The breakfast was good: scrambled eggs, hardboiled eggs, fruit juices, toast, fresh and canned fruit,i sliced cheese and cold cut, cereal, yogurt, etc. Room was on ground floor as requested. Kind staff. Private shower, toilet, and wash basin. TV. Good location: close to Paddington underground and rail. Close to HSBC ATM on Praed St. An oscillating table fan in room. Clean room. Clothes hangers in closet. Daily house cleaning. Small city park outside.

Room was small. One bath towel provided: no face towel. Can hear the rumble of the subway trains underneath. No lift. Tap water non potable.

We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at the hotel. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the basic amenities we needed for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and the housekeeping staff did a great job each day. One of the highlights was the location — it was very convenient, with easy access to public transport, nearby restaurants, and popular attractions. It made getting around the city quick and hassle-free.

No lift - but it’s all good.

The hotel isn’t that far from Paddington Station, just past McDonald’s. But you have to go to the Dolphin Hotel to check in first to get keycard for the Lodge Hotel. I was nicely welcomed when I first arrived. My room was luckily only on the first floor as there are only stairs. Was a nice size room with a choice of four beds to choose from. The one I chose I slept well in. There is tea and coffee facilities in the room including a fridge. I certainly would stay here again.

I did mention this the last time I stayed.. It would be nice if the was a bath mat to step out of the shower with.

Location, accommodation, staff and organising beds/linen every day. Style of house and where it was located, across from little park and lovely window overlooking the park unexpected and so lovely. Area so close to paddington station and great for walking across the park to Natural history museum, Royal Albert Hall etc ...such a nice location....walked to Notting Hill/Portobello market and loads of lovely cafes on route!

Can be a bit noisy because walls/doors thin and close to the Station. Could do with a hand towel and replenishing tea/milk etc.

Location is perfect! Only 2 mins walk from the Paddington Station (Zone 1 in London), access via Praed Street. The luggage storage facility and the staff were really helpful. The staff were also communicative and friendly, every single message from me was always replied promptly. They even helped me accepting a package that my UK friend sent from another town to me and it arrived two days prior to my check-in date. I’m sincerely grateful for that.

My room was at the 2nd floor and I was struggle to get the big luggage up the stairs into my room during my arrival. My left hand joint was sprained because of it when I checked out on the 3rd day, trying to get the luggage down the stairs into the reception area. Thank God it wasn’t that bad. One of the curtain rail fell off so I was afraid to close the curtain before I went to bed on the first night. I reported to the receptionist that evening and thank goodness it could be fixed the next day. No bathroom mat available in my room. When I stepped outside the shower, I had to do it slowly and carefully for fear of slippery. I also reported this to the receptionist and she gave me an extra bath towel to be a bathroom mat.

One thing I did like straight away is that I was able to check in online before I even got to the hotel. Which wasn’t that far from Paddington. I was nicely welcomed when I first arrived. My room was on the fourth floor which was a bit of a climb as there is only stairs. Was a nice size room for bunk beds. Nice touch to the room with a electric fan, tea and coffee facilities with a fridge. If I had to I would stay here again.

There was more pressure with the cold tap than hot tap in the shower and it would be nice if the was a bath mat to step out of the shower with.

The bedroom was fine. The hotel is well situated, close to tube station. Loads of restaurants/shops nearby as well. The staff was nice.

The hotel has two building and the breakfast was not in place in mind. I didn't have time to go to the other building to get food as I had to catch a bus so I ended up leaving with no breakfast. Also there is a kettle and coffee/tea in the room but there was also a sign that the water wasn't drinkable so I couldn't enjoy a coffee either.

Very convenient for Peterborough railway station, and very good value for money. Owner was friendly and helpful and since a bigger room was available upgraded me free of charge. Room was clean and comfortable. There were very good facilities for food and eating (fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery).

Shower was a bit temperamental though worked OK overall. TV wasn’t receiving ITV (for Scotland-Germany game!) but that’s a digital reception problem (and maybe just as well in the end I couldn’t watch live 😀 - BBC reception for highlights was fine).

The ground floor room requested was available. However, the room was very warm and stifling but a fan was provided and everything was in working order. Staff were pleasant and helpful. No one was available to check me out in the very early morning despite being told there would be but I managed to leave the room card in reception.

The property is made up of several buildings (Dolphin Hotel, Dolphin Inn The Lodge) and it was difficult to find the main reception.

7 minutes walk to Paddington Station, clean rooms, 24 hour reception, late check in and early check out for those who want to catch trains, Fast check in and out, Online check in available to reduce check in time, Key card access, safe rooms, Tea amenities provided with kettle, extra pillows in closet, Ok toilet and shower with hot water ( working condition)

No lift so have to climb flits of stairs with heavy luggage, Request a ground floor room if u are in for a transit
