the location was great, both when it came to shopping (food and other things) or restaurants. you have to walk a bit to the beach, but it's not a problem, it's just uphill backwards. The Carmel Plaza with stores and restaurants is a good 5-minute walk away. The hotel is simple and clean, we just had queen size beds, there wasn't too much space in the bed. The breakfast basket is ok if you only need a little in the morning. The free parking in the courtyard is very practical. All in all a great hotel.

Advertised as breakfast included. And it was, but in a basket at the front door in the morning. This is weak. Ingredients were "off the shelf." We are in Carmel, a place with great food nearby. No excuse a little, fresh, goodie can't be included. I know off-site locations are available, but for me as a traveler that enjoys a day or two relaxing and sleeping in, going out for breakfast is not so doable. The "breakfast included" a bit mis-leading. Also, perhaps you can change the breakfast item's packaging to something more recyclable and less styrofoam and plastic wraps.

The breakfast. Would rather have less items and better quality. Coffee not good. Only drank it once. Had to buy at coffee shop. Gave us a banana, yogurt, plastic container with cereal, small carton milk, costco packaged danish. Preferably—a simple pastry or muffin from bakery and goid coffee & A hard boiled egg?

Walking distance to town center and fairytale cottages. Ample free parking. Nice comfortable room. Friendly staff.

A little bit of a walk to the beach (15 min) which is downhill going there and uphill coming back. The hotel provides breakfast (milk and cereal, bananas, yogurt, honey bun), but if you are looking for a more filling hot breakfast, then take a short walk into town :)

The breakfast basket that was delivered to our door was perfect, we had cereal with fresh fruit, and took a couple of breakfast bars to the beach and sat and enjoyed our morning coffee. The breakfast basket had, Cereal, milk, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola bars....each for my husband and I to enjoy.

I liked the kitchen area, there was a table, chairs, sink, microwave. The refrigerator did not work thow.

Very roomy, loved the layout of the queen suite. The location is ideal, the beach is a straight shot down, took just a. few minutes to get there. The shopping centers and many cafe’s are a walkable distance from the rooms.

The heater took a bit longer than expected to heat up the room, but didn’t mind it too much.

Pleasant stay overall. The room was clean and spacious. Great location — close to the beach and restaurants. Breakfast was delivered in a basket to the door, which was a nice touch. The hotel felt safe, had a relaxing patio, and convenient parking.

Really comfortable bed, clean, good location, plenty of parking and friendly staff.

The breakfast was a very very disappointing “basket” of cereal in a polystyrene pot, milk and a long life pastry. Not really good for the price we paid. I’d actually have preferred no breakfast to save on waste as this was basically inedible.

Very clean with comfortable beds. TV kept losing signal, but righted itself. We arrived late and had to use phone listed on front door of office to check in. They left a cooler with a continental breakfast outside our door, which we did not expect!

We had an upstairs room, which was not great for two old ladies to carry our luggage.

Great location near old town. Easy to walk to village as parking difficult during day. Staff very friendly and happy to help you. Complimentary basic breakfast delivered to your doorstep.
