The single room I was staying in was on the 3rd floor with a nice view on the street, it was small but clean; and the bathroom was not as cramped as others I've seen in London budget hotels. The position is excellent, a short walk from many Tube lines. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was absolutely adequate, for a budget hotel. All in all, good value for money!

The wifi in my room only worked for a few hours the first day I was there. For the rest of the time, it was impossible to connect my devices to the Internet using the hotel network. The staff tried to help and gave me the password for the network of the hotel next door, but the connection was slow and unstable, I could send e-mail but surfing the web and streaming videos was very difficult. The flush button on the toilet was very hard to press down. I hope they can repair it.

Clean and well run hotel. Breakfast was very simple, but filling. Friendly reception staff.

Aircon not included in the price, necessary to pay extra to get it. Bed was relatively uncomfortable.

Great location near Paddington train station and for buses. It is easy to walk to places, too. Hotel staff were very nice and welcoming. My room was very clean and comfortable, with a super shower. The hotel was spotless. The breakfast room is downstairs. There was a good selection of fresh foods and drinks. The staff in the breakfast room were delightful and so attentive. Although there were no tea making facilities in my room, tea or coffee could be obtained by self service in an area downstairs to the left of the reception desk. I enjoyed a wonderful stay.

Staff were friendly and very helpful our room was clean and the shower was fine good water pressure. I have no idea why people complain about the breakfast this is London for goodness sake you don't get a full fry up. Plenty of cereal toast jam and marmalade ect. Fresh coffee cheese , eggs and ham and chilled orange juice. More than adequate and good value for the price. The location was superb 5 minutes to trains and buses , cafes and restaurants on the doorstep.

Having to pay £10.00 a day for aircon. Apart from that nothing

Excellent location within walking distance to Paddington Station & underground. Lots of cafes, restaurants (both halal & non-halal), souvenir shops, Paddington Square, TESCO supermarket and St Mary's Hospital. Hotel was clean and had nice, friendly staff and had a lift. Breakfast spread was very simple and useful to start the day. Overall, the hotel was good value for money.

The bed mattress in our room needs to be changed and the room is a bit small but other than that a cosy clean room to rest after exploring London.

The hotel is clean and welcoming, lift access is great if you have luggage and they also offer luggage storage for if you arrive early and want to explore without bags before check-in. The room size was perfect for me and my daughter and enjoyed the stay :)

The downside was no kettle in rooms and maybe the sink being a little too big for the bathroom taking a lot of space but wasn't too much of a problem. Wasn't too fussed on the breakfast not much variety for our tastes but it's personal preference

This hotel is a little gem in a fabulous location, 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station. Excellent value for money. The big bonus is the lift!! A simple breakfast is provided. The bathrooms are very small, but the shower is excellent - hot water and good water pressure. The beds are comfortable too. There is quite a difference between room sizes, so I would recommend checking before booking. There are a number of restaurants within a 5 minute walk too.

We booked 2 rooms. The twin was a good size, but the double was very small. Check before booking.

I absolutely loved my stay here at Olympic House. My room was a good size; one can expect hotel rooms to be a bit smaller in the UK, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was impeccably clear. I had a beautiful view onto the street from my room. I slept comfortably, and the convenience to Paddington Station was a huge plus.

The only thing I felt was less than wonderful was the breakfast. However, I expected that from the reviews, and with so many great cafe's and such to try around London, I personally would rather go out for breakfast anyway. For the price, this was a great value, and the breakfast to me was not a deal-breaker. I believe the managers of the property do the best they can with the space that is available.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Appreciated being able to leave off baggage before check-in and again after checking out. Location is excellent - close to paddington, parks, and public transport, yet also quiet. I found it warm and comfortable for getting over initial effects of jet lag. WiFi good. Continental breakfast - cereal, fresh toast at table, cheese, ham and pain chocolate on buffet table.

No tea or coffee making facilities in room ( I noted this in previous reviews, but minor comment). Coffee at continental breakfast fresh but very weak.
