Location was great, close to Paddington train station. Room was as expected, comfy and nice, great bathroom. I must say compared to other hotels in London, it is a good deal and I'd book it again. Breakfast was alright, the lady who was in charge was really nice and made sure there was enough food for everyone so she kept providing everything.

Even if the room was really nice, some furnitures were broken and it was dusty which is a problem for me as I have asthma. Breakfast room was tiny and packed. No lift as its in an old building, not a problem for me but if you have a room on the second or third floor and heavy luggages, it's something to have in mind.

Great location for the hotel with plenty to see and do nearby. Hotel staff were brilliant from the get go, very helpful and informative, knew their stuff well and gave great advice and tips when needed. As a family with a young child i requested a large room before arrival as i wasn’t able to get a triple/family room as it was a last minute booking. The room we got was on the 3rd floor which meant we had to walk up alot of steps with luggage as there was no lift, great if you’re trying to get your daily fitness in!! The room was spacious, clean and had a dressing table with a chair, tv, tea/coffee making facilities, walk in cupboard, hairdryer and a fan. Only negative was toilet/shower narrow and a very small space. Bed was comfortable but with a child between us, was not ideal- a sofa bed would be perfect in that room!! I would say pillows deffo need a upgrade as they were flat and too soft. Breakfast was good and plentiful the hotel also caters to a Halal diet, alot of breakfast options to choose from. We would definitely come back to this hotel again, was great that we could park our car outside the hotel too at a charge and knew it was secure with cctv constantly watching on it. Hope that management and staff keep up the good work and with their great hospitality.

Loads of stairs and soft and flat pillows.

The location was OK, the road in front of it was not too crowded, also it's near stores and restaurants, I just love the area. It's near the Paddington train stn (3 minutes walk). The staff were polite and very helpful, unfortunately there's no lift, but they helped me to take the luggage upstair to my room (3rd fl). Thank you. The breakfast was also OK, complete enough for having some kind of foods & drinks. The housekeeping clean up the room everyday.

The room was quite small for me.

Good price/quality ratio. The room: we had a room on first floor. Everything was clean uppon arrival, room size was acceptable, bathrom had shower products. Bed size was ok and confortable. We had a small balcony with a street view, which was nice. Coffee and tea in the bedroom were provided. We could hear a bit of a noise when other guests arrive at night, but nothing that could prevent us from having a nice rest; The facilities: were ok for the price paid and considering the price of the hotels in the area. Breakfast variety also ok. Although our room wasn't ready when we arrived to the hotel (arrived at noon and check-in time was at 2PM), we could leave our bags in the reception: The neighborhood: Sussex Gardens is a street where you have an hotel almost every door, so it's well served of public transports (bus stop 200m away, underground at 500m). Some coffe shops and groceries stores near by. Close to a rent-a-bike deposit; In a conclusion: since we were enjoying the city from the morning until the end of the day, the hotel was just a place to rest for a few our before the next day arrives, so it ended up by being a good choice. Would recommend this for someone who will spend 2-3 nights in London.

The room: bathroom was a bit narrow (shower particularly); The facilities: breakfast room was really small and, since it only begins at 8AM and all guests want to leave as early as possible to visit the city, it can get really crowded and you might have to wait for your turn to have breakfast; The neighborhood: nothing to point out here

Location is great, close to Paddington station. The breakfast was good. The room was very clean. Toiletries were provided in the room. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and helpful! Great value for money.

-As everyone mentions, the bathroom sink was small and when washing my face there was water everywhere. The breakfast area a bit small and crowded. -However we were aware of these before booking, the most inportant for us was having a good location and a clean room, which we had.

The hotel has a great location, I like staying in this area (safe streets, full of restaurants, good public transport connections). We were accommodated in a room in the basement, I was afraid that it would be cold, but it was warm, cosy and quiet. The rating of the hotel depends very much on how you are used to accommodation in London (small rooms that tend to be damp etc.). For me, the accommodation was really nice, the room was clean, fast wi-fi, simple but tasty breakfast (drip coffee, not from the machine, which was great, but it could have been stronger :), nonstop guarded reception, hot water in the shower, electric kettle,... everything you need for a short stay. We would come back.

There was no unsalted butter for the breakfast; the bathroom was poorly ventilated, there was a lot of musty smell... Well, London. :)

The staff was extremely friendly and very forthcoming and the location was great to explore central London!

The only thing we struggled with was the heat - we did have a fan in our room but it almost made no difference. To be fair, it was extremly hot in London (>30°C). For our first night we were in a smaller room where the fan was closer to the bed and it helped cool down the room a lot better. The rooms were pretty small but that was to be expected since the hotel is so central.

The hotel is in a perfect location near to Paddington station and various metro and bus lines. Close to Hyde park and to many places that you can visit even on foot! We got upgraded for our honeymoon to the room with the balcony and it was amazing!! Thank you so much for this! It made our stay unforgettable!! The staff were very friendly and helpful from the receptionists to the ladies at the breakfast and the cleaners!! The breakfast was tasty with variety!! Thank you again! I will be back for sure! I suggest 100%!!

It was close to Paddington. The room was clean and tidy, even though a bit on the small side. The breakfast was good. You can leave your luggage at the reception before the room is ready. All you need for a short stay.

The room was cold as there was single windows in the room. Even though it was lovely to have clean towels every day, I think it would be good for the environment, if guests would use the same towels 2-3 days in a row. Often in hotels there is a sign that asks you to hang up the towel, if it doesn’t need changing. If you want it changing, you put it on the floor.
