We loved the location, service, staff , heated bathroom floors, bidet, quint patio area, very quiet neighborhood. Staff was very accommodating and A++ service from the from desk, to the wait staff, maid service and night guard. Everyone was so warm and welcoming making us feel like we were at home. I could not recommend this place more for a romantic couple get away.

Maybe limited parking but the neighbors were nice and generous to share their space when asked.

We loved EVERYTHING about Villa Mara, and can't wait to come back!!! From the stunning and pitch perfect decor (think a slightly more modern Nancy Meyers meets Carmel) to the ideal setting and convenient locale (steps from the beach in Carmel Point), to the warm and welcoming staff and service (so attentive and thoughtful!), to the many thoughtful amenities and lovely breakfast (everything was TOP NOTCH...and we're a tough crowd!), we felt like Villa Mara was our home away from home and did not want to leave!

Beyond expectations. What a great get a way boutique hotel only 1/2 block walk to Carmel beach…. Listening to the waves at night was relaxing and leaving the windows open with a very warm duvet made our night sleep wonderful. The service was extraordinaire…. Thank you George, Robert, Rocky and everyone that continually asked, “what can we do for you.” Very home like without lifting a finger. Outdoor fireplaces, 24 hour wine available and a breakfast to look forward to everyday. Planning our next visit already. Thank you to owner Dev

Everything! The location, service, food, neighborhood … all absolutely sublime. Especially the service … it is comforting, complete, and not syrupy/over the top. The location is amazing .. every detail is on point.

Very quiet location. Aesthetically pleasing. Very nice complimentary breakfast. Comfortable room and large bathroom.

Only had one of those tabletop ironing boards, which is disappointing for a high quality property. No dedicated parking.

Breakfast was incredible! Try the quiche we promise! Bring a bottle of something and enjoy it by the fire at night after a lovely day at the beach and I promise you’ll want your stay to never end.

We loved the location, the aesthetic, the service, the relaxing and completely accommodating attitude from everyone who worked there. It felt like luxury but far leas forced.

Cake every night when we got home! Terrific breakfast. Kind staff - went above and beyond to help us with dinner plans. Free bikes also huge perk!

It is a beautiful setting and close to the beach. A dog friendly beach! The staff is very attentive and very helpful!
