Room was clean, beds were very comfortable. Cleaning staff were polite. Very central.

Parking: we went out for dinner with our car, when we came back, there was a car in our spot and all spots were taken. Location of the room was bad…Room 30. It was noisy and loud voices outside. Also room upstairs was very noisy. Wish there was a microwave or toaster oven. WiFi was weak especially at night.

Both staff members went above and beyond for us, not only were they professional, they were extremely helpful. Parking is an issue and they did their best to accommodate us to ensure we didn't violate the road parking rules. The fireplace in the room is a very nice touch, although it doesn't throw much heat, it is charming and unique, loved it. The main office had a water machine we could fill our water bottles, which was very helpful.

I would have a pot of coffee in the main lobby for guests The cobblestones are uneven and hazardous but I also recognize there isn't much you can do about that without hurting the trees. A warning sign might be in order to avoid potential issues.

We had a nice big room with two queen beds which was a good size for me and my family. We also appreciated that the room we chose was dog friendly! The staff were all very kind and accommodating. We also really enjoyed the gas fireplace which made it feel more romantic and cozy.

The room let in a lot of noise from the outside which was not ideal for our dog or our young son. Also there was no great place to sit, the only sitting area in front of the TV was two fairly uncomfortable chairs, we ended spending more time on the beds than I would usually prefer.

The fireplace in our room was a nice cozy touch. We also liked how clean the bathroom, linens, and bed were. It was also nice having our room cleaned up for us while we were out for the day with their complimentary daily housekeeping.

We wish the heater in the bedroom was a little stronger. We also didn’t have good ventilation (besides a window) in our bathroom so it took a while for the condensation and steam to leave the bathroom after taking a shower. We also wish the hotel had better parking.

Both day and night front desk atender. We have a situation of bad communication When I try to get the credit from then, they told me that will be same day, then in the afternoon And when that night they told me in two days To make the story short My refund will be November 11 And a finish pay in cash When I ask for the name of the manager o someone else in charge The person at night desk don't know who owns the Hotel I'm very disappointed about them No training at all.

Loved the location. Quiet and comfortable.. beautifully landscaped with tropical and beach flowers everywhere. room was large (#26).

So many different levels stairs & walkways. Way do crazy but we delt with it. there is a bar kitty corner to the hotel, noise was loud until it closed Friday.. With windows closed, then you leave and come back later in the day the room smelt of mildew.. this room could use an update but all in all good value for location.. wifi in this room was off most of the time, the guy in front said the antenna was directly above the room but I had to continue to go outside to connect to wifi then come inside and hope it didn’t disconnect which it did always. Refrigerator was on the floor in the closet, we had to take a small table from the other room and put the refrigerator on it to access it.

The outside of the property is beautiful, lots of flowers and plants around. It’s in a great location, walking distance to town/shops/restaurants/beach and easy to drive over to Monteray. Carmel is a gorgeous place and we loved spending time here. The room was spacious and comfortable! Seemed good value for money as it is an expensive area 😊

This didn’t cause any problems for us as we arrived at 6:30pm, but it would be good if reception times were more clear for checking-in. We didn’t know that reception was closing at 7:00pm that day (there is alternative contact methods though).

The location was perfect, within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. We had a pet-friendly cottage for 4 adults & one pup. 2 bedrooms & 1.5 bathrooms. Kitchen that was fully stocked. Lovely back deck/balcony that offered a view of the ocean through the treetops. Also, had one parking space behind the cottage, so we didn’t have to hassle trying to find parking. Also, I read several negative reviews indicating that the staff was rude. I found this to be completely off base. The woman who checked us in was beyond pleasant and helpful.

I think the courtyard could be a little updated, just a few nice plants in pots and better furniture. Also, as the owner of an immaculately well behaved mid sized dog, I have to call out a few small dog owners. Boo to a) the neighbor who left their small scared dog alone & barking, contrary to hotel policy, and b) boo to "mommy" whose 2 uncollared and unleashed yappers an at a newly arrived couple, trying to nip at their heels. "Mommy" had zero recall, apologized but couldn't grab them for a stupid long beat. The disrespect meant her 2 animals were one guy's good grace away from a boot kick; "mommy" privilege and rudeness triply compounded given the clearly stated "leash your dogs!" policy.

The size of the room was nice and it was clean and bed was comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was nice. Housekeeping was good.

Parking was challenging for a handicapped person. Walkways were narrow and it was noisy in the morning. It was very warm during our stay and it would have been nice to have a fan for air flow. There was no breeze and through the windows. But all in all it was a nice stay
