Beautiful hotel with lovely decor. Great shower. Very kind staff.
We booked a senior classroom because in the photos they looked large and with a lot of windows. Our room was nothing like that but there was no way to know that we could end up in a much smaller room. And as nice as the bathroom is, it had quite dim lighting.

Superb location, beautiful building, the suites were roomy and very comfortable, Tower Suite even had openable windows.
First impressions are important and unfortunately Vikram on reception was neither friendly nor engaging. His abrupt manner needs some work. However, the service received elsewhere breakfast, dinner was exceptional, thank you.

The decor inside and out is amazing. The room was excellent with a complimentary fridge full of drinks plus snacks. A safe for valuables and lots of complimentary bathroom accessories. Bar and restaurant are amazing my only regret was that we had already booked meals somewhere else so did not get the chance to eat but we did have cocktails which were handmade with the hotels own twist on some classics.
Bar closed at 23:00 and because we had gone to a show it was closed when we got back, maybe keep it open a little longer for people coming back from events who would like to unwind. Luckily we had 2 nights so managed to get a drink then the 2nd night.

Lovely little treat minutes away from London Bridge station. The Octave Suite was stunning and spacious, and incredibly comfortable. It boasts beautiful high ceilings and plenty of natural light, which made the room a joy to wake up in. Knowing the stay was for a birthday, the team had a birthday cake ready in the room after check in, which was a very thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. The LaLit is an unassuming 5 star hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. An excellent treat!
There was an incredibly loud racket early in the morning, which sounded like cutlery being thrown into a giant sink somewhere. I initially thought the sound must be coming from outside but it was coming from a service room near the suite - very unpleasant to wake up to. It also lasted quite some time, making it difficult to go back to sleep. Besides that, it was a great stay.

The hotel was lovely. Really well presented. A few things let it down in our opinion. We had 2 rooms so could compare. The bathrooms are large and spacious. There are no hand towels for use. Only large bath towels . So they were damp at the end of the day after wiping your hands several times after using the bathrooms No body moisturiser or hand lotions. Toiletries for the shower weren't replenished, so not adequate shower gel, etc, for day 2 of our stay. Room service finishes at 10pm. This was a problem as our grandchildren were hungry after returning to the hotel after a show. We should have checked maybe, but we thought they could have a treat back at the hotel so they were disappointed. Our Grandchildrens room 220 had black mould on the shower walls, not an expected sight. Breakfast finished at 9.30 am on Saturday due to a wedding there,we weren't pre notified and felt our breakfast was rushed by the staff wanting to clear the restaurant. The building is stunning and ornate. Well maintained and ornate with beautiful floral displays and gardens. Let down by some things that could easily be rectified. This was an expensive hotel, but we have stayed in better and more reasonably priced. We had high expectations, and we did enjoy our stay. But probably won't stay there again.
Concierge is stern, polite but cold! Bar, opens 12pm prompt,no access to coffee/tea soft drink in the lobby lounge until then unless you go to your room..

Good location, close to Guys Hospital. If travelling for leisure then close to London Bridge, River Thames and The Shard. Food was excellent although limited for me. Room was spacious, beds very comfortable with premium feather pillows and Hypnos mattresses, Japanese wash toilets in bathroom. The hotel decor is beautiful and stylish and the food I was able to eat (allergies) was excellent. Staff were warm and welcoming and attentive.
The waiter was not aware of allergies and initially told me they could not serve me. There is no separate menu available for ingredients/allergens. I have severe seafood/fish allergies and requested to speak to someone from the kitchen, the chef came out to ask what allergies I have and was able to recommend dishes which could be prepared safely for me. The room walls require a refresh of paintwork and the shower ceiling/top wall had cracks in places.

Excellent value for money for this small luxurious hotel in a superb location right beside London Bridge! Ease of access from the underground direct from Heathrow airport. We ate in the restaurant on the Friday evening. Food although pricey was superb, however the superbness outweighed the value! It was TOO expensive. 350GBP for 4 people with 6 Cobra and 2 small glasses of wine. Overpriced even by London standards. Bedrooms were REALLY comfortable and very spacious also SPOTLESS!
Liked everything - would stay again! Would not eat in the restaurant again. Plenty of selection on the doorstep though from pub grub to the Ivy. Arrived home 1230am into Sunday morning. Door locked took a good 15plus minutes to get the door answered.

Checking in was quick and our case was taken to our room. The hotel itself is a converted school and the dining/ breakfast room is the old school hall with beautiful wood flooring and a vaulted ceiling. Our room was both beautiful and spacious, the bathroom shower was powerful and they have those ‘super loos’ with a warm seat! There is both a coffee machine and separate kettle and the mini bar soft drinks/crisps/biscuits and hot chocolate/coffee packs are replaced daily. Breakfast was exceptional and service attentive but not obtrusive. This hotel has the most polite and lovely staff we’ve ever encountered, helpful, kind and everything with a smile.
We couldn’t fault a thing - our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer and try the Indian food in the restaurant. So we will be back.

Great location. Gorgeous building, a former school, beautifully designed and it was a privilege to eat breakfast in the Great Hall. Our room was quiet, comfy and spotless. Reception staff were very pleasant. Breakfast choices were great - Indian or English menus were available. Loved the turn down service! Excellent shower. Very comfy bed and soft drinks and snacks in the mini bar were appreciated.
We had to keep our room curtains closed due to its close proximity to a close apartment block. Not keen on the toiletries - they didn’t suit my skin, but I’d taken my own so not a problem.

Our Senior Classroom suite was perfect for a calm and relaxing spring break in London. The bed was king sized and so very comfortable, the coffee/tea making area was well stocked and there was a comfortable table for a quick coffee or a tasty snack from the nearby Borough market stalls. Access to the Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Southwark, the Old Globe area, the Borough Market, St. Paul’s, the UberClipper water taxi, and the Tube via multiple stations was easy. The restaurant is breathtakingly beautiful and the food excellent. A grand experience.
The remote-control shade on the front window would not close the first night of our stay, so the light woke us unreasonably early. The problem was rectified right away after we complained. Lovely staff.
