Good price for time of year - £97 a room without breakfast in August. Lots of parking. 30 ish minute drive to Charmouth/Lyme Regis days out. Complimentary breakfast was really lovely and appreciated given unsatisfactory cleanliness of our rooms (see photos and more info below). Manager was brilliant, so kind, friendly and issue dealt with perfectly. Furnishings of the rooms very fancy and impressive. Bed comfortable, shower excellent. Lovely biscuits, tea, coffee and cute mugs.

Very poor cleaning of our three double and family rooms (3,4,5) prior to check in - see photos of extensive dust clumps all over floor and around furnishings. Too much to have not been cleaned once, seems like it hadn’t been cleaned properly for a prolonged period due to the amount of build up. Damage to rooms not fully rectified - filler used but not repainted type thing. Noise from main road outside rooms really intrusive all night - especially when large lorries bundling past your room, this can’t be helped though. One curtain partially off its rail in room 4, one bedside table handle broken in room 5. All of these things are such a shame as the rooms could be so fancy and much more inviting with a tiny bit more fixing up and love.

Perfectly located for driving out to see the local tourist spots, very comfortable room, great and friendly staff, very clean. The breakfast was delicious and made to your own specifications, can be a pit picky about how things are cooked and the staff satisfied my culinary needs, one of the highlights of the day and the breakfast area and the bar downstairs are very clean and well laid out. Absolutely loved our stay at the Coach House Inn and I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Dorset. Please note, all rooms have a private bathroom that includes a toilet.

The fact we had to leave and come home.

Spacious room, lovely big bathroom and I loved the light up mirror. Plenty of towels offered, tea and coffee and ability to watch amazon prime ect on the tv. Pet friendly, Free WiFi ,food was delicious.and staff were great. Probably will come back for another stay and dine when we next visit the jurassic coast. I do also appreciate that the spiders are left alone

The unoccupied cobwebs should be cleaned, the spiders don't need an abundance of beds

One of the shower heading the bathroom wasn’t working. It states that there is the option of a take away breakfast if ordered the night before. On enquiring about this it was stated that it would have to be cooked the night before. Seems a bit strange to offer toast if pancakes for egs if it’s cooked the night before

An excellent coaching inn that has been decorated to a very high standard. The whole pub area and rooms are superb. The staff were great throughout our stay: from check in (thanks Brooklyn), to food and bar service, then breakfast before we left, all members of staff we interacted with were happy, friendly and helpful – faultless. They were also very accommodating of storing our bikes overnight. The food was lovely and the beer selection is very good. The location is good and bad for the same reason: right next to the road so easy to get to, but that means lorries rumbling past the window at all hours, although the comfort of the room means you'll likely sleep through anything.

Hard to fault overall but its position on the main road does mean there is some noticeable traffic noise if your room faces that way

Although we arrived quite late, the kitchen could accommodate for our meals, freshly cooked, local produce. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They are proud to offer drinks from local breweries and could inform us on the local area. The parking area behind the hotel is spacious and safe.

No complaints, it was a very pleasant experience and can recommend. We will keep this one in mind when we return for another trip to this area.

It was in a very attractive area and on a route which made it easy for us to get around Dorset and into Devon and Somerset. The staff were welcoming, engaging and helpful.

We would have liked an all in bed and breakfast price as we stayed there almost a week but I understand why they charge on a daily basis with variable prices for the large choice of breakfast available.

The room decor and size was very good. Best hotel room I have stayed in based on decor. Some of the staff were that extra level of customer service and went above and beyond to be welcoming and helpful.

The pillows were not comfortable and the toilet seat was broken. Other than that the stay was excellent.

Very comfortable stay. Room was very clean staff were friendly. We didn't get there until late so couldn't say about the food but there was tea and coffee facilities in the room so all was good

Road was noisy but probably only noticed it because we live in the middle of nowhere nowhere near a road so just not used to it

Good sized apartment, had access to use laundromat in the building, amazing view of the riverside and wildlife, enjoyed going to the coach inn pub for a drink in the evening, sitting outside in the sun.

There is a lift but then there’s a few stairs to get to the apartment.
