Room was very comfortable and had everything you need for a few days break. Like that ironing facilities provided and the shower was really good.

Service at the bar. Tried to ask for a drink twice and was told to sit down and someone would serve us. Waite about 15 minutes then gave up and went back to the room. Only one lift working and there was lack of communication about this. We ended up walking down the fire escape after a 20 minute wait. If we had known sooner it would have saved us a lot of time.

Breakfast was super busy , noisy, it’s really wake you up but the stuff are nice and welcoming

We stayed at the Hilton London Metropole from the 8th to the 12th of July with our two kids and had a truly enjoyable experience. The family room was perfect – spacious, comfortable, and ideal for relaxing after busy days in London. The half board was great value, and the breakfast service was absolutely outstanding – plenty of variety, fresh options, and excellent service. A special thank you to Jorge, who made us feel genuinely welcome every morning and went out of his way to assist us. His warmth and attention really stood out and made our mornings even better. There was only one hiccup during our stay: one evening, we were unable to dine at the restaurant due to an issue with the kitchen’s ventilation system. Unfortunately, we weren't informed in advance, which caught us off guard. However, this was more than compensated by Hady at the front desk, who was incredibly professional and helpful. Not only did he ensure we were refunded for that dinner, but he also arranged a late check-out for us – which made a huge difference when travelling with young children. Overall, a wonderful family stay. Great facilities, excellent service, and a staff that truly cares. We’ll definitely return.

Honestly, the hotel was great and everything went well 👌🏼 Before coming, we were worried because of some of the comments we read, but our experience was totally different: • Reception was friendly and helpful. • The location is excellent. • Overall, everything was perfect. A couple of things to improve: • The elevator needs some maintenance. • It was difficult to reach the hotel by phone (no answer most of the time). Note: There is no room service (food delivery to rooms), so keep that in mind. Overall, a very good experience and I would recommend it.

We arrived at 11:30 and we asked if our room was ready to check in. It wasn’t which was perfectly fine as we knew the check in time was at 15:00. The reception guy (Hady) gave us the option to pay for an upgrade to an Executive room which was available for immediate checking in with access to the executive lounge and breakfast (our initial booking did not include breakfast) and we are not regretting paying for the executive room. The room was on the 9th floor, spacious, clean, modern. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We went to the Oasis Wembley concert on Friday and then on Saturday we went to Imagine Dragons at Tottenham Hotspur stadium which were both easily accessible by the Tube lines opposite the hotel. And Heathrow Express is only a 10-min walk.

Breakfast at the main restaurant could be improved in terms of variety and quality. The Executive lounge had a big variety of drinks but it wasn’t open 24/7. More snacks and fruit could have been included too, there was no finger food, no wraps, no canapés etc There were only nuts, chips, cookies and apples.

I rang the hotel before we left home in Nottingham to ask I we could borrow a clothes steamer as we were travelling to our son’s wedding. The person I spoke to put me on hold. When she came back she said she had asked the housekeeper and that steamer would be available and I was to ask for it on checking in , which I did. There was a confusion and the gentleman said he would sort it out and a steamer would be delivered to the room. It wasn’t so I went to check in again and asked again (for the third time). Again told it would be brought to the room - it wasn’t. I left it for that day and asked again on the morning of the wedding - nothing was ever delivered. I was so mad by this time as Boone had the decency to tell me what was going on. Poor , poor, poor service.

Everything was perfect and as expected, I only gave it a bit lower when it comes to location due to personal preferences NOT that the location itself is not convenient, its right on Edgeware road street.. I just happen to prefer to stay right on Oxford street. Other than that it went all as expected..

Only downside I can think of is that the elevators took somewhat long, and seemed abit old, apart from that.. everything was good.
