The L-Motel was easy to find and only about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It was simple accommodation but definitely sufficient and the bed was very comfortable. I liked it that it had been a motel from the 1940s onwards and could feel the history a bit. There was a fridge and the shower was nice and hot. The room was a reasonable price. Raj, the manager was lovely! He was very helpful, patient and accommodating. I had to leave early as I was going to the Grand Canyon and I rang the buzzer for the reception several times before giving up and then he appeared with a smile when he could have given me a look with eyes to the Heavens! It was about 7.15am- quite early but he happily allowed me to leave my luggage with him for the day. He was very relaxed and easygoing.

I didn’t like having to get up early! Everything about the property was fine- I would have liked to have stayed longer.

I highly recommend this hotel, it was a fantastic place for me to stay in Flagstaff as a base to visit the Grand Canyon nearby. Quiet, clean and comfortable, the place also seems to have been newly renovated. The manager was very friendly and accommodating, and I particularly appreciated the in-room microwave and fridge. I also appreciated being able to be accommodated at the last-minute, when the Canyon Inn a few doors down the road disregarded my booking made on booking dot com four months prior to my visit, despite having already paid for it. Thank you to the L-Motel for saving the day! (I do not recommend the Canyon Inn at all).

It was one of those, ya get what ya paid for. This place is budget friendly, I didn’t feel like the sheets or bathroom were dirty despite the well used bathroom. The front desk gentleman was friendly Enough. The cleaning lady waved and smiled at me as I was leaving. It’s those little things that give a hotel of this caliber life, all and all I would stay there again.

The room had an extremely strong smell of fabulousa or some fragrance. Nothing wrong with that. However I personally do not like that smell at all.

We had a fantastic stay at L Motel! We stayed in the family room, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, much larger than we anticipated for a motel, and spotlessly clean. It looked like it had been recently remodeled, with a modern and fresh feel that made our stay even more comfortable. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. His warm hospitality truly stood out. Overall, this was a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The owner working at the reception was really nice and helpful. I forgot a watch in the room and he personally went through trouble to help ship it to me which I really appreciated. The room had everything you need and the motel is in an ideal location close to the charming downtown area of Flagstaff. Very happy with our stay!

Comfortable bed, shampoo, quiet at night. I could leave my suitcase after I checked out till the evening. For the price paid in this area it is a very good place. Waw

even if though the towels were washed, they looked dirty. Probably they just need to be replaced with new ones ot washed in higher temperature and with bleach.

I really enjoyed the location of the motel, the host was very kind and recommended a local bar for my friend and me to visit.

Not much, I wish the trash cans in the room were bigger and more towels were places in the room. Regardless a great experience.

Was very clean. Was cozy in winter. Full range of channels on tv. Staff were excellent! Heaps of parking. Desk, mini fridge, table, tv, microwave. Room 109 must’ve been newly renovated.

The exterior need a repaint, but that’s fine with me. It’s what’s on the inside that impressed us.

When you book a small, independent motel you roll the dice. The outside of this one made me leery (outside walls could use repairs and paint). But management was nice. Mostly importantly, the room was extremely clean and the property was quiet.

Very friendly management. Screen window. 'Rain shower'/updated bathroom. Good door lock. Clean bed. Full length mirror. Electric space heater. Good chair and foot rest. Ceiling fan. Faucet water is hot enough for tea! Good wi-fi. Next to a nice coffee shop. Quarter mile to a large grocery store & a dollar store. Very near to a good canyon touring company, the observatory, campus, Downtown, and a forested park and trailhead. Gas station across the street. Sandalwood shampoo included!

Normal wear and tear. Some road noise. Internet t.v. takes some getting used to.
