The place was easy to find, there was plentiful parking, although close to the main arterial route it's situated in a tree lined area which felt calm and was quite quiet. The reception when we checked in were very friendly and helpful. We struggled with the key card in our door and a lovely employee who was cleaning rooms spotted this and immediately asked if we needed help and showed us how to get into the room. The room was a reasonable size but I couldn't describe it as spacious but then the price was ridiculously good for the room. A huge double bed with spotlessly clean white linen dominated the room and it was very comfortable. A desk unit with a dedicated desk lamp and chair linked to a work surface containing tea and coffee making facilities. A sign advising where to leave items to be recycled was prominently displayed on the desk. A handing rail, two bedside units with lamps and a TV completed the furnishings. The on-suite bathroom was a good size and there was a very efficient shower over the bath. Huge white bath sheets were supplied as well as hand wash and shower gel/shampoo in dispensers on the walls and the water was always really hot (with a warning sign). The room wasn't cleaned whilst we were there as the Hotel doesn't waste cleaning materials or items to be laundered unnecessarily. You are told that if you wish your room to be cleaned or more towels to advise reception but I was happy to find a hotel which allowed me to operate my room as I would at home. When we left my husband failed to pick up our key card so we managed to lock it in the room but the receptionist was really lovely about it. The hotel also had a very comfortable looking lounge and bar and a nicely laid out dinning room with patio which we didn't use. Although the place is looking a little tired in places it was a friendly, comfortable, extremely well priced place to stay and I would happily stay there again.
I have no real issues, only a few comments. When we arrived on Sunday morning we were disappointed to see that the lift hadn't been vacuumed and the carpets looked a bit scruffy but I have to say this was the only time we experienced this as the place was spotless at all other times. The hotel is working hard to be green but this meant the toilet paper was very flimsy and we ended up having to use more than usual. There was no cup or glass for water for using when cleaning your teeth and coming from a country where water is an issue this felt wrong and not very green. Also the night stands were solid and didn't open and although there was hanging space there were no drawers for things like socks and knickers so they had to stay in our case.

Nice place. Easy to access if you have a car. Not too bad even with a bus. They serve dinner in a very reasonable price and good beers. The room was nice spacious and sunny. The price was very reasonable as well
They have a weird policy that they do not inform you when you check in, that you should inform the reception , in order to clean your room. I put the sign "please clean my room" two days in a row (day 4&5) of my stay, and they didn't clean it. I told the reception about it and they told me that i should inform the front desk as well that i had the sign on. Otherwise my days were very pleasant at the room

The hotel was good and value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and adequate for me being single. All the food was good and fresh. The rooms and bed are not made or refreshed each day as a matter of course, it seems you have to hang a sign outside to do this. First hotel I have stayed in that do not make your rooms up daily without being prompted too !!!
The hotel is situated on a business Park and entering the area on the Great Western Road the hotel should be more effectively signposted with larger signs. It is easily missed. With the evening meal I sat in the Restaurant for 10/15 minutes waiting for the Menu and Waitress until I was told to go to the bar to order. There was no sign on entry to the area to inform you of this. Be aware of this when you visit.

Budget & Basic hotel, good enough for the low cost. Bathroom & room clean and tidy. Comfortable bed with all amenities you'd need for a 1 night stay.
Had to call reception 3 times due to noise complaints. 3rd call being 1.45am. This of course wasn't the hotels fault, but the inconsiderate guests! Carpet seen better days & there was a broken plug socket which could be a fire hazard.

The staff are all fantastic. Very helpful. The staff make this hotel better than it would otherwise be.
The hotel needs the water leaks repaired. The roof leaks, and some of the plumbing. The TV is always on mute with subtitles. When they advertise a sports bar. The breakfast is good but evening meals are not varied enough. With peas as the only veg. I have been staying there a while, and although well cooked, not enough variety or veg or salad. To allow myself to have a healthy, balanced diet, I know they are working on it, but it shouldn't be that hard to do a pub stye menu.

Tv hot bath and shower and the bed was compable and clean and bathroom and bedroom were clean and room was comfortable
The curtains were dirty not up to standard for a customer only 3 pillows in the double room restaurant menu not good we had to go out for dinner and food at the local restaurant dinner and lunch menu needs to be updated and hotel needs to take cash because it was only card booking for room and breakfast lunch and dinner and I was not prepared to pay 12 pounds a time for breakfast lunch and dinner if u stay at a hotel u should get breakfast free when you book room menu needs to be updated because there is not a lot of choice that is why people don't like the menu and they go else were for food at a cheaper price as the menu is out of date

Close to transportation/ bus stop. The hotel is only 8mins walk to Oxford Brookes University- Swindon Campus- making it the best hotel for OSCE taker for International Nurses and Midwives. The bed was comfy. The carpet may be old but the room and bathroom is spacious and overall clean. Quiet surrounding areas. I wish I tried their buffet breakfast.
The lift was not working when I came, but they were willing to help with the luggage. Nonetheless a very relaxing stay.

The staff and the atmosphere make this a good place to stay.
They have cut down the menu to make it unrealistic for me to eat here every night. Menu only now has 5 main courses. Some of which I don't like. And no vegetarian option. It is a small bar but with barely any stock. No whiskey a mixer is a small bottle. No good for if you come with kids. I used to drink a pint of coke. There is one non alcoholic beer. And no non alcoholic cider. There is talk some nights for food will only be pizza. I can't eat a pizza two nights in a row. I know getting staff isn't easy but there are other much cheaper options close by. Including local pub. Sort the food and bar out. As I eat here most nights and will have to stop.

The room we were given was very spacious including a clean bathroom with both a shower and bath. We were given extra pillows which I thought was amazing since I normally enjoy sleeping with a few more pillows. In addition to this, the Tv worked well we had no issues and it was directly in front of the bed which was perfect.
We didn’t have an air conditioning provided despite it being put on the write up however reception were excellent and gave my partner a fan when he went down to request for one.

There was an error on the parking ( the car park is managed by 3rd party.) Could have resulted in a hefty fine but the staff were very helpful and it was resolved. Thanks Rona!
Nothing really. We used the hotel as a base to visit the south west. We spent 4 days driving to tge Cotswolds, Oxford etc. We walked into Swindon town center every evening for dinner.
