Nicely decorated room with great bathroom and shower. Comfy bed

Felt that there wasnt a personal greating on arrival. No option for an evening meal, not even sandwich and soup as stated in information sent after booking. Felt that room was over priced as breakfast was not included in cost and due to time of year only available breakfast was breakfast balms at an extra cost.

Really nice. We booked a suite which was Ideal for our family with separate twin room for the children and large modern stylish bathroom. It's the second time we have stayed in the same suite and would really recommend it. We had a really good time there and would definitely use again if we are travelling to the area.

The maid service is 'on request' which we only found out about on the last day of our 3 day stay. It would have been nice to have the beds made, fresh towels and have the cups and glasses cleaned or replaced daily. The TV in the twin room (children's room), wasn't a smart TV which would help keep them entertained with Prime Video & Netflix, etc. We thought it was strange as the TV in the main bedroom was a smart TV. I'm really nit-picking though as they had there own ipads etc, so it wasn't really an issue at all.

Everything thing at Carus Green was wonderful, staff great and pleasant to chat to. Breakfasts were great, and definitely value for money. Golf greens, shop and range were great. I would recommend and quality of accommodation was wonderful. Will be back for sure

The bedding was super comfy, and the apartment was a great size for our one night stay. It was in a great location to access the lake district via car, and parking was right out front of the apartment which was great.

The tea and coffee was set up on the bedside table in the small single bed room which was a little awkward for use, and there was no communal area in the apartment to sit together as a group.

Great location for a wedding in Kendal. Large clean room. Very good breakfast included over in the golf club restaurant. Staff were very helpful with sorting out check in. We were arriving early for a taxi to take us to the wedding venue. Staff allowed us to use the golf club facilities to get changed, and gave us a key so we could get into the room later on.

It was very noisy around 11.30:12.00 people drunk and stood outside our window. Making lots of noise. You don’t want to say anything in case it causes trouble with them. Shen we’ve stayed before it was really nice and peaceful at that time of night.

The view from the bar, the staff were polite, cheerful and friendly, the golf course looked brilliant (I'll be back to play it one day). Nice 25 mins walk into Kendal. Breakfast was tasty and good value. Games room excellent.

Room slightly on the smaller side but enough for 2 nights. Price was good but feel it could always be a bit cheaper. Smell of damp socks in communal hall leading to the rooms.

I used this place for one night whilst visiting friends who where in the area, room was very nice, l didn’t use the facilities as I’m no golfer but it seemed like a good set up. Not sure if I would use the place again but this is only because I prefer the more traditional style of b&b personally and is not a complaint.

Great value for money for a one night stay. Convenient location for walking into Kendal town centre. Staff were helpful and friendly. Wonderful vegetarian breakfast. Nice to have a small bottle of water in room too. Also not very often you actually have conditioner in the bathroom so that was nice

Check in time was quite restrictive, but we managed to collect our key on time Poor view out of our room (car park), but we weren’t in the room for that long

The operation hours for the receptionists should be 24/7 as the other hotels do but it wasn’t an issue for me. The other thing that I know some of the hotels here are not air-conditioned, yet it is still important in hot weather. This is why I’m giving 9/10.
