Sam at check in was superb! Friendly, helpful and efficient. He sorted out a second room for us across the hall. A lovely welcome to the hotel from Sam! The bar and restaurant staff were also very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Our rooms were also ready before the 3pm check in time which was very convenient after an early morning flight.

I phoned reception to ask what time breakfast finished and was told 10:30 however when I got there just before 10 I was told it finished at 10 so I felt very rushed. There was chipped paint in the bathroom and the shower was difficult to operate. The water pressure was very low. A tv screen in the bar seating area showed an open fire, an actual electric or gas fire might be a nicer option as it was quite chilly in the bar and lobby area.

Second time staying at the hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful to the point that my 7 year old daughter said to me " Dad do you know why I like this hotel, it's because the people are really nice". The rooms are good enough plenty of towels,tea and clean. The bar and restaurant and nice with plenty of options to eat at breakfast.

The main thing that stood out was the pool facilities, there's alot of wear and tear with plenty of noticable repairs that needs sorting , plus my daughters were looking forward to going in the jacuzzi and sauna like they did the year before with no problems but this time I was asked by staff to not let them use them. I'm no fool and I understand the risks of young children using saunas and jacuzzi's but it definitely leaves question mark whether or not I will be staying at the hotel again.

This hotel was everything we needed for a weekend in Leeds! Close to the train station + Leeds centre , but away from the noise + business . The staff were brilliant, so welcoming, friendly + helpful + created a relaxed environment. Being gluten + dairy intolerant the restaurant accommodated my needs so well, nothing was too much trouble. The pool was lovely + added to the enjoyment of our stay. Would highly recommend + will definitely book again if we return to Leeds.

We had a room which could be an adjoining family room to the next room + unfortunately the first night our neighbours were being very loud late at night, but this was dealt with swiftly + efficiently by Jade, a super receptionist!

Our family stayed for 4 nights in total for our daughters graduation and the staff were exceptional! Nothing was too much trouble, no matter what we needed. Jade was the main person we spoke to at reception and she was incredible. She made sure our rooms were beside each other even though they had been booked separately. She took a great interest in our trip and when we returned after the graduation she congratulated our daughter and offered to take a group photo of us on the stairs. All of the staff were so cheerful and helpful, we had an amazing stay.

Honestly I cannot think of anything. I've asked my family and they can't either!

Beautiful hotel, great room, staff couldn't do enough for us, very helpful and pleasant. Pool area looked great but we annoyingly forgot to bring our swimwear & gym stuff so can't comment on it sadly

It was just a 10min walk to the train station but quite a long way from the shopping centre & the wharf area where we ate & drank. We were given keys to a room which turned out to already have people staying in it in error! Luckily we think they were in the bathroom so unaware of us walking in! Got upgraded to a Club room as compensation but we only had 7mins to enjoy it as closed quite soon after we checked into our new room.

I was very impressed with the room size and space. the hotel was very nice indeed. breakfast was reasonable. staff were very pleasant. only issue was that the bed could have been a bit larger for the size of the room. it felt cramped and the only other thing was the window didnt seal properly so it was noisy from the road and we were on floor 5. so i bet it was even noisier lower down. that said it was very nice and enjoyed our stay.

The lounge areas were lovely and quite luxurious for sitting and having a drink or a crossword in the evening. The swimming pool was quiet, easy to access and a nice addition. It was very close to bus stops which was very handy and there were a few shops and cafes within a few minutes walk. I really liked having two real beds rather than a sofa bed for the kids! The real star of the show was the staff - in particular Sam! He made us feel like VIPs! All of the staff were very attentive and polite. Anything we asked or needed, nothing was too much trouble for Sam!

It is VERY badly soundproofed, I could hear the guests in the room above using the toilet! Could hear guests in the corridors and in their rooms. Very frustrating for me. The window never seemed to fully close and suffered with very bad condensation and mould. It was quite shocking compared to the rest of the hotel! I found the beds very uncomfortable, the mattresses were thin and soft. Didn’t get a very good nights sleep either of the nights unfortunately. We didn’t try breakfast as at £16.95pp I felt it was far too much to justify.

The room was lovely. Good quality toiletries. Plenty of room. Parking on site. Very comfy bed but only 3 pillows for 2 of us, which wasn't a problem as I only sleep with one, but would have been if we both wanted 2. All you need really for a reasonably comfortable stay.

The room was on the cold side and we couldn't adjust the temprature. The duvet wasn't big enough for the bed. The hand / body lotion had curdled and I ended up having to scrape lumps of it off my body. There was a private party which was very noisy and went on until just after midnight which was a bit annoying as I was trying to work and couldn't concentrate.

Good location, close to the centre and easy to find. Room was clean and the staff were friendly. Added breakfast on in the morning and was exactly what I needed.

Went down to use the pool in the morning. The pool area was okay, sauna wasn’t really hot but that was fine. The changing rooms were dirty though. I felt the need to shower in my room after showering in there. The amount of hair surrounding the shower areas made it clear they hadn’t been done for a while. Not very nice. I decided against using again the second day.

The room was fantastic and clean, great facilities, nice touch with a couple bottles of water being in the fridge, plenty of choice for the tea and coffee making facilities, bed comfortable and nice touches with the dressing gown and slippers in the wardrobe which were available to wear. The temperature control in the room was a bit temperamental so it was quite warm at times, but thats probably because i didn't know what i was doing with the temperature control system. The staff were exceptional, reception, bar and serving staff all fantastic. Loved the welcome drink on arrival at reception never had that even in hotels that were more expensive. Food and drinks were good also. Never felt uncomfortable even though it was my first time staying in a hotel by myself, everyone was very friendly. Also very comfortable seating areas all around the hotel including in the bar area.

I went swimming. The thing that put me off in the spa area was how dirty the jacuzzi was inside. Apart from that swimming was good, sauna and steam room were good.
