It was by far the cleanest hostel I've stayed in, in London and I've stayed in about 10 diffrent ones. Lockers are great in room and the USB charger port and light near bed are good.

The noise was absolutely ridiculous I've never know noise like it in a hostel if they got this under control I would of gave this hostel a 10/10 I will definitely return I just hope the noise will be sorted next time. Also the shower was freezing.

Lovely staff, a clean room and bathroom, in a good location. The only person who ruined the entire experience was a pensioner in the room, going to bed at 7pm all lights out, snoring, then she’d wake up the entire room at 5:30am- 6am to boil her travel kettle in the room, to make her coffee and stir loudly and rumble around, and the next morning she decided to have a loud conversation at 7am in the room waking us all up again! So we didn’t sleep much! When I reported it, she then lied and said I was playing loud things on my phone which was completely false, in order to retaliate for reporting her noise disturbances so early during weekend mornings. She was dishonest, selfish and very inconsiderate and everyone was annoyed but they were too afraid to go to reception to report it and be remembered for reporting it or be framed as she did to me! I think she should have gotten a hotel room being a grandmother as she said herself that she had grandkids so her schedule of 6am loud coffee in the room just woke us up!!! So we couldn’t really relax during the weekend which was a real shame! 😢

Its one of the best hostels I have stayed. Area around is very beautiful, not noisy. Most of the time I walk to the main interesting things in the London (only couple time took Metro when I was tired) I took the women room, first time when it wasn't mixed. I was lucky to get first-floor bed. The room was in the basement, but because of the big window, it was bright enough. I took my own locker and towel, so I'm not sure that are the prices for them The kitchen had everything that needed, and also, I like the backyard The shower was good and clean. It was difficult to take a shower and don't make other clothes wet, but it's hostel, I think it's not critical Toilets were clean

I think it for money/value its great choice. I didn't find anything critical

Location outstanding being close to Earls Court Road shopping including excellent supermarkets, eateries and the tube station 6 mins walk . Feels safe to commute alone. Staff are super friendly and helpful. 24 hour service desk with an in person check in. Dorms are clean, fresh white linen and comfortable bunks with s light and power point. Each dorm has a hand basin plus shower and toilet blocks right outside the door on each floor. Self catering kitchen with good stock of dinnerware, cutlery and glasses . Makes it possible to self cater. Also a daily continental breakfast is available for a modest price. Wonderful outdoor garden/ courtyard at the rear - family friendly space for dining.

These are minor things and in the context of the value gif money I completely accept these, so please read in this frame. Facilities a little tired in general Toilets not always freshened up, Kitchen facilities basic eg. knives don’t cut well, needs another large fridge as crammed with food.

Beautiful building, very nice kitchen and backyard. Bed was comfy and the room has a little sink and mirror, personal was so lovely and helpful! They have blow dryer’s on request and also got to borrow a lock for the locker. Lockers are big, i made my medium luggage and big backpack fit. I’d like to especially thank Matt and Luke for their service!

I stayed on the 3rd floor (last floor) during summer and it was way too hot. One floor fan for 6 beds, and the window only opens about 10cm. So that made it hard to sleep throughout the night and not waking up sweating multiple times. Last night took a shower but only had cold water (which i’ll assume it’s usual on hostels during peak hours). Showers are a bit small and don’t have space to hang things so that they don’t get wet. The usb on my bedside was broken, but had a proper wall plug right behind my bed.

Room was alright, will meet your expectation for the price point. Location was exactly what I was looking for (border of zone 1/2, very close to Piccadilly & District lines, as well as National Rail Service & Mildmay in West Brompton so a fair bit quieter than City/Westminster but still quite close to the action), though this hostel has a fair amount of families staying in case that's something you wanted to be aware of. Continental breakfast is 6 quid but I never did that and opted for sausage rolls at Greggs instead. All the staff I came across were very helpful.

7 quid for laundry is a bit steep

Long story short: this is an amazing hostel and a great place to stay when in London! The people are lovely, the location is great and you get exactly what you ask for when you want to stay in a hostel. Long story long: When we were looking for a stay in London, we found out that there were two categories: either completely and utterly beyond our budget OR having the worst reviews possible - in not few cases, both. You can imagine the joy when we discovered YHA and this one at Earl's Court specifically, which was not only payable but mostly also had great reviews. When we arrived, the reception was very cheerful and polite and our room was exactly as we needed it to be: simple but clean and tidy. This is not an high end hotel, no, it's a youth hostel - and it delivered on all the promises that come with that title, and lacked the negative aspects one might associate with it.

We disliked nothing really. One MIGHT not love the jailhouse-esque design of the room, with beds on top of another and bars on the window? But hey, you ARE free to leave the room as long and as often as you wish ;) One MIGHT not love the breakfast (~£5,90) which has toast, croissants, chocolate croissants, fruit, butter, different jams, cereals, tea, juice and coffee - but our daughter really liked all the sweet options, and the coffee was fine!

Location- Earl’s Court is very safe and quaint, an extension of Kensington. I walked around every night and never felt unsafe as a solo female. Also a 2-min walk to the EC tube station, which connects to many convenient lines. You’re also a 10-min walk to the lovely gardens. Room- I booked a private double room for 45£/60$. Small, exactly like a college dorm. Clean, outlets, nightlights, sink in room, mirrors- no complaints. Shared toilets/showers were cleaned and there were multiple for our little annex of a few rooms. Staff and other guests are very nice. Be aware that this is not a “youth hostel” in the way that party hostels or strictly 18-35 stays are- this hostel includes families with children and older adults.

Housekeeping did not wait to enter. Knocked as he was unlocking the door. I was just doing work so it wasn’t an issue but I would’ve liked a moment to tell him not to come in. I wasn’t even aware there was housekeeping since I only had a private room. Small issue though. Also- kitchens are open 7am-11pm, so if you’re a midnight snacker, don’t leave your food in the fridges. You’ll be heartbroken! Otherwise, great stay, will likely return for my next trip to London.

The room faced the common garden and was very pleasant and clean. Bedding and pillows were soft and comfortable. Bathrooms were kept clean but some occupants leave the toilets in a mess especially early in the morning which is not the fault of the hostel. I really liked the garden and the common area. Both were quiet and well-kept. The staff on duty was very polite and helpful. Overall, a good and safe place for a single traveler.

There's a fan in the room for ventilation but it can hot at night when the room is fully occupied and the outside temperature is above 30 degrees. Still, it is possible to get some rest.

The experience at the hotel was excellent, its staff is very friendly, especially one of its employees, named Luke, whom we were not able to greet, but whom we thank for his kindness, professionalism and friendliness, respectful and attentive. The facilities are clean and comfortable, everything is quite clean, it is pleasant and functional, the kitchen is good, the only thing is that the people who go on vacation and use the kitchen facilities do not clean what they use, this exceeds the hotel I wish people would take care of the common spaces. It is an excellent place to stay whether alone with family or friends. The location is very good because a few meters away there is a bus stop and just a little more meters away the subway that connects with everything, the nice and quiet neighborhood, for those who love Queen, like me, it is very close to Freddy Mercury's house. You can't see much but it's nice to know that your home was there. I would stay here again. The hotel has many places to sit and work or relax or meet other people who are in the hotel.

That those who stay do not respect cleanliness in the kitchen, exceeds the hotel because some people is dirty, or when they go to the bathroom leave something dirty. I would like it to be more visible how to enter to use the Wi-Fi, the mattresses could be improved, they are not as comfortable, but you can sleep
