Lovely room, great location, use of pool and breakfast included.

The hairdryer got stuck in my daughter’s hair and started smoking. The hairdryer was not safe for use and was immediately reported. It was disappointing that when I informed reception on this, I was told it was our fault as know one else has ever complained about the hairdryer. When I reiterated the back of the hairdryer wasn’t safe and I’ve had to cut hair as it was smoking, again I was faced with this was our problem. I found the response very rude and insulting. It was a disappointing end to our stay.

Excellent location to all the shops and restaurants in the area. The room was good size and had the basic necessities we needed for our stay. Breakfast was served early and was convenient to take to go.

I think the breakfast area was very small and it had limited seating. Parking was available but spaces were compact. The hotel is a bit small.

the motel is centrally located in the area that i wanted to spend my time in. the room had been newly remodeled. the breakfast was self serve and it was neat and clean. the fruit was fresh and everything in the kitchen worked as it should.

the newly remodeled bathroom had no ventilation fan. it did have a window that could be opened; however, being on the first floor i did not think it wise to leave it open.

Perfect for our one night in Carmel. Location is excellent!! right in the heart of Carmel by the sea. Excellent value for money.

there was a weird/bad smell as you walked across the carpark and up the stairs to the rooms but not inside the room... thankfully!

Exceptional location in the center of Carmel, very clean rooms (we rented two-rooms king sweet, room with sofa bed is small, but good for one child or normal size adult), very friendly owner who was at the reception desk, parking; king bed and pillows were comfortable; central heating system (in the summer central air). In the morning the owner showed us several rooms that were already very nicely remodeled.

Location and Sanjay (the manager/receptionist) was very welcoming/helpful.

Cleanliness was OK but not outstanding, breakfast was disappointing (found mouldy cakes), not a lot of choice. Car parking was cramped and difficult to manoeuvre around.

THE ROOM WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS. IT WAS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF OCEAN AVE. WE LEFT THE CAR IN THE LOT AND WALKED EVERYWHERE. ALL THE RESTAURANTS WERE FABULOUS.

The staff was very kind, the room was pretty comfortable, quiet, and near to the beach!

For some reason, the hot water in the shower was not working, and my girlfriend hated that because we stayed almost in winter. However, we didn't try to fix it with the staff because we did not have much time for that due to our schedule.

Very polite staff, clean rooms, easy parking, perfect location. So good we came back to stay another 2 nights.

The only downside was the breakfast, a bean to cup coffee machine rather than filtered and better quality bacon and eggs.

The room was very satisfying and clean, and the staff was very accommodating. Parking was excellent also.

I would eliminate the cookies for breakfast.
