I stayed here a few years ago and swore I'd never go back but its been serious updated. Very clean, great staff. No kettle or desk but comfy bed and great location - it's fine for a night or two. Walls are very thin though and you can hear other rooms and toilets. I would stay again though for the price

The rooms with compact but clean and comfortable with a small double bed and very small private bathroom with a shower. Surprisingly there was a smart TV in the room where you could log in to Netflix, Prime or YouTube. The hotel was only a five minute walk to Paddington station, so excellent location. The stairs were steep and no lift, which is expected for a two star hotel. The staff were very friendly and watched our luggage for us when we checked out. Manage your expectations, it’s a two star, cheap but central hotel in London. Very reasonably priced. Would stay again for a night or two maximum, as the small double bed is a bit small for two people but does the job!

The hotel is being reformed, old construction but they are redecorating. The location is excellent, the hotel is closed train station, bus, metro. Really handy!

For one day or two days is ok, but for more days is uncomfortable, too small. I have been stayed in the same franchise in Amsterdam, and the room was a little bit better. They could have a better decoration to small bedrooms, thinking in solutions for small rooms. We had to leave our bag on the floor, because there was no chair, or bench, or wardrobe.

Ability to check in earlier than first anticipated. Cleanliness. Effective air-conditioning. Friendly staff. Able to securely hold luggage whilst we went for breakfast coffee after checkout.

No lift and steep stairs - was not aware. We were on 3rd floor and difficulty with luggage. Tiny room felt a little claustrophobic. Do not like double beds up against a wall. Difficult to get out to toilet for one on wallside. Very tiny shower room. Again felt a bit claustrophobic. Hallways not clean - same mop and bucket with dirty water in hallway from arrival to departure. Trip hazard aside from anything else.

The location was great. I was able to leave an overnight bag at the Hotel early in the morning and therefore before book in time which helped greatly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean.

The Hotel is obviously being done up and I can understand why they have started with the bedrooms, which are great. However, The outside and reception haven't been modernised yet and with 'first impressions' being so important I feel there needs to be something done, if I hadn't booked I am not sure I would have walked in to ask if there was a room available. After seeing the rooms and meeting the staff I look forward to seeing the new reception area when I next go to London.

The attention and politeness of the man on reception was great. The room was a fair size and the bed modern and comfortable. Bathroom clean and well stocked. Tv in good position and a remote that worked, not always the case in hotels

Other then the rooms, the inner areas of the hotel were much older and a little uncared for. The building had obvs been used for something else previously and there was a big contrast between the staircase and corridors to the rooms to the actual rooms which were modern and clean.

I've stayed here quite a few times when attending BST at Hyde Park. The staff are always super friendly, the rooms are basic yet sufficient and clean. The location is superb as it's close to Paddington, euston and edgeware stations. I'll definitely use this hotel again.

Convenience of being close to St Mary's Hospital. Staff in hotel were very friendly and interested in me. Nothing was too much trouble and always had time to listen. I had previous stayed here for 4 nights while visiting my brother in hospital. Great to be able to borrow a hairdryer and when the shower curtain came down was fixed by the afternoon.

The entrance hallways and the staircase to the first floor look a bit worn. But upon moving to the second and then third floor (where my room was), the renovation is noticeable; the place looks quite nice. The room was very clean, well-equipped, tidy, and looked renovated. We had a very pleasant night, undisturbed, and very comfortable. I recommend staying here.

It was in a good location very close to the train station, the staff were friendly and helpful, it was good value for money. Relatively clean and liked that they provided two towels. Overall, it was a lot better than I was expecting.

My room was on the third floor with no lift - not very accessible for people with physical disabilities. Other than that, the tv was out of tune, the shower was very tiny and filled up with water very quickly (maybe the plug was a bit blocked so the water went down slower?) and it was difficult to open/close the window.
