Lovely! So clean, charming and comfortable. We had a twin with a shared bathroom - the shared bathroom was surprisingly great. Really big and clean. Great shower. Body wash, heaps of bath mats for the multiple guests. We were on the top floor and (I think) sharing the bathroom with 2 other rooms, which was great and way better than other shared bathrooms we’ve had. Such good value!!
We wanted dinner when we got in but the kitchen was closed at 8:40pm. Keep that in mind if you’re wanting dinner at the pub. It did look lovely and they have a huge beer garden out the back

The food was excellent really nice. The staff were really friendly, we got there slightly early but that wasn't a problem, let us check in. Even though tables that evening were reserved and they were busy, they managed to fit us in and seat us. Upon returning after a day from the races they were chatty friendly put on the log fire and made us feel very welcome. Lovely old quirky pub/inn with traditional features. Shared bathroom was clean and large, with personal towels and replacement toiletries.
The cost of the drinks was over priced. I think £7/8 a pint & small bottle of prosseco £11. They'd just had a price increase and we wondered if it was just to tie in with the Cheltenham race festival or not. But we visitied as 'tourists' expecting prices to be on the higher end for this event.

For the price excellent, the room was smallish and tv was tiny. No desk. Bed very comfortable, shower excellent. Breakfast was £13 so didn't bother with that. Lots of slight issues with finishing that '4 in a bed' contestants would make a meal about but in reality has no effect on your stay. Satisfactory chicken burger and chips with a pint and small slice of cheese cake £32 was quite expensive but filled a whole. No car parking on site, free overnight parking 50 yards from hotel.
Tiny 24" tv. Could do with a desk.

Beds were very comfortable and room was at a good temperature.
The main member of staff we encountered was very unfriendly, unhelpful, and didn't engage in any eye contact. He just stayed at the end of the bar looking at his PC. We asked a couple of questions and he was a bit brusque in one reply. The other question we asked was is breakfast included and he said he'd have to find out. He wasn't busy, but didn't bother to find out for us, even though we stayed in the bar for a drink after the question.

I booked the White Hart Inn as a hotel whilst solo-hiking the Cotswold Way. The location is right on the trail, perfect for hikers. The Inn is a lovely, characterful old building which retains a lot of its original features. I booked the room with two single beds as I was travelling alone. The description said 'shared bathroom', but I was delighted to find this still meant I had my own en suite! Dinner down in the pub was delicious, and the shower with The White Company ameneties was welcome after a long day walking.

You feel part of history in the old part of this property, your away from the pub, decent Wi-Fi and a clean room with everything you need. Pub serves excellent food, you can also get take out for the room and plenty of other places near by. Good breakfast.
Stay spoilt by yappy dog left in the next room to us by uncaring owners gone to supper. Shower is a tight squeeze and bed was too soft for us.

Whincombe and The White Hart exceeded all expectations - what a pair of gems! Away from the more touristy bit of the Cotswolds, and more charming for that, close enough to stunning villages and towns, gorgeous walks and Sudeley Castle 10 minutes away. The White Hart has the feel of an old inn, with well-kept, basic rooms but in the best possible way, like going back in time. Staff very friendly, great breakfast and dinner was brilliant. Not to mention some very good wine at a fraction of London's prices, and plenty of other restaurants and pubs in walking distance for variety. Definitely looking forward to going back for a longer stay - two days are not enough!!

Our room was on the third floor as a Twin room with a shared bathroom. I was apprehensive about a shared bathroom, however, only 1 other room also used it. We had separate bathroom mats, towels and soap. The bathroom was large with an excellent shower. It would been nice to have a chair in the room to put clothes on/or to sit if needed.
Nothing.

We've stayed here before. Creaky old floorboards, no lift and quite a few steps up to the top floor - but good vibe, right in the middle of town, great breakfast and good offering for evening meals, And decent bitter (important for me!). We had a room with a shared bathroom, which wasn't a problem at all. The price is very reasonable, the beds are comfy... we'd not stay anywhere else.
Not a problem for us, but the stairs would be a challenge if you have mobility problems.

Brilliant staff-there’d been a mix up with the booking but we were given an instant free upgrade-much appreciated! Really characterful, comfortable and peaceful room in a beautiful ancient building. Brilliant location for exploring Winchcombe. Can’t recommend The White Hart highly enough!
Not a thing!
