Excellent and friendly checking in with a staff member who knew what she was doing. Got us in slightly before the official check in time too which was a welcome bonus. Bar and restaurant areas were clean and tidy with a nice vibe. Car parking was easy, WIFI worked and everything was as expected. The pool area was good and facilities were more than adequate. The cleaning staff were good at their job and friendly in the corridors when passing which is always a nice touch
There was no breakfast room service card in the room so I had to ring down for one. Was then called back 5 minutes later asking if I needed a breakfast room service card. I put it out, filled in, on the door before midnight but then when breakfast wasn't delivered at my allocated time I had to ring down to ask where it was. Eventually turned up at gone 10.30 am. The woman delivering it was friendly and deducted the tray charge but the whole event was overly complicated and frustrating. Breakfast was good though. Easy to remedy by adding a few spare cards into each room when being cleaned between guests? Another slightly poor thing was the mattress. It was just passable to sleep on but wasn't very comfortable. Maybe time to upgrade some of the older, sagging mattresses?

Conveniently placed 2 mins off the m4. Ample parking and lovely staff.
Bed was very hard and the food was a bit on the pricey side Breakfast was a fiasco, there were 2 coach loads of people staying who all came for breakfast at the sane time. They were very rude and pushy. I managed to get myself a bowl of cereal ,with alot of being shoved out the way. My son is a little shy and abandoned his 1st attempt at getting breakfast. I took him up for a second try and we managed to get a plate of food. I tried to get toast but they monopolised thr one toaster and each person took sooo much bread it was all gone. One the whole I paid 34 quid for a bowl of cereal and some scrambled eggs and cheese.

We had a free upgrade and the room was huge and very modern which was a lovely surprise. Lovely message written to us. Some chocolates in the room was delicious and a great touch being greeted by warm cookies! We had a huge bed which was comfy and very quiet where we slept so we slept well. Lovely they have a swimming pool so nice to have a swim. Really very kind of the hotel we would stay again! Lovely hotel!
The room was lovely but a long walk from the reception, all flat but far, it was a beautiful room but could have benefited from a dressing table, apart from that a beautiful room, unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working by the pool which was a shame not the end of the world and the EV charging was currently not working but that was out of their control. Air con in the bar area in the evening was set a bit too cold so it was warmer to sit outside but great they had air con again not a big deal, the bar area was very comfortable and modern. Would have been good if my kids room was closer, but my son is an adult so could look after my younger daughter, wasn’t a big deal.

A friendly atmosphere very welcoming very accommodating, the food was outstanding although I was disappointed with breakfast (hot) the room was lovely air conditioning was a blessing, our room was ready an hour before check in time as we had arrived early and they went above and beyond to sort our room, there was food left in the fridge from the previous occupiers which was worrying as made me think what else did they rush and miss but that passed and I found it clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. Thomas was wonderful, lovely and accommodating, a very lovely man
The buffet breakfast full English was cold and had been stood under the hot lamp for a long time which reflected in the quality, taste etc so it was left and I’m glad there were other options, the staff missed food from the previous occupiers in the fridge which could have been a disaster due to it being pork

We wanted a comfortable stay with a swimming pool close to Bristol, and this hotel fit the bill! Staff were excellent - we asked to move rooms away from a connecting room which was a bit noisy, and were given one of the brand new rooms which was fantastic. Beds were comfy, breakfasts were good. My son loved the pool and hot tub.
In our original conjoining room the noise from next door room was quite loud and bathroom was a bit outdated with a slight smell of mildew. Staff happily moved us though and we were very happy with the new room.

The hotel itself was nice and the leisure facilities were nice.
The staff require training!!!! There was also a shortage of staff. Had to ask twice at reception for someone to come to the bar and also to the leisure club facilities. Staff did not seem switched on at all when they were around. There was a stain on one pillow case and the air conditioning did not work. Pillow was changed and a fan provided. Staff member who dealt with this was the only member of staff that was pleasant and efficient.

Brilliant location, helpful and friendly staff especially at breakfast and in the gym/pool. Cookies were a nice touch Access to gym brilliant Very good selection of breakfast options
Unnecessarily and random messages from Robin, which weren’t even replied to when we had a minor query. Coffee (or any “hot” drinks) were tepid on each breakfast occasion - surely an easy thing to get right? Towels were replaced as required, but HAND towels were only replaced by single towels each day (2 in use) Extraction vent in female changing rooms of pool looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned in a while Otherwise a very clean venue throughout

The pool and facilities are so fun! I went in solo and got to play with pool noodles, sit in jacuzzi and sauna. The bar is great and good smoking area outside. Location is super handy for travelling from Chepstow and then on the motorway north the following day. Close to a big shopping centre for last minute bits & just eat available to the hotel. Tv has lots of channels Price was great They provide full set of toiletries which is so handy & bottled water!
Paying for parking although I was aware from previous stay and it was only £8.
