Our bedroom was fine but the shower area too small for the larger person. Unfortunately we had to have two nights in another room as the heating failed. This was really small no desk and chair bathroom even smaller no fridge and a double and single bed so no room to sit had to perch yourself on bed which was not as comfortable as our beds in the first room. Mattresses could do with changing as very lumpy. Breakfast good selection but boring as stayed fur the week being given 2fried eggs beans and sausage every morning. Would have been good to have scrambled eggs and bacon

Small bathrooms as showers no room to move in. If any larger than 11 stone would not be able to use.

It was a lot better than I expected. The room wasn't giant, but it was enough for the three of us. The beds were comfortable, the shower was clean, there were enough places to pack on top of, the temperature was perfect and the kettle was working. The breakfast was nice, well prepared and pefect to start the day with. The staff was very nice and very helpful as well, so I would definitely recommend this place. Also the hotel was just a 2-3 minute walk from the Paddington station and 5 minutes from the Hyde Park. It was very easy to get to one point of the city, than back here.

Breakfast was good....not amazing, but definitely adequate...staff were amazing... The location was outstanding and near the train station and also the Hop on Hop off stop so that was so convenient as we selected to do that to move around London!

The room was very small, but certainly adequate for the location. It was clean but older. It was not abnormal for London...The bathroom did have a down step when entering...it was unassuming and caught you off guard. I tripped a couple of times...perhaps a sign "step down" would help on the door???? The price was higher for the accommodations you received , but this is London

Wonderful hotel! The staff are so nice here- it exceeded my expectations to be honest. A beautiful Victorian building looking out at other Victorian buildings it was everything I wanted from the London experience. The room was very clean and the bed was dressed everyday. The bathroom which was spotless was as big as the room with a shower bath and the towel and toiletries changed every day. We were up on the fourth floor which was lovely and quiet. The hotel is in a lovely, quiet and safe location. I was travelling with my daughter and we never felt unsafe there and it is five minutes walk from Paddington train and underground station which was very handy for travelling around. The A2 bus also brings you to a stop beside the train station to and from Luton airport which is very handy for people flying in there but the bus must be pre booked online but there are no changes to and from the airport it’s direct so it’s very handy. The location of the hotel is fantastic with lots of restaurants, nice walks and convenient transport so close by. Overall we had an amazing experience the staff are fabulous both at the reception and the kitchen staff who serve the breakfast are so friendly and helpful and the housing keeping staff take great care of the place and ensure it’s spotless. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Not as good a stay as we usually experience at the Gresham. We had booked 2 rooms - one was extremely cold with the double bed against a very cold outside wall - we had actually stayed in this Particular room before but in the summer so the cold was not an issue back then. The second room had a problem with the toilet flush and our family members had to be moved to another room and then back again when the repair was completed. The staff were very accommodating during this time though.

Although not up to our usual standards at this hotel, we understand that things can go wrong at times but staff were great and helpful as always.

The hotel is situated in a row of similar hotels. It was easy to get to and in close proximity to Paddington Station and Kensington Gardens.We were going to a concert in Royal Albert Hall and it’s perfect for that.Its very clean and pleasant from the exterior all the way through. Our room was small , 216 and at the front of the property but it was immaculately clean and comfortable . It’s a great budget choice for London .

Nothing really . It definitely did exactly what we needed. If anything, it was a little bit warm and a small piece of paper was peeling off by the radiator but that’s all I can think of.

Reception and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well located in a lovely tree lined lane, very easy walk to Paddington Station. Close to eateries and very easy to get all over London using the Tube. The bed was nice and comfortable, bathroom was a great size. The bedroom was a little compact but had everything we needed. The lift was a big plus as we were on the 4th floor. Breakfast was great as were the staff. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay and would definitely recommend.

There was nothing we didn't like.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were polite, friendly, and always ready to help. The room was clean and comfortable, with daily housekeeping, which I really appreciated. As the website stated that rooms included a bathtub, I booked with that expectation. However, upon arrival I was given a room with a shower. Thankfully, the staff were very understanding and quickly changed my room to one with a bath, just as I had hoped. The classic English breakfast was a lovely way to start the day. My room had a fridge, which was very convenient, and for guests without one in their room, there is a shared fridge available in the bar. I was especially pleased with the option to leave my luggage in a secure storage area after check-out, allowing me to enjoy the city until my train arrived. Overall, a great experience — I would happily stay here again!

As a small suggestion, it might be helpful to provide new bath plugs in some rooms, as the current ones may not always function properly.

When we first arrived we had a really cheerful guy on reception so friendly and helpful sadly I didn't get his name.we arrived at about 830pm 30th Jan. The other receptionists were far from cheerful and friendly. When we left 10am on the 2nd Feb we said bye at reception and she just said do you want to leave your bags. We thought and she just said in there. Moving her head to indicate the luggage room. Not for me who is hot on customer service

There was a lovely breakfast so much too eat, except as soon as you walk through the door they ask if you want your full english, not giving you time to sit down have cereal, toast etc...but hey they were very friendly nevertheless Oh and a small bedside table would have been good room 231 we used the rolled up duvet

if you're travelling with a BABY -- I was very nervous about the cot + stroller accessibility. Cot was provided as promised, the elevator was big enough to fit a small compact stroller, and there was also an option of leaving it on the ground floor in the luggage storage which was very helpful! The staff was amazing!! Super helpful even with things they did not need to do. Very friendly and willing to help, especially good when you're alone with kids, I found that it elevated our stay a lot. The room was truly tiny with barely any space to move and a tiny shower with place to stand only, but honestly I was expecting it considering the central location. There's space to sit at the reception floor, sofas, microwave that can be used, so that was nice.

There was only one high chair at breakfast so often when we came there was already a family using it and it made breakfast a little difficult. I also found the option at breakfast a little lacking and limited, they did provide both continental and a warm English breakfast but it was the same everyday (sausage, egg and beans) and there was no fresh fruits or veggies or yoghurts at all, after a few days it got a bit tiring. The Wi-Fi was decent but absolutely terrible on days when many guests arrived, especially on the weekend and certain evening hours. If you're working remotely like me and need that fast wifi connection, make sure you have a backup!!
