The staff is unbeatably friendly and helpful! Even on the day of departure they helped me plan my route through Storm Eowyn! We arrived safely in the Cairngorms. Izobela in particular, but also all of her colleagues are always in a good mood and have good advice - especially when you're travelling with dogs. We'll be happy to come back, we promise!

Excellent room and quality bed. Very quiet room. Simple breakfast in a bag was adequate. There for the Fringe and the central location was excellent. Staff very helpful.

No room cleaning/service included so you have to pay extra for this. When you pay 2K GBP for 7 nights in a studio (Fringe period so I understand accommodation is expensive), I think its pretty petty not to include this, even if its just 2-3 times.

Good location. Situated out of the tourist fray but just a short walk to royal mile and most attractions. Convient as well for the bus from airport (and all the other busses along Princes st). Plenty of bars and restaurants close by as well. Staff we super friendly upon arrival. We arrived early in morning before check in. We were able to relax in the lobby area and get ourselves organized before storing our bags until check in. Room was spacious, we were 2 couples and had a two bedroom room. There were 2 rooms, both with proper beds (no pull out). We also had a small kitchenette with fridge, sink and micro and some basic dishes. Great for coffee and basic breakfast in morning.

Everything was great except we couldn't get washing machine in our unit to work.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I truly appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the overall atmosphere. Highly recommended!

My stay at the hotel apartment had both positive and negative aspects. While the apartment was spacious, it lacked daily cleaning service, which was disappointing. I was not informed that the gas stove was out of service due to a malfunction, nor was I given any information about the available hotel services, nearby facilities, or attractions in the area. The reception bathroom was not clean, and the self check-in/check-out screens were not working properly. Late check-out was only available until 1:00 PM and came with an additional charge—I would have appreciated more flexibility. There was also a lack of sufficient luggage storage, especially during check-out, which made things a bit difficult. Lastly, the apartment had an unpleasant smell that affected my overall comfort.

First about the hotel - overall, it’s not bad. The room was clean, but the biggest plus was having a washing machine and dryer available. That’s a solid 10 out of 10 - much respect for that! Quiet location, and the old town sights are easy to reach on foot. There’s underground parking in the building, but you need to book it in advance (only 4 tight spots). Be careful, the entrance is very narrow, and you might struggle with a large car. Overall, I’d recommend it.

The TVs in the room were outdated - there were two, and one of them wasn’t even a smart TV. They’re really old, and honestly not great for watching anything for long. That was a downside for me. Another issue, we were staying with family and our child slept on the sofa bed in the kitchen, but the windows there didn’t have blackout curtains. A streetlamp kept shining in all night, definitely a noticeable minus. Also, even though there was a kitchen, there was no hob or oven, so all you could do was heat things up in the microwave. That said, having a dryer for laundry made up for a lot of it.

Good location away from the hustle and bustle without being out of town, around an 18 minute walk from the train station. The rooms are well laid out with mostly everything you need, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. All the staff I interaxted with were very friendly.

The room was located on the ground level next to a stairs exit, which was used throughout the evening. Would just suggest that staff be mindful of noise levels.

The Heeton is an outstanding property. Entering the hotel I was welcomed in the lobby by a staff member. The lobby was well-appointed. We were told that check-in was at 3pm. The process for check-in was simple. The room was excellent. It was roomy, very clean and super comfortable. All of the electronics worked properly. The beds were very comfortable. The room was a welcome site after a long day of touring. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We would absolutely stay at the Heeton again.

There is not a traditional "front desk", staff sit at a small table across from the bar which made it a little difficult to identify who was an employee and who was a guest. Unusual but not a big deal. We arrived about 90 minutes early and had to wait in the lobby. This was not a huge inconvenience. However, if the room is available, staff should allow an early check-in.

The staff is great and the location is wonderful. We walked to Old Town in one direction, and Stockbridge in the other direction. The tram stop wasn't too far and there are so many restaurants and bars, it would take months to explore it all. We loved having the washer/dryer in unit. There is a small kitchen as well but we didn't stay long enough to bother with it. It was nice having a fridge to keep the water cold. We liked having a separate bedroom and living room. The staff was so friendly and made recommendations on where to go. We'd definitely tell friends to stay here if it were in their budget.

It's nice that parking is an option but you need to book in advance, it's not cheap, and the driveway is harrowing! Before you go down the ramp, stop at the gate to press the buzzer so they open the garage. We totally missed it the first time and weren't sure we were in the right place due to lack of signs.
