I read the reviews before i actually booked our stay here & they were all good ones. This helped us decide where in Windermere we were going to stay. And this place did not let us down, it really lived up to our expectations & more. Words cannot describe this place. Our stay was absolutley amazing. If i start writing i wont stop, I could write an assignment on this place, it was that good. No complaints whatever. Plus its a stones throw away from all the pubs, restaurants & the beautiful lake. Staff, food, facilities, room, everything was just ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING we had the best time ever, will definately revist in the future....👌🏿💯

Very clean and comfortable.

Holiday would be rated 9/10. I enjoyed everything. The one area this hotel really let itself down was when I left after my 2 night stay and I was charged £24 to park my car in the hotel car park. Apparently it is somewhere on their website (I don’t see it), regardless, I’ve never stayed in a hotel and been charged for the car park as a guest and also such an obscene amount. I can park my car in the city centre of Glasgow for less for a full day. There is a car park across the road which charges £5 for a full day. I would have been better off using that, had I have known. Everyone BE WARNED!

Ample room size and friendly staff. The facilities is good for a short country break.

Their restaurant cannot accommodate children below 14 year old. It was not clear to the customers on the booking website, and nobody is able to explain to us what was the reason.

Lovely welcome to the hotel via the receptionist. The place was exceptionally clean and looking very festive. Could not fault the location. Our room was cosy and filled with an incredible bed. The Hot tub on the balcony was sensational.

The location of the Spa was not ideal. Definitely a strange idea having to walk into a busy bar all robbed up to have treatments. This was also the same location for accessing the Pool, you were made to sign in/out at the bar on a clipboard. Unfortunately, I was not hugely impressed with the treatment due to the noise from the pool area below. The breakfast was nothing to shout about. For a 5 star hotel I would have at least expected table service for some part of this meal, especially the price which I have paid for the weekend, it's just not justifiable.

The room and toilet were small but beautifully decorated and very clean. The hot tub was easy to use and had been cleaned and treated before our arrival, ready for use. The staff were genuinely friendly and very helpful. The welcome concierge tour on our arrival provided useful information about the hotel and Mark gave us more helpful tips throughout our stay about transport and the area which were appreciated. We dined in the hotel and found the food in the bar and Mizumo restaurant to be well presented and delicious. The hotel was beautifully decorated and had plenty of comfortable areas to sit and take in views of the Lake.

The room was well equipped but I felt was missing a toothbrush holder and hankies but these were very minor points.

We arrived and were met by Reception and given a Glass of Prosecco which was off to a great start We were also shown where Breakfast and the cocktail Bar etc was located and then shown to our room We were also shown how to work the hot tub on the Balcony worked and I am glad we were put in a room at the side of the hotel as it was more secluded than the front with the hot tub as at the front you are on show when using the hot tub. Breakfast was Included in the price that we paid and it was buffet style which you could help yourself from cooked full english to continental and the range of Teas was great and lots of choice. The terrace was lovely and you could see looking out the view you could see a corner of Lake Windermere which was lovely and beautiful to see and what a lovely light lunch with a Sandwich and Side Salad we had, We also ate two evening meals at the hotel when we were there for a 4 night break which were superb and the staff in the cocktail bar were so helpful and friendly and the service from them was excellent.

Car park a little bigger as it was a bit tight with getting parked in the spots

It is stunningly decorated and very clean, and the location is perfect. But the main thing is the staff. Without exception they were wonderful. Polite, friendly and accommodating. Very helpful too. Special mention for Katie on reception who was so helpful and friendly at check in, thankyou all of you for a wonderful stay

Breakfast was a bit chaotic but even so it was delicious!!!

Staff were very friendly and polite throughout our stay, from reception staff, bar staff and so on. We phoned the evening before and requested to upgrade to a room with a hot tub, and this was immediately swapped for us. We were given a ground floor hot tub room as requested and was reassured this was not too much to ask. We loved the hot tub, the bed was huge and the room had everything you could need. There is no mini fridge however you are offered a bucket on ice. The lake is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel and staff can not do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay. Food and drink is on the dearer side, however 5 star hotel you expect this. We will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect.

The hotel location and facilities were superb. We enjoyed using the spa and pool. Breakfast was tasty, fresh and had a great selection. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well maintained. We did not eat in the restaurant at dinner as ate out, but had some bar snacks which we very tasty too.

The room was a bit smaller than expected, especially for 3 adults. The only window was a sky light window, so the living area and kitchen were dark and a bit stuffy. The rooms were also a little hot and cramped, with no window in the shower room. Also no shampoo or conditioner supplied in the shower which is usually expected in a 5* hotel.

Love the little touches like Kendal mint chocolates in the room and mini jars of marmalade at breakfast. Enjoyed the cocktail lounge and the chicken dish served there. I really like the blonde beer option that they had on. Appreciate the hike options you can ask for. We tried two of them and they were excellent. Hope they update and expand on those if possible for when we come back.

Love it here. Really nice place. And can't wait to come back. The only disappointment is the sauna didn't seem to work and the bathroom space was a little awkward. I remember both being issues last time we stayed.
