and a mini fridge. everything about our stay was fantastic, we will definitely be back.

Attractive contemporary decor, and nice and quiet (I have a room that looked onto a lightwell). Having lockers available for guests is really brilliant. The location is very central; an easy walk from the station and perfectly situated for shopping around North Laine.

The A/C unit was a bit noisy. The vanity mirror in the bathroom was too far from where you stand at the sink to be able to see properly to do make-up, and the full length mirror in the room had terrible lighting, so no good for make-up either! Also no USB plug sockets which surprised me for a contemporary hotel room.

We only stayed one night on 20 April 25 but our superior double room was very well equipped with everything we needed, including full size ironing board, mini bar, complimentary tea & coffee, toiletries etc. The bed was compfy and the room was air conditioned. I especially liked the size of the bathroom and the two mirrors plus magnifying mirror. The car park being under the hotel made our stay even more pleasurable. The hotel location is perfect, right in the centre between the sea front and the lanes area. The staff were amazingly friendy, curtious and helpful and are thanked for their hospitality. We have stayed in many Brighton hotels but this one stands out as the one we will definaltely be returning to again and again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Unfortunately, the bar wasn't open when we stayed. Looked as thought it was being revamped beautifully and we are looking forward to using it when we return.

The best thing about My Brighton was the staff. Friendly & helpful & quick to assist this older couple when we had problems with lift, parking, & room access. Parking in a city centre hotel was very convenient. If you want a full fat English breakfast & a conventional restaurant on site this is not what My Brighton is all about but what it does offer is a more modern experience which we found most refreshing. A few eccentricities such as: a very low set shaving mirror; the full length mirror mounted behind the clothes hung in the wardrobe; the "beam me up Scottie" pod shaped bathroom; the wing shaped extensions to the side of the bed and a transparent loo door created some amusement on our part. We enjoyed our stay.

Location of the hotel was great, near the lanes but also very close to the start of the highstreet. Quiet at night. Was loving the 80s vibes of the hotel room was something a bit different than the average hotel room. Loved the window seat.

Staff weren't overly interactive. Which isn't a massive deal bit of recognition wouldn't go a miss. In the morning, the fire alarm went off (around 8 a.m.), which is obviously not a problem. Turned out to be a false alarm, which we were informed about by the cleaner. But when we were leaving, the reception staff didn't even acknowledge it. Just a quick 'sorry about that' would have been nice.

The funky style! Trendy but also comfortable. The location was perfect too! It was clean, the staff were lovely and we were made to feel welcome. The price was good but they may have been because it was off -season, summer maybe a bit pricey. But it is worth it! Our room was very spacious!

The pillows were a little hard for me but that is just personal preference and a little detail - a soap dish for the soap we used to wash our hands would have been great as it did not fit on the sink - we had to put it on the glass shelf - messy.

The staff always go above and beyond, I’ve been coming to this hotel for a few years now and yearly come 4/5 times throughout the year. This time they gave me a complimentary upgrade which was so lovely. The rooms are always clean and I’ve never had any complaints. The hotel is very central in Brighton lanes surrounded by unique shops, restaurants and bars. But also quite secluded, so you don’t get the usual city noises. The hotel is always so reasonable.

As mentioned I’ve been coming to this hotel for a few years now. We encountered a gentlemen joining us in the lift, who I believe worked there as the house keeping ladies greeted him. I have to say I have never had a bad experience with the staff, but the way this man talked to these ladies and demanded them around made me so angry! He was so bothered about how quickly they got out the lift for us, he should care more about his attitude towards his staff and how he talks to them, especially in front of guests. There is absolutely no hurry for them to get out the way for us, they’re doing their job! Whoever this man was, really needs to relook look at his priorities running a hotel/team. I dread to think how he speaks to them when guests aren’t around…
