A great option for a few days in Edinburgh if you want to have the flexibility of a small apartment. We were able to shop and have our breakfast each morning. Kitchen was very well laid out including Neff appliances. Apartment was located on the corner of Charlotte Square and Princess St so you are in the heart of things.

The traffic noise but you are in a great location and we got used to it. Also there was no lift which was okay for us but for families or anyone with mobility issues it might not suit.

Location. We walked everywhere. Lots of coffee shops, restaurants, and shops nearby. The airport tram and bus stops are a few blocks away. Amenities starter kit with coffee pods, teas, soap and laundry detergent are appreciated. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the dryer to work. Quick response and resolution from management when we have questions.

Windows are thin and we can hear people talking in the busy streets downstairs. Also, construction across the street with jackhammering past midnight. To be fair, it was beyond the landlord’s control but it was quite annoying the first night we got there. There were no instructions or manuals to use the appliances and the towel warmer didn’t work fur us.

Great location, right next to Princes Street. Good quality furnishings and comfortable bed and bedding. Studio kitchen is a fully equipped kitchen. Excellent. Love the high ceilings and grand proportions of the three windows in our studio apartment. View overlooks Princes Street towards the Caledonian Hotel.

It’s location whilst very central is still in a busy working city in an old tenement building. Secondary glazing helps but traffic noise and the busy goings on in any large city is still noticeable. This is to be expected and can still be overlooked due to the excellent accommodation on offer. Nearby ground floor fast food outlet may create noise and aroma but if you like chicken- you’re on a winner. The studio is on the second floor so no real issue. Minor issues I know but still issues.

Our apartment was very easy to check-in to and it was large and comfortable for our party of 3. Destiney Scotland provided thorough instructions and was very communicative. The one thing they did not communicate was that if you store your luggage at their office, make sure to pick up before 5pm as they will lock up and you will have to pick up the next morning. It was not a huge issue, the lady that was assisting us was very proactive in calling us to let us know and waited for us to retrieve our luggage before closing up for the day. As far as the apartment we actually had more room than we needed but it was awesome to have the extra storage space. The apartment provided everything we needed to not only sleep comfortably, but also prepare meals if we needed to. Our only issue was that, although we visited during a cooler time period, the apartment had no A/C and it could get warm and stuffy. The rooms, including the living room and kitchen were all separated by doors to control the climate of each space individually. Access to the apartment is walkable friendly and just a few minutes from the nearest bus stop. To catch the tram, it is a bit of a further walk but not a problem. We enjoyed the centralized location the allowed us to explore both the Old Town and New Town pretty well. We would stay here again on our next visit for sure!

The apartment was in a great location, very well appointed furnishings, and a well equipped kitchen.

Our main concern was the stuffiness of the apartment. There was no recirculating air in the apartment so we had to have the window open and put the small table fan in front of the window to circulate some air into the place. The problem with that was the window opened onto Princes Rd which was VERY busy with people, busses, emergency vehicles and trollies so it was very noisy all day and most of the night. We would gladly visit Edinburgh again, but would not stay in this apartment unless there was some improvements to eliminate the lack of air movement with all the windows shut.

Nice way of using a code I'd remember. Perfect location for central Edinburgh, The place was spotless and beautifully decorated. Communication before staying from the host was excellent. Built in USB-chargers to the mains sockets are great because they save pulling out chargers. Shower was good and hot. Bed and pillows were comfy, I was initially concerned that I wouldn't get to sleep because of the passing trams, but that actually wasn't a problem and they stopped running later anyway. In fact given that it is buried right in the centre of Edinburgh on a busy street it was remarkably quiet inside. I will stay again!

Found the lighting arrangments a bit odd - I couldn't figure out how to turn on the drop light above the table and the lighting in the lounge/kitchen was either all on bright spotlights or off - there was no subdued lighting which would have been nicer to sit on sofa and read to. There is a standing lamp but the bulb in it was the other extreme it was so weak it offered no light at all. It may be that I just couldn't figure out where the light switches were, but some of those when I turned them on and off didn't seem to do anything. This is being hyper-crtitical though, with the spots on there was plenty of light just would have been nice to have an option

This apartment was extremely comfortable, well managed and in a great location. My daughter and I stayed and both enjoyed the ease of exploring the city. Just around the corner on Rose street we found some nice restaurants. The flat overlooked Princes St Gardens and busses and trams were literally at our feet. It was extremely secure, with passcodes needed at 3 entries. USB ports at bedside were very handy.

If you have heavy luggage the stairs could be difficult. We were also provided salt and pepper grinders with no salt or pepper…(just a little thing really).

The apartment was very clean and quiet. We had everything we needed in the kitchenette. The location was excellent; just a few steps away from Princes Street, the shops, the park is just across the street. The castle and all the sites and the train station are within walking distance of the apartment. There are some lovely reasonably priced restaurants in the area. We will definitely return here on another visit.

There wasn't a wardrobe in the apartment but that wasn't an issue for us - might be for some though. The apartment was on the top floor (three floors) with no lift access so it might be difficult for those who are not that fit.

The location is perfect. You're right across the street from the park, and Edinburgh Castle. Great location on the main road with TONS of shops and restaurants in every direction. Would definitely stay here again. The apartment was wonderful and a great retreat to rest your feet from all the walking.

Nothing with the apartment. We did a 2 night stay and in total there were probably over a dozen emergency response vehicles that went by between 8pm and 3am. Its the only negative I could think of, but I'd still happily stay there.

Excellent location, close to many restaurants and shops. Old Town is just a walking distance. Very clean, spacious and modern apartment. Kitchen has utilities. You get check in instructions about a week prior to arrival. No staff on site but there are instructions how to get hold of them if you need them at any point. Will definitely stay with them again and I highly recommend!

It is stated that there is no lift and there nothing that can be done about it considering it is an old building but keep that in mind especially if you're travelling with a lot of luggage. Also if you're arriving before check in time, you can't store your luggage in the property. You can store your luggage at their office, though I didn't because I don't want to walk all the way there and back lugging my bags. There are a number of storage facilities really close by at a small cost so that was handy.
