The staff is unbeatably friendly and helpful! Even on the day of departure they helped me plan my route through Storm Eowyn! We arrived safely in the Cairngorms. Izobela in particular, but also all of her colleagues are always in a good mood and have good advice - especially when you're travelling with dogs. We'll be happy to come back, we promise!

Excellent room and quality bed. Very quiet room. Simple breakfast in a bag was adequate. There for the Fringe and the central location was excellent. Staff very helpful.
No room cleaning/service included so you have to pay extra for this. When you pay 2K GBP for 7 nights in a studio (Fringe period so I understand accommodation is expensive), I think its pretty petty not to include this, even if its just 2-3 times.

Good location away from the hustle and bustle without being out of town, around an 18 minute walk from the train station. The rooms are well laid out with mostly everything you need, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. All the staff I interaxted with were very friendly.
The room was located on the ground level next to a stairs exit, which was used throughout the evening. Would just suggest that staff be mindful of noise levels.

The location of Native was great - Queen Street is relatively quiet (we were on first floor and didn't hear any traffic noise), but it's still really near the shops and restaurants of George St and Princes St for the gardens and the castle. The staff were very friendly and happy to chat about local attractions. I normally travel with or request extra pillows, which the Native team were happy to provide, although I really didn't need them as the pillows we had in our room were super thick! The room, kitchen area and bathroom were spotless. (I have seen previous reviews mentioning no parking or the rooms not being turned over each day - firstly, Edinburgh is an old city - the hotel is in the Georgian 'New Town' - and was never made to accommodate parking, so visitors with cars will need to consider where the nearest parking is beforehand and shouldn't blame the hotel. Secondly, to reviewers complaining about having the rooms turned over - it's an apart/hotel!! the reason people stay here is to have a degree of privacy and being self sufficient whilst being in the centre of a city - if you're the type who *needs* new towels and someone coming in to clean up after you each day - book a traditional hotel! 🙄)
I think there may have been some confusion re. our check out time - we were advised upon check in that this could be flexible, I think as we were staying for 4 nights - later in the stay, when I asked if we could have 12pm check out, I was charged £10, but upon checkout was told our checkout time was already 2pm No biggie - it didn't ruin the stay, but it's work checking!

The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was comfortably big and had everything we needed. It was great that there was complimentary tea available at the bar upstairs. The location is fantastic - easy walking distance to Old Town & New Town landmarks, shops, restaurants, parks, etc.
Overall, it was a great stay, there were just a few things I felt could've been better, especially for the money we were paying. A few parts of the apartment weren't cleaned very well, the bathroom didn't have a fan and it was a wet bathroom so it took forever to dry after a shower... little things like that that just made our stay less than excellent.

Probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Great location for city centre bars and restaurants. Easy walking distance to all the main shops. The check in was easy, friendly staff. The lounge is very nice to walk into. The room we had was excellent, clean, very quiet. Small lounge and kitchen with washing machine and dryer which is ideal if you are staying for a few days. Good sized bedroom, comfortable bed. Nice shower room with walk in shower.
Nothing to find fault with, if travelling by car make use of the code supplied otherwise car parking is very expensive. A bit of a walk to the car park but that's not the hotels fault

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. It is very close to everything we wanted to explore. Nice design and spacious as well with fully equipped kitchen. We did use the luggage storage after our check out wich was super helpful! Overall I would recommend staying in here :)
For a four star hotel I was sad to see some black mold on the shower tiles. The other problem was that our room was next to the staff room and it was extremly noisy once the staff came in there, not only in the morning but in the evening as well, mailny on our second day. We didnt have extra toilet paper, coffee pods were not left in the room, it felt like someone forgot to bring them after cleaning the room but we asked staff for those and it wasnt that big of a problem, just felt that thnigs like that could use some more attention.

This aparthotel offers the perfect blend of Airbnb-style convenience and hotel comfort. The staff were exceptionally friendly, well-informed, and always available to share their knowledge of the city or assist in any way. The location was excellent—just a short walk from one of the main shopping streets. The welcoming lobby, with soft seating and coffee and snacks available to purchase. That said, the area is packed with fantastic eateries, so we were spoiled for choice when it came to brunch and coffee options. The apartment itself was thoughtfully equipped, featuring a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. A lift provided easy access to our floor. The layout felt more like a home than a hotel room, with a small hallway, a separate bedroom, a bathroom, and a combined kitchen, living, and dining area. The sofa bed was already made up for our son on arrival and was very comfortable. Having a kitchenette was ideal—it allowed us to prepare breakfast, cook a simple supper, or put together a salad instead of eating out for every meal. The shower was excellent, and our room, which faced the internal courtyard, was wonderfully quiet. The windows could be left ajar for fresh air, which was just right. The bedding was high-quality cotton, and the fluffy towels were a nice touch. While some areas were beginning to show a little wear and tear, the decor was modern and well-maintained. Overall, a fantastic stay—I would highly recommend it.
The property was perfect for us. I guess some people might not like the view over onto other hotel rooms in the courtyard or they may not like looking out onto a road with traffic if staying in an apartment at the front of the building but they were secondary glazing to defend against any outside noise and we weren’t expecting a grand view.

Check-in was easy and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very well equipped, it was so useful to have a little kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, pull out table etc. Lovely to be able to open windows too as so many chain hotels don't allow that now and I need fresh air coming in to sleep well. Location was good, about a 10min walk from the stations and close to Princes St.
When we arrived there was no tea or coffee in the room so we had to go down and request that. The coffee machine in the room was great to have but it would have been good to have some decaff pods too. These are minor issues though.

Located at the heart of Edinburgh, this hotel is a great choice for those looking to stay at a centric, yet quiet/residential area. We were travelling as a family of 5 and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The beds were spacious and confortable and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful with the questions that arose during our stay. The location is perfect and it is within walking distance of many of the highlights of the city, as well as pubs and restaurants.
We had a really wonderful stay, so nothing in particular to complain about. If we could just suggest one small inprovement it would be a bit more water pressure in the shower.
