So 1stly, It was a continental bf that suited me and my kids (9 and 14) breakfast biscuits, brioche, croissants, yogurt, bread&butter and a capri sun each - it was perfect & was left outside our room at the exact time we said. 2ndly the room - it had everything you needed a clean shower, clean toilet with plenty of toilet roll, towels, a wardrobe with hangers, bedside drawers, hairdryer, iron, a safe, a mini fridge and kettle with tea/coffee/sugar/milk sachets, TV and even a fan! It had plenty of sockets even with usb a ports - if you forget your charger don't worry there is a vending machine where you could purchase one cheaper than a local BnM shop, You could smell the place was clean instantly 😁 Thirdly location- its right near Paddington Station so we were able to navigate the tube to hop across london in matters of minutes and avoid the CC zones. There is parking outside it is on street parking which for a car is reasonably priced but i drive a WAV van and it charged me based on the co2 output of my vehicle which was bloody weird so it cost me around £20 for 4hours(during the day) there is other options nearby and for longer times that is wear i moved my vehicle. Otherwise i was able to acess my car and it felt safe to leave it on the street and my room was right above it so i had perfect view of it. The place is situated in such a cute little row of hotels and a lot of familys seemed to be staying within many of the rows, local shopping right on your doorstep, mcdonald's right around the corner, the tour bus also picks you up right from the end of the street too which was handy - gift stores literally on the next street and out of all the places we visited in london nothing felt quite as safe as Paddington did so im glad we chose here. Lastly the staff!!

Water being available in the room not just T/C/S as (it is available in the vending machine at a very reasonable price though)

Excellent location, literally 5 minutes walk from Paddington station. The hotel is in a great area - lots of restaurants, cafes, bars and old style pubs. We had booked a triple room for three adults. Room was fairly small but to be expected in these older hotels in that area and more than adequate for the two nights we were there. The room and bathroom were clean and the beds were clean, fresh and comfortable. Breakfast was brought up to the room - this was a very well stocked tray of croissants, yoghurts, an assortment of breakfast biscuits & wrapped cakes and some squash. There was also tea & coffee making facilities in the room - plus a fridge which was really useful as we were in the middle of a heatwave - plus a fan in the room. The hotel is one of many in the area which are Victorian and so you have to accept that many have a lot of stairs and few have lifts. The staff were friendly and welcoming from start to finish - we love the area, would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

If I had to find something, it was that we were right on the top floor and there is no lift - but I had asked for a view of the garden square and we had booked last minute, so that might have been the only triple room available when we booked. Would ask for a lower floor on a return visit. Apart from that - there was nothing that we didn't like!

The staff was wonderful, extremely accommodating helpful and very friendly. The location was perfect for our stay just a block to paddington station easy to the subway or a bus to anywhere we wanted to go. The room delivery breakfast came right on time and was a surprise of delicious treats much better then I expected from reading reviews, delicious selection of croissants muffins and breads, with butter and jams, yogurts, fresh fruits, juice boxes plenty to start the day and carry some with us for snacks. It was an older building so I was quite surprised to open the door to a beautifully remodeled small space bathroom.

. We had a stroller and handicap walker and the staff immediately worked to get us into a first floor room which was smaller but ideal for us.

Pros: Staff - The Gentleman who checked us in was exactly that - he was welcoming, polite and very informative. Location - The location is great ! Underground right around the corner and a lovely square right outside. Cleanliness - We could smell the bleach as soon as we stepped into the hotel, although it's a little dated the place was immaculate. Food & drink - Lots of different choices of restaurants in the area, something for every taste. Not the eating out type? No problem there's a fridge in the room to pick your own bits up from at one of the many local shops ! A plentiful breakfast basket is delivered to your room at a time of your choice in the morning, full of croissants, hot cross buns, juice, yogurts and cereal bars. There are also tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Again - for the price it's not to be sniffed at !

Cons: Noise- This is no fault of the property, but we were on the ground floor and you can hear the tube running below. There's nothing Tony and Co can do about that but it is worth noting. It didn't bother me, after a long day sightseeing I slept right through it but my husband did struggle to sleep. Rooms- The room we were in was a little on the small side....that having been said I've stayed in smaller at the Hilton, and they have made great use of the space available.  The walls are also a little thin and you can hear others in the hotel, again though there's nothing the owners can do about that and I slept so well it didn't bother me.

The standard of the room met our expectations. Room was clean and recently refurbished, clean, comfy beds. Location was ideal for us, and close to nice parks. Quiete. Brekfast was a bit disapointement. If I would stay there again I would choose to have no bgrekfast. It was mainly baked goods from purchased in local supermarket. No toaster in the room.

In first night I was bitten several times by some insects. Part of my body was covered in several spots which resulted in swallen arms and forehead for few days. I assumed it could have been spider, as out of 4 of as only I was affected.

The location was ideal,not far from Paddington station and local shops.The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable apart from the double which was the mattress was a little worn.The breakfast was absolutely amazing and was plenty for a family of 5.The was a small fridge and a kettle which was very handy.

What we didn't like that the door kept jamming and we couldn't open it at all,even the desk boy came and couldn't help,this was very inconvenient for us.Also you could hear the underground tube rattling from our room. The bathroom could of done with a shelf to put our toiletries and towels.On the whole it was a pleasant experience.

Breakfast delivered to you door at the time you request. This was very convinetent as I was working online and didn't have time to get food. Staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. I felt comfortable to approached them with any questions or help. They were kind and helpful. The area is perfect you can walk to historical and cultural places very easily through Hyde Park which is only a 10 minuet walk away. Relay Albert Hall Close and Paddington station a Sone throw away. Various food options on the road next to street, Lebanese place was very nice and affordable .i went there every night of my stay. Park immediately opposite in case you want to get fresh air and sit outside in the evening or morning. Big clean room, nice windows and light. Comfortable sleep and quiet hotel at night.

Great price, cheapest In the area. Without compromising standards.

Balcony was a lovely surprise! Beds were very comfortable and clean. It’s an excellent location!

Room was too small for four people. The bathroom door didn’t close properly or lock which was an issue for all our privacy. Very cold due to balcony door draft coming in, maybe could seal the door? Would prefer a checklist on arrival for breakfast tray. We’d have chosen croissants, juice, bananas. No need for all the biscuits etc so might save you hassle and money to give a checklist.

Easy check in and out. Room was small but had all the essentials & was very clean. Location was fantastic with paddington station at the end of the road and surrounded by lots of food, drink and shopping places. Hyde park/Kensington park within a 15 minute walk. Continental breakfast provided to your room which had lots of choice and at a time of your choosing. Very happy with our stay

Walls were quite thin and we could hear the room next doors T.V which they had in at 11pm at night.

The location was perfect...even better than perfect....it was ideal the train n tube station is around the corner. Hyde Road is about 5m walk away....the hotel has fantastic facilities around....like restaurants...cafes ...shops n I seen a bar or two. The breakfast that was delivered every morning was great. There was enough for the 5 of us with food left over. We were in a room for 5....and we had enough room for bags...coats etc. And we had 3 comfortable beds and a double bed in the room. There was a small fridge and a TV on the wall with a lot of channels on it. There was also an ensuite. ...and a kettle with tea n coffee available. The room was cleaned every day ...and the staff were brilliant. They were so friendly and helpful.... I will return to this hotel for future visits.

The only complaint is the pillows...maybe if there was 2 on each bed ???
