I had a double room with bathroom and shower facilities. Room 16 on the third floor. The room was clean and tidy with a great view over London. The room was cleaned and tidied and towels changed on a daily basis. Every member of staff was pleasant and helpful. The street itself was quiet but two minutes walk and there were pubs, cafes, restaurants and a great atmosphere. Victoria Station/underground/bus and coach stations are 10 minutes walk away as are a couple of theatres. A great location.

This is a two star hotel and some of the communal areas whilst clean were tired which may bother some folk. The rooms don't have tea/coffee making facilities although I think these are available in the communal lounge on the ground floor. Possibly these could be made available on an individual basis for those on the upper floors?

If you are going to London to stay in a hotel, you can safely choose Buckingham Palace. But if you are going to see London itself, this hotel is just what you need. The location of the hotel is excellent - many attractions are within walking distance, and there is also a train station, metro, and bus nearby. The room was clean and had everything you need. Although there was no kettle in the room, there was a water and beverage machine that made up for it. I would also like to mention the staff at the hotel, who were very attentive and always ready to help and guide us. The lovely women in the kitchen always greeted us with a smile and provided excellent service. If it's important to you, there were many families with children staying at the hotel. I also recommend it to women traveling alone.

The kettle in the room sorely missed Breakfast was very small consisted of few beans, two eggs and one tiny sausage Was upgraded as refurbishment work was going on in my room but was putting in the basement and was very noisy at night There was a door in the bathroom which led to the basement steps outside, which wouldn’t lock

It's got charm...and a lot of stairs, so be prepared! The vending machine in the lobby is all free drinks, the vegetable soup was amazing! There was a home cooked free breakfast and the two women making it did an amazing job. I was so happy to experience full english breakfast. The hotel is in a great location with many restaurants within walking distance as well as walking distance to public transportation.

Great value for money! Awesome location at a good price. Our room was newly renovated, clean. Breakfast was included which was also a big big plus as food in London is pricey. It’s not fancy, so don’t go in expecting a luxury stay, but for what it was I thought they delivered a good experience for the low price.

No AC but a fan was provided. Breakfast is only 7:30-9, would have liked if it could have been til 10

The carpet and corridor are tired-looking but apart from that the room and ensuite I had was spotless, and a fan available for the heat. Staff friendly and helpful. Great view over the city from my room. The hotel is very centrally located, and I felt safe in the area walking back at night after a show. A bonus to have breakfast included too and drinks readily available.

Only drawback was the stairs.

Loved the hotel itself - they've revamped the rooms since I stayed a few years ago and it feels a lot more modern inside. Perfect location, great price if you're not fussy. Staff are helpful, and a 24/7 reception is always nice

Bathroom was always cold - seemed like there was a draft from the bathroom window when I felt it but no big issue :) One of the sconces (wall light) above the single bed was missing a lightbulb though

Incredibly central, close to Victoria underground. Free breakfast, limited but free. No bed bugs, I always check before unpacking

This is an old building which needs an overhaul. I was on the ground floor this time and the bed and mattress are getting to end of life. The carpets are super quality but really old. There are stains on the ceiling from a historical leak. No curtains, just nets. Not an issue at this time of year but height of summer it would be. Can't open one wardrobe door because of the television. I sat thinking how much to bring the room up. I reckon £500 and it would be amazing

Comfortable bed, and good shower over bath facilities. Complimentary hot drinks. It was nice to have a complimentary breakfast which we weren't expecting when we first booked. The room was nice and clean.

The complimentary drinks machine didn't have all the drink choices available. Just wanted a basic tea and coffee as there was no kettle in the room to make our own.

Great position to visit London and to go back to the airport since it's near to Victoria Station and Victoria Coach Station. Free vending machine for coffee, tea or just water. Wifi in al the areas.
