I have stayed at this hotel before. I was happy the first time & happy this time. The hotel is close to Paddington railway station & several tube lines. It is a short walk from Kensington Gardens. Hotels are expensive in London & I wanted a single room to keep costs down. The single rooms are at the top of the hotel up several flights of steep steps. I am ok with this. The room is big enough & quiet. The breakfast is good. There are plenty of restaurants & pubs close by.

Top location, walking distance to Paddington Station and Hyde Park. Good service and friendly welcome! It is an old building so the rooms and stairs are small and there is no lift (which is not uncommon in London), but the most is made of the room's space and it has all you need for a (short) stay. The room was clean and had coffee and tea making facilities. The breakfast was basic but nice and sufficient. I would definitely stay again!

Hôtel well spotted for a few days in London. Practical to get to all places. Very nice people in charge and a quiet place to rest and sleep. Very clean and good mattress.

The room for 3 could have been a little wider. The shower system not very practical for shower- English system. Breakfast closes too early on Saturday at 9am. Breakfast is ok, not exceptional.

Location was ideal for my first day in London, less than a 5 min walk from Paddington Station. Room was very cute, clean and comfortable with a window overlooking a pretty, tree-lined street. Although small, the room size is perfectly sufficient for a single traveller. The owners are a lovely Italian couple who were very kind and very accommodating. If you need anything at all, you simply ring a bell in the lobby area and within a minute or so they are there to help you. Breakfast was hearty with a choice of traditional English style or continental, complete with juice, coffee, or tea. I really enjoyed my stay - was exactly the way I wanted to spend my first day in London!

My room was located on the top floor - 7 flights of steep stairs up. As I am fairly fit and only brought a carry-on suitcase with me this was not a problem at all, however, if you have mobility issues or large amounts of luggage, the stairs may be an issue for you as there is no elevator.

The host was a very nice man. Got my room before check-in time (went to drop my bag). They make you breakfast (which I prefer over buffet). The one person room is very small but I don't mind.

Location is great - few minutes walk from Paddington station which has all the connections to travel - heathrow express, various tube lines as well rail connections. Hotel is in a quiet area and around Paddington station there are ample eating options We were out all day from 9 am to 10 pm. Hotel was perfect for a good night's sleep and morning breakfast. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Room even had usb charging points!!

It was perfect for our requirements, which were really a comfortable place to spend the night, before heading out exploring during the day. In general, lots of narrow stairs, so a point to note for those with heavy luggage or physical challenges. We were on the 1st floor and with small bags, so it worked great for us!

Excellent location, near Paddington Station & Hyde Park buses. Room was clean and well presented. Well fitted out bathroom, I'm not on the small side but the shower cubicle was great. Little extras in the bathroom, wasn't expected for the price of the room. Clean fresh bedlinen. There was very little noise. Check in was easy, I'd forgptten I'd two bags with me and the receptionist kindly offered to take it up for me, but I was fine, the. I booked very late, so ended up on the top floor, it wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, I had a very early start, so missed out on the breakfast.

Very minor, I like a firm pillow, but if I'd gone down to reception, I'd likely have been offered another pillow.

The hotel is well located, was good value and the room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast was served and good,(egg, bacon, sausage etc. ) and the staff were attentive and asked if I needed more. I was able to leave my bags although there was no full time reception.

Although it was fine for me, the breakfast ends at nine which may not suit late risers. Also there is no lift and my room was on the top floor, again not really a problem for me but it may not suit those with mobility issues.

Lovely triple room with three separate beds. Room size is small but the room is perfect if you’re exploring all day and just need to rest at night. Renovated bathroom was clean and water temp for shower was brilliant. Lovely owners and were always kind to answer questions, also great breakfast spread. Highly recommend as it is in a nice part of Paddington!

Although there is a big step up into shower so not great for accessibility if you need that. There are also many stairs and no lift we luckily had the bottom floor room.

Very close to hyde park, the staff was so nice and very welcoming, the breakfast was included and came hot with just enough to satisfy, it's clean with everything you could need, tea and coffee in the room ect,

Our room was on the very top floor however. The hotel was fully booked and we managed to get that room but if you do happen to get that room, set up camp half way up. We couldn't get cold water in the taps it was room temperature, at this point I'm struggling to find any faults.
