Location was walking distance to very good Indian restaurant and to the Arbrey Auditorium on the Northern Arizona University Campus (where I attended the Flagstaff Symphony concert). Room was clean -- a convenient place to sleep and eat. I did notice the trains go by on occasion, but I know Flagstaff is there because of trains and highways.

The closet arrangement in front of the heater/AC isn't convenient. Need to finish assembly of new side tables (reverse the handles from inside the drawers); a list of TV channels would be helpful.

This is a great little hidden gem of a motel tucked off the main drive on historic Route 66 that we got for a Genius price discount on Booking.com. It is an older hotel that has been freshly renovated. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was also clean. The price was great and the staff at the front desk was super friendly and customer service oriented.

A little bit of noise at night from the train that runs behind the hotel but overall not bad.

Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. We arrived close to midnight and were able to check in with our dog in tow with no issues. All policies were laid out up front with no hidden costs. Location is amazing! Quarter mile shortcut to NAU for breakfast and library use was unbeatable. The room had the basics - beds, towels, cups. We were there for a quick overnight and I’d go again.

Little things - no coffeemaker :( A tad run down for the price, fridge didn’t get cold, there was only one chair. But honestly this is just nitpicking. We were just fine! I’d byo coffeemaker next time and keep my food in the cooler.

Liked the location, close to the expressway. The room was newly refurbished and very very clean. Simple, but well decorated. The front desk staff were very accommodating and friendly. I was able to park right in front of my room, which made it easy to Unload suitcases, etc. the value was incredible!

The outside of the hotel could have been kept up a little better.

Room was freshly painted and upgraded in the past year under new management, so one should not make much of earlier negative reviews. The hotel is definitely a low-cost establishment, but met expectations as such.

Could have used a second chair so both us us could sit at the same time. A pole or table lamp would be a good addition as well.

Room was great for the price. Was quite cold when I entered though turning on the heat quickly warmed it up. Perfect spot for the price and great location.

The heat setting was one where it would kick in in the middle of the night to warm up the room which was might be a problem for light sleepers such as myself. Didn't want to turn it off in case it got too cold in the room.

Clean room with new paint, very comfortable bed, everything worked well. Very friendly and helpful front desk clerk. The silly negative revues here are undeserved.

The overhead lamps were too bright. We would have liked a bed-side lamp for reading.

No breakfast, location was good, away from traffic and train noise. Nothing fancy. Old motel updated, painted walls, micro,fridge, air conditioning, tv. No carpet was a plus. It was good for just spending the night with a real late check in.

Bed was extra firm. Had good pillows to make bed comfortable. Enough towels for two but could use more. A bit more detail cleaning would be nice, corners of building etc.

The location, the price. Especially, the room was clean.

We'd stay for two nights, our last night. Around past ten, the next room you can hear them talking, laughing and some scratching by the door. Didn't sleep at all that night.

Nice and quite location, friendly staff, great place if you just need a bed for the night

Wish there was more shampoo and conditioner, just one little bag for two people. Driveway is not paved if driving a smaller car prepared to go slow or you will scrape your car.
