Totally amazing stay best hotel we have stayed in for many years! Contacted hotel before visit due to an injury and could not get in and out of a bath Hotel reception staff were superb We were moved to a room with a walk i shower and a stunning view over the Hooe Bed was huge! Superking at least Bathroom has Hand wash,Hand cream, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner Room spotless!!! Breakfast buffet style and OMG it was brilliant so well stocked and choice and quality was best we have had ever and it is served up in the Penthouse of hotel stunning views while you eat Staff all over the hotel friendly and very very professional The Hotel is in a great location easy walk to main shopping and a lovely walk over the Hooe down to the Barbican Where there are quaint shops and many places to eat! Overall highly recommend the Hotel

Marco Pierre resturant is the only food option and not for everyone Needs to do normal bar food service Not just room service We ate out everynight!! Car park is very very tight we have a mini and HGV driver husband so all good but anything bigger is not easy but overflow carpark over the road Not a lot of parking on streets near by

Size, facilities (needed to work while on holiday and the desk was perfectly lit), tea/coffee and proper milk!!! 👍 plus the bathroom supplies were nice.

Hmmmm, one receptionist was really unhelpful (didn’t get her name) when I needed to use the road side parking as the hotel parking spaces were full and couldn’t appreciate the problem of an overseas phone/limited data to download the parking app. One to opposite side, Lilly was a total legend and assisted above and beyond. Perhaps sone training on this where staff realise we don’t all have local data plans and if we do have Tata plans, sometimes they are slow to download/use.

Staff were exceptionally helpful especially Rose at breakfast time :-) The chap on duty in the Lounge bar on the Thursday evening late was fantastic. Location is great close to the Ho , shopping and the Barbican. Room clean , tidy and beds comfortable. Good size. New lift added since last visit made things so much easier getting up to the penthouse area. I mentioned about a lack of sugar free drink in the lounge bar on the Wednesday and Pepsi Max was available on the following day. I thought that was excellent customer service.

The pool was cold needed to be heated up. It was a hot day and doors were open. No towel drying rail in room. Would have liked to have had a bath as an option for room. Car park is tight but nothing can really be done about that. We did get our car around without incident.

Great location - turn left straight onto the Hoe, turn right downhill towards the shopping area. Close to restaurants and the Barbican area. Nice fitness suite and pool, although hard to swim lengths without bumping your knees in the shallow end! We parked elsewhere because we arrived well before check-in which was also much cheaper but it was a long walk.

Didn't realise breakfast was served in the penthouse restaurant with great views. We weren't told that this information was on the TV, and we didn't turn it on, so we didn't have breakfast in the hotel. We're still not sure whether we could have parked under the hotel a few hours in advance of checking in.

We love staying at this hotel. Spacious rooms with beautiful views whichever way you’re facing. Walking distance to city centre, the seafront and Barbican. The air conditioning during a British summer heatwave is priceless. We booked a seaview room and you open your eyes and the sea is right in front of you! Perfect!

The car park is very full and very narrow to navigate. The huge cobwebs everywhere are not pleasant. And to charge £15 a night is outrageous when there are other hotels in the city that offer free parking for guests.

The Queen twin room was large and maybe the lmost spacious we've had, The 3 lifts were large and there were no long waits for the lift to arrive. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The Marco White restaurant in the penthouse had great views and our evening meal was excellent. The buffet breakfast was very good. There was plenty of parking although it seemed to be full overnight but that may have been because of an event that evening. The location was very good being close to Plymouth Hoe and an easy walk to the shops. The area was fairly flat making it easier for people with mobility issues. An enjoyable stay and we would come again and recommend it.

The city view from the room was not very interesting. The shower was over the bath which could be a problem for elderly people. Check-in at 15.00 was busy with a long queue.

Breakfast was good (poached eggs cooked properly, fried eggs not dry, not cheap beans, very good quality black pudding and mushrooms cooked from fresh not from a can) overall the breakfast was good. Restaurant visit we had a sirloin filled with wild mushrooms and spinach where the sirloin was really tender however a bit overcooked for my taste. We had also had a ribeye which unfortunately it was a bit chewy.

The water in the pool was a little cold and there was no water dispenser in the pool area and is a must especially if you use the sauna and the steam room. There is a dispenser in the hall where the gym pool reception is meaning one will have to travel through the changing room and go out in the hall for a cup of water.

Great rooms, views and facilities. Swimming pool was great, we had VIP to the club lounge which was lovely. Very helpful staff who assisted with extra duvets and towels. We were 10th floor but with the use of 3 elevators we never waited. Car parking was easy and close, sky lounge was beautiful, 360 degree views. Breakfast was just perfect, fresh pancakes to order, little jars of marmalade, honey and jam, full English fresh and great quality. We have stayed in a nearby hotel previously and I would never go back after experiencing the crowne plaza. This will now be our number one choice every time!

Location is great. This is our third time of staying. Breakfast selection good if a little expensive. The staff make this hotel, reception, bar, breakfast and housekeepers all welcoming, professional and helpful. Lovely big clean rooms.

Customer services for the group, not the hotel, we're dreadful. Even after 2 calls and a number of emails did not receive a response. Queried cost of 3rd night which was over double the price of 2, website promotes more nights as being better value. Only response was to send me details of how to upgrade my 2 nights which seemed at odds, why would I pay more for the booking I have when can't get the nights I wanted in budget?

Breakfast was excellent, staff helpful

Bathroom was snug! Shower was over the bath, which was very high to climb in, there was a rubber mat but no phone in bathroom if you slipped & fell climbing in & out of the bath. You had to climb in to switch shower on. Was very nervous as i have short legs. Underground car park was a nightmare to drive in & out. I do not have a big car, it was extremely easy! to scrape the side of your car. In hind sight, if I had known how tight the corners were, I would have parked in the overflow car park out side.
