The place is not far from the city centre. 20 min walk. At night the heating was on so it was warm. The sink in a room was a good thing. I had a big towel and shampoo, shower gel was provided. Teapot, hairdyer as well. Basically all you need.

The house looks a bit creepy from outside. In the evening I couldn't open the window because someone smoked weed outside. I didn't use common shower because I didn't have flip-flops.

I have stayed at the Avalon several times, often by myself when I travel to Leeds for a gig. The staff are always very friendly and the hotel itself is clean and comfortable. An excellent choice for a quick stop over.

There was a small wait for my room key, but as it is a small, independent hotel, I have no issues with that.

We Stayed to attend a concert.This is a budget hotel you get what you pay for.Staff only there to show us room of which we had a choice of 2 both similar. We wanted a hotel/room which was clean near venue and had parking, ticked all boxes. Definitely stay here again to go to Brundell Social Club excellent venue. What I would say is dont judge book by its cover much better inside.It was clean warm comfortable night sleep we upgraded to a room with a shower. Had a kettle small amount of tea and coffee. Excellent budget hotel for a good cheap stay.

It's in the centre of Student land not close to any shop but plenty of places to buy hot fast food and corner type shops for Essentials.

Couldn’t get shower warm but our booking didn’t even say we had a bathroom in the room which we did

My wi-fi connection took slightly longer than I expected when I arrived, but the staff were very helpful, I just needed to wait a couple of minutes

the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. the staff were very friendly and accommodating. there are shops and pubs within walking distance. there is safe car park provided. there is a bus stop around the corner so can easily get into town

how close it is to university of leeds for me to attend my classes while i am seeking for a place to let

it was a bit cold without a heater that i could turn up in the room and wish there was a washer available for guests staying 3 nights or more

Good rate , room was pleasant and clean. Was 25 minutes walk to station, 20min to arena. Note was cash only.

Outside of building coudl do with attention.

We didn’t have breakfast as it wasn’t mentioned when we checked in so we went to Weatherspoons

The en suite door had been damaged at some time but instead of replacing it they had just patched it up
