Clean Room, great location, comfortable beds, guest laundry, friendly and efficient staff.
I originally stayed at the L Hotel, which is right next door, this is a palace compared to that place. It's about three times the quality but only about 15 bucks more expensive. Don't make my mistake and go to the Highland Country Inn first time.

Very good location for walking into town. Staff friendly and helpful. All good for us.
Only one thing - power sockets were in slightly short supply, and in inconvenient locations to use for charging devices. The problem can be worked around easily enough, but it would be nice to have some more suitably placed sockets. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Decent, clean room for a good price, so we're repeat customers. We appreciate the mini-fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave oven, and dining table with two chairs. Shower pressure and flow were both good with no fluctuations in temperature. The hotel seems to be family-run, with fast and friendly check-in and key drop-off.
There's a lot of room noise, both from the proximity of Route 66 and the in-room AC unit (which was as loud as an idling semi truck). We recommend bringing ear plugs to sleep. (The bathroom fan was super loud, too.) The in-room coffee (via pods) was really awful tasting (better to bring your own instant coffee).

We love this hotel, and they recently did some remodeling that makes it even better. We've stayed here 5-6 times in the last couple of years. The price is very reasonable and the rooms include amenities you might find in a more expensive hotel including a Keurig with good coffee, kleenex, a refrigerator, a microwave, a table and two chairs. The floors are hardwood and the place is very clean. The location is excellent for walking to downtown or campus and there is a grocery store across the street.
If I had to pick something that we did not like it would have to be the fan in the bathroom that is attached to the light. You can't have light without the fan. And it is so loud that I found myself using the bathroom without light whenever possible.

The motel is clean and very well organised, which is reflected in the cleanliness of the rooms. It is also conveniently located within walking distance from downtown Flagstaff and most of the city's amenities. We appreciated the availability of a laundry on site. The staff was professional.
The room was a bit pricey, considering the motel doesn't offer breakfast. The size of the rooms is smaller than in most of the motels within the same price range.

Good value, clean, well-located. Nice hot shower with bathtub, decent shampoo and conditioner. Bed is comfortable. An organic supermarket across the road and a coffee place, Matador, just next to it. Short walk to the train and bus station.
The blower for the air-conditioner and the exhaust fan in the bathroom (when switched on) are loud. I asked for a room change and it was the same situation in both rooms. I can tolerate it for the price and all the other good things and would come back again.

This is a basic hotel, but for my 1 week stay, it had everything I needed. Comfy bed. Coffee maker in the room, Fridge/microwave. Good internet signal. I arrived quite late (after 11pm), when the reception was already closed. I rang the night bell and someone was there is in less than 1 minute to check me in. It is walking distance to university campus and downtown. There is a grocery store across the road and a coffee shop at the corner. Although it is located in a busy street, it was very quiet in my room. This hotel exceed my expectation.
This was not a problem for me. When I arrived I was told that there is no daily house keeping, but because I was staying for 1 week, the house keeper could come to my room once, and I just needed to tell them the night before. I ended up not needing it, as there were plenty of towels that I could change during the week. But some people might find this problematic for a week-long stay.

Hard "wood" flooring and tile in bathroom seem new and much preferred over carpet. Quiet room even though the motel is on a busy road. We've stayed here four or five times and they've always met our request for a ground floor room. The room has all the expected amenities from kleenex to fridge, to keurig with great green mountain pods, to a micro. Plenty of towels and they aren't super thin.
The only thing I can complain about is that the fan in the bathroom is super loud and connected to the light switch so you have to turn it on whenever you turn the light on. It would be nice to have some usb ports for charging.

On site management was awesome. They were friendly, helpful, and provided us with a clean well appointed room. Great value for this centrally located motel and we highly recommend it. Will definitely stay here again in future trips.
